Arizona and Gov. Jan Brewer Win – Petulent Man-Child Says F*CK You !

A friendly reminder of Civics 101 for the Democrats who visit this site

The role of the Executive Branch is to “ENFORCE” existing laws.   ENFORCE THEM not determine which should be enforced and which should not based on political ideology.   Constitutionally, President Obama cannot just pick and choose which laws to carry out because he personally doesn’t like them.

The fundamental aspects of Arizona’s SB1070 immigration bill were upheld in a Supreme Court Decision today, delivering another substantial blow to the White House and President Obama.

But what President Obama did in response to his defeat today is once again reflective of how petulent and childish this community organizer is.   How this man-child ever made it to hold the office of chief executive is beyond my comprehension.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer celebrated the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday on her state’s tough immigration law, calling the court’s decision a “victory for the rule of law.”

“Today’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court is a victory for the rule of law. It is also a victory for the 10th Amendment and all Americans who believe in the inherent right and responsibility of states to defend their citizens,” the Republican governor said in a statement. “After more than two years of legal challenges, the heart of SB 1070 can now be implemented in accordance with the U.S. Constitution.”

In a highly anticipated ruling, the Supreme Court upheld one of the key provisions of the Arizona law, allowing police officers to check the immigration status of any individual who has been stopped for questioning if there is reason to believe that the person is in the country illegally. Three other provisions of the law were struck down.

In response to losing the Supreme Court ruling to Jan Brewer the Obama administration said Monday it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police.

Administration officials, speaking on condition they not be named, told reporters they expect to see an increase in the number of calls they get from Arizona police — but that won’t change President Obama’s decision to limit whom the government actually tries to detain and deport.

“We will not be issuing detainers on individuals unless they clearly meet our defined priorities,” one official said in a telephone briefing.

The official said that despite the increased number of calls, which presumably means more illegal immigrants being reported, the Homeland Security Department is unlikely to detain a significantly higher number of people and won’t be boosting personnel to handle the new calls.

“We do not plan on putting additional staff on the ground in Arizona,” the official said.

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that Arizona may not impose its own penalties for immigration violations, but it said state and local police could check the legal status of those they have reasonable suspicion to believe are in the country illegally.

Most people won’t know it or feel it or acknowledge it — and any number of faux sophisticates will smirk and behave dismissively of my hyperventilating hyperbole — but it’s settled science from my perspective, not because of the ruling itself, but because of what the ruling says about the relationship b/w states and federal authorities, and about the role of the actual Constitution and its legislative intent, which is now to be permanently subjugated to the PC efforts of philosopher kings and queens themselves pressured by political considerations.” :(

The convention is in the Constitution. It is a last resort put in by the FF’s to allow the states to stop a runaway Federal Government. How they could have known it might be needed someday is beyond me. But they did. 34 would have to step up. The states have the power if needed.

        • tnwahm says:

A convention is NOT the answer. Do you really think that a modern convention would yield a better form of government than outlined in the Constitution?

Welcome mat? Hel1 this administration has rolled out the red carpet for them. Ha, Obama was quick to call the new el Presidente of Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood guy, who has two sons that are US citizens, and was educated in one of the biggest liberal bastions of liberal propaganda in this country. What a guy. I bet Obama was only to happy that the former Mubarack guy was defeated.

  5. Sandusky says:

According to the article WeeWeed linked on another thread (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/06/25/feds-suspend-immigration-enforcement-program-after-arizona-court-ruling/):

“By Monday afternoon, the Department of Homeland Security had pulled back on a program known as 287(g), which allows the feds to deputize local officials to make immigration-based arrests. According to a Homeland Security official, the administration has determined those agreements are “not useful” now in states that have Arizona-style laws. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has since rescinded that agreement in Arizona — with the state itself, and with three local law enforcement agencies.

“The move means that even if local police step up immigration checks, they’ll have to rely on federal officials to make the arrests.

“And federal officials made clear that ICE would be selective in responding to the expected rise in calls from Arizona and other police agencies about immigration status. Officials said ICE will not respond to the scene unless the person in question meets certain criteria — such as being wanted for a felony.

“Brewer, in a statement released late Monday, excoriated the administration for the move. She said the decision showed Obama “has demonstrated anew his utter disregard for the safety and security of the Arizona people. … We are on our own, apparently.”

Petulant man-child, indeed. Doesn’t he think it will make people wonder (on the eve of an election) why he is going out of his way to demonstrate that he cares more about the rights of illegal immigrants than the rights of the people he’s *supposed* to represent?

    • Sandusky says:

Please note that that last paragraph is *my* opinion, not part of Brewer’s statement.

