The way it looks to me is that the Feds are taxing and spending without representation. Seems like the people who will have to pay for all this mess have no say. I am talking about the young. Under 18 and the future as of yet unborn. They are borrowing now to pay off the voters and shifting the payback 20 years down the road. They have been doing this since the Great Society was created back in the early 60′s.

A BP gas station was robbed this morning in Montrose NY. The gas station is included in the Journal News criminal menu – interactive map of pistol permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties. I’d say that the gas station has a cause of action. If not for the reckless compilation of public data serving no public good the station would not be seen as a soft target and vulnerable to robbery.

Big data might have stopped the massacres in Newtown, Aurora, and Oak Creek. But it didn’t, because there is no national database of gun owners, and no national record-keeping of firearm and ammunition purchases. Most states don’t even require a license to buy or keep a gun.
That’s a tragedy, because combining simple math and the power of crowds could give us the tools we need to red flag potential killers even without new restrictions on the guns anyone can buy. The entire article appears to be very well reasoned and touches on principles of thinking that are basic to decision-making for those who are thinking about “civil disobedience.” It clarifies, I’m thinking, that civil disobedience (for the Christian) cannot be a stand alone thing ( that I do just because I disagree with the government). Defiance of government needs to be in the context that not doing so would cause me to disobey God, against my will.