      • WeeWeed says:

They are illegal invaders – not immigrants. Using that word (all the dem talking heads) just pi$$es me off. They’re not immigrating – they’re invading. Thieving, killing, running from the law, whatever – “immigrating and assimilating” is the last thing on their bucket list.

There is one reason, and one reason ONLY that the messiah-to-pariah is doing this…he knows he’s lost a LOT of votes from whites (who either voted to assuage white guilt or were so stupid they shouldn’t be allowed to vote) and a LOT of black votes…there are more black conservatives out there than the libruls will admit. I have a black conservative friend who, against his better judgement, voted for the jackass-in-chief. He rues that day on a daily basis. He struggles with guilt when he sees the damage that is being done to the country he fought for. I have librul black friends who look at me like I’ve lost my mind when I ask them if they’ll vote for him again….that look is usually followed by a string of expletives describing him as anything but the messiah they thought he’d be 3.5 years ago.

He’s in trouble, and he knows it. God save us if this idiot gets 4 more years and no longer has the constraint of re-election hanging over him. Hell, he and his fellow American hating libruls may decide they’re no longer going to “enforce” the 22nd Amendment, just as he’s done with imigration and the Defense of Marriage act, or the voter intimidation by the New Black Pantywads. Geeze it’s shocking just to being typing out the instances of him failing to honor the OATH he took.

          • cajunkelly says:

I am worried about surviving 6 more months of Obama.

            • minpin says:

So am I howie, so am I. With the O doing the Dream Act by EO, and releasing Holder with Ex Privilege, there is no telling what else this guy will do from now until election day. The O makes a lame duck session look like child’s play. The most dangerous time will be if the O loses re-election, and what he does out of spite in that period. Both he and his wife have always thought that the US was a mean nation, and they will get the real revenge in those last days.

              • howie says:

I never thought the country would survive this long with him in the White House. Maybe we will squeek by.

    • minpin says:

The 287(g) program was a very successful program, and the police agencies that sent their officers for Immig. training was very popular, and was ongoing. The HHS took every dollar away from that program, as well as many others, and redirected those monies to their newely created TSA initiative to strip and rape people wanting to fly. Nappy came up with an alternative program called “Secure Communities” which only developed a database to track illegal criminals that had been incarcerated. I doubt the program even bothered to insert information about the lower level criminals. Example, the three Nuns that were killed by an illegal that was imprisoned, then released because there were no federal officials to deport him available when he was being released bak into the community. His original arrest and jail time was for DUI’s.

  6. cajunkelly says:

It’s time to impeach this imposter. He swore to uphold the constitution, and he’s pissing all over it.

I dread reading the news lately. Legal residents of the US are being rousted daily.

Black man jumped and beaten senseless by cops because he’s “WWCG” (walking while carrying gun) and doing *nothing* else. He’s jumped and is telling the cops he’s got a CCP. He’d jumped by FIVE cops and beaten to the point of a concussion. THAT, my friends, is profiling.

A bike rider is stopped, rousted and arrested (a trumped up charge) for having an obstructed license plate. That’s not an arrestable offense where I come from…a ticket yes, IF it was true, but ARRESTED?

His *real* offense was that he was wearing a helmet camera. Oh, and while the rider’s camera caught it all, amazingly there is no dash cam video of this. Yeah, right.

Another man (also in TX) is facing 10 YEARS in prison for videoing a cop arresting someone.

People, legal citizens of our country are having their rights trampled on while ILLEGALS are allowed to do whatever the EFF they want, as long as they vote for that jackass in OUR White House.

Cops can’t do a DAMN thing about ILLEGALS, yet they’re cracking heads of LEGAL citizens ILLEGALLY.

Am I MAD? DAMN RIGHT I’m mad, and gettin’ madder by the day.

That imposter in our White House called to *congratulate* a muslim winning the election in Egypt.

I wake up every morning now, wondering what that imposter will do to damage MY COUNTRY today, what Constitional rights and/or laws he will defecate all over today.

My God what is WRONG with librul Americans? Why can’t they SEE what librul politicans (led by that bombastic idiot) are DOING TO US?

    http://i1246.photobucket.com/albums/gg605/CajunKelly/eed818fa.jpg

    I’m weeping with her.

    • minpin says:

Knowing the procedure for impeachment Kelly, who exactly is going to impeach this president? The only way to get rid of this president is to vote him out.

      • “…The only way to get rid of this president is to vote him out.”

Well, um… No – it ain’t the ONLY way, but… Besides, HE is actually pretty well useless without the massive Leviathan-state comprised of countless SEIU members… THEY are the REAL problem!

Sad to say, there’s nowhere NEAR enough testicular-tissue left among Boobus-Americanus for the other alternative… We’d probably find it difficult to round up enough torches and pitchforks too, not to mention tar & feathers…

Note for the fibbies and other slow-kids: I didn’t say anything about hurting him, that’s not my style anyway. No point wasting time on me…

  7. minpin says:

One of the SC rulings I am confused over is that the state cannot deny employment to illegals. Early on, even the Fed. Gov. put the onous on the employers in saying they would be responsible if they employed illegals. They looked to monitarily penalize the employers. The problem was that even if an employer searched EVerify, the applicant was likely long gone, or even they they had the illegal in their office, there was no federal reinforcement to come and collect the illegal. If they had an illegal in their location, what were they to do? hold the found illegal until the feds got there. The police had no ability to come and collect the illegal, as they were no immigration agents. The only thing the feds did was make it all but impossible to hold an illegal, but the employer got a fine if they didn’t check the status. It is out of control.

    • cajunkelly says:

I’m wondering about that too minpin. As a former business owner, I can tell you we were REQUIRED BY LAW to fill out and keep on file an “I-9″ form for EVERY person we employed. Those forms required a photo I.D. and a Social Security card, just for starters.

I guess the jackass-in-chief is throwing that out the window as well?

      • howie says:

He is like the Captain of the Titanic frantically plotting a course to the bottom as the ship breaks in half. A true Jackass.

      • minpin says:

I’ve worked in payroll department’s Kelly, and was sure to get all of the proper documents that were required to legally complete the I-9 form. To my knowledge, I have no know;edge that any Federal agent ever went to the first location to audit those I-9 forms. The I-9 form is a useless waste of time for employers, yet most employers require their employees to complete those forms. They are about as useless as teats on a bull. It’s nothing more than a federal government edict to participate in paper pushing.

    • howie says:

I think what they are saying is that it is none of a States biz if a person is in the United States illegally. The United States has jurisdiction not the State.

      • Michell says:

Yet it’s state and local governments who have to deal with them. They commit crimes and you have to house and feed them until ICE eventually shows up to collect them. They use our hospitals and schools. They drive on our roads illegally causing accidents which they have no insurance leaving the victim holding the bag if not killing the victim. They drive down wages. They illegally vote in our local and state elections as well as federal elections.
This has been a problem for a long time under several administrations, cops arrest them usually during a crime committed or at least a traffic violation, call the feds and have the feds often tell them we don’t want them. Nobody, Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative really wants to deal with the problem and just want to kick the can down the road. Yet when local or state governments try to deal with the problem, courts knock them down.
It pisses me off, because I have seen them come in and destroy neighborhoods as crime increases and they run off the good folks. But then the same can be said about many blacks although it’s “racist” for me to say so. Of course it’s not every illegal Mexican nor is it every black, but it’s a majority whether people want to admit it or not. But when it comes to illegal Mexicans they shouldn’t even be here, they shouldn’t be given any rights when they ignore our laws and invade our neighborhoods.

The photo above of Brewer & BO on the Tarmac has bugged me from day 1. Given what we know with photo-shopping/editing that has been gone in recent days by the leftist suck up biased media, is that photo for real in portraying the “witch” look? Why isnt her hand in as deep shadow as her face? Would her chin really be that pronounced with the way the rest of her profile is facing?
I think it’s a fake to make her look bad and who would benefit?
    Oblamer the demo

  9. cajunkelly says:

No, she admitted to the validity of the photo, but said she was simply emphasising her position on something she was saying by pointing her finger. Someone should tell the jackass-in-chief that seems to be a cultural thing. While working in an area above the Mason Dixon, I was once reprimanded by an employer because I pointed my finger a lot while talking.

I mean, come on, he’s all about “cultural” things, right?

  10. cajunkelly says:

I too have a question for the librul obama supporters that visit this site.

Let’s take those “poor children who had no choice in coming to America illegally” out of the quation, and discuss how you feel about obama defecating all over the Constitution by Executive Order.

Let’s discuss how this regime claims Fast and Furious was started by Bush, yet issue Executive Privaledge to insure the documents never see the light of day, when if they’re telling the truth it would expose Bush?

Let’s discuss how libruls wanted Bush’s head on a platter over the Patriot Act, yet seem to be absolutely OK with obama extending it, and the anti-Constitutional things obama is doing seemingly on a weekly basis now.

Let’s discuss how pukelosi wagged that humongous gavel while crossing the street after obamacare was shoved down our throats, grinning like the bat shit crazy prog she is, yet conservatives shouldn’t spike the ball if the SC throws it out this week.

How do you reconcile the hyprocrisy? Do you seriously have no remorse for having helped put this law shredding, power crazy jackass in office?

    Seriously….

  11. minpin says:

Has anyone ever listened to Jan Brewer speak. Then look at Brewers record as Gov. beyond her position on her signature AR Immig. legislation. Jan Brewer isn’t exactly the elevator at the top floor. To glory in today’s SC legislation proves the point.

  12. ctdar says:

  14. Susiejoe says:

I have a very different take on the problem and i really object to calling the immigrants illegals. Sure some are criminals – there is another issue of “illegal” drugs that convulutes the issue. Bear that in mind as it is another gross failure of the fed gov. The following link is to Texas’ Ordinace of Secession dated Feb 1861.

    http://www.lsjunction.com/docs/secesson.htm

In it, one of the reasons for leaving the union was
the federal government’s failure to protect Texas’ border from “banditti” from Mexico. Note that their complaint was not towards to immigrants or migrants from Mexico but rather towards the criminals. Hispanics have always moved back and forth over the southern borders since before the southern states existed. Migrant farm workers are just that – migrants. They come up in season to work then go home to work there or they use to before NAFTA which destroyed most of the small farmers in the Latin A countries, leaving many nothing back home except relatives to support. That green card was the system set up for them many many decades ago The contempory problem is that federal system of green cards and visas which is beyond archaic. GW Bush tried to reform it but Congress rejected. Our Immigration policies are all about “politics” and chroney capitalism. No chronies lobbying for Hispanics and thus no politician with a care. And forget the press to analyze the TRUE problems and address them.

    • Susiejoe says:

I should add that the problem seems so much worse these days because of all the entitlements – free school, medicine, welfare, food stamps, etc.

    • If you violate a country’s soverign border, without permission, you are violating the law. That is illegal. Unlawful entry = Illegal. Period.

Failure to call a specific behavior what it is in actuality, is kinda silly no?

Would you object to Unlawful Immigrant?

  15. Walther PPK says:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio now has yet another reason to keep Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama name off the ballot. We know Barry Soetoro was an adopted child and Inodonesian citizen and to become an Indonesian citizen required renouncing and nullifying U.S. citizenship according to Indonesian law. And we know Barry Soetoro graduated high school as Barry Soetoro but there is no record of a legal name change from Barry Soetoro back to the birth certificate name of Barack Obama and there is no published record of immigration and naturalization or reinstatement of U.S. citizenship either. It would reasonably seem that to be granted a security clearance that the legal name status and citizenship status would certainly be an issue here for Barry Soetoro the same as it was an issue for the American Bar association with regards to Obama’s incorrect answer on his law license application that the had never been known by another name than Barack Obama. Maybe it was just forgetfulness. And there is the social security number issue too, is it true that the social security number of Barack Obama is also bogus? Maybe somebody should try to look one up under Barry Soetoro and try to find immigration and naturalization papers because if they don’t exist then Barack Obama could be an illegal alien. Given the literary fame of Obama’s mother and father anybody can see that accuracy about the pedigree, er um ancestry and citizenship status is really important, especially since nobody seemed to have vetted these issues before “Obama” er um Soetoro? name went on the ballot the first time.

    • iiiii says:

What stops AZ from deporting these invaders themselves?

Buy them all coach-class tickets to the farthest-point-south in Mexico that they can, put these clowns aboard, and…

      Later, dude!

Another option would be “drive them to the fence, open a gate and shove them through, closing the gate behind them” – dang near FREE, but odds are they’ll be inside again before the AZ truck was even out of sight!

  16. Gino says:

Whereas, Mr. Obama chooses to usurp the Constitution and the rule of law the simple fix would be to offer the illegal immigrants a choice a one way bus ticket to Washington Dc. and/or incarceration with Sheriff Joe until such time as the department of immigration responds. We can be sure that Washington would face a strangle hold on it’s resources with it’s contingent of new residents.

    • Michell says:

I personally think that’s what citizens should start doing. You know your local jail is housing and feeding them waiting on ICE, rent a bus, load them up and take them to Washington and dump them out and tell them that big White House is their new home. lol

      • Gino says:

Mitchell. like the concept the only issue is that unless they have $45,000 per head to donate to Obama for reelection and/or celebrity status they won’t get past the front gate of the big White House. However, what fun for the Federal Government to feed them and house them all in the same place.

        • Michell says:

Maybe he could just send them to Nancy and she could house them in her jail that she had ready for Rove. lol
