Founder and Senior Partner Nejame, LaFay, Jancha, Ahmed, Barker & Joshi, P.A. CNN Legal Analyst

Dear Mr. NaJame, thank you for beginning to advocate for honesty in the George Zimmerman persecution.    The article posted on CNN blog challenging the Angela Corey narrative is a start.  It is only a start, but it is an important start.
The follow-up interview with Erin Burnett on CNN’s OutFront was, and is, also appreciated.  Those who hold a considerable understanding of your initial entanglement into this Trayvon Martin VS. George Zimmerman storyline can well appreciate your tenuous tightrope walking and positioning.
However, do not think for one moment that we “ever” bought the story of your refusal to take the Zimmerman defense case based on the reasoning of you preference to be a CNN commentator on the issue.
We know full well that you were far more aware of the political challenges, and the political influences that compromise the alignment of players against George Zimmerman.  Given your relationship and experience with Greg Francis, Ryan Julison, and Natalie Jackson you knew full well where this case was headed, and what strategic alignments would comprise the opposition.
You knew the NAACP and Full-Court race-baiting class was going to flex every political muscle against Mr. Zimmerman as you had previously watched unfold in the Martin Lee Anderson Case.
You knew the former prosecutor of that case, Pam Bondi, was now the Florida Attorney General.  You know of her close and influential relationship with the Governor Rick Scott, and you well know that she is friends with Trayvon Family attorney Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks from their collaboration with the ML Anderson case.
You home base is Orlando, right in the belly of this beast so to speak, and you were fully aware of “what” this case was going to turn in to.
Having said that, accept our appreciation against the backdrop of our understanding how tenuous your positioning is.    We get it.   More than any other group, we get it.
We also understand there must be a twinge of remorse/guilt for your decision to direct this hot potato and politically dangerous case toward Mark O’Mara.
You knew what the future of this case held, he did not.
But we will grant you a measure of latitude hoping one of the key reasons you placed O’Mara in this position was your knowledge of the character of O’Mara himself;  and perhaps a measure of professional confidence that he would not be crushed under the sheer combined weight of the illicit political forces he would find himself aligned against.
Perhaps this first step you chose was reflective of your desire to see justice served; only time will tell.   In the interim we will grant you the benefit of the doubt and look forward to your continued support of TRUTH in this case.
I have a hunch your girls had something to do with your decision.   Indeed, what can a man provide his children other than the uplifting knowledge of uncompromised integrity in the face of adversity.  It is obvious they are, as they should be, your world.   Nothing is as pure as a daughter’s love for her Daddy.   It is the most cherished of gifts, and carries with it the burden of being worthy, or deserving.
Integrity matters, and you are faced with professional friendships, alliances, and multi-dimensional relationships who individually have a keen interest in this case continuing down the wrongful path of injustice.    Separating yourself from the perspectives of these relationships is not easy, and carries a considerable consequence.
We understand.
We just wanted you to know that.   We understand; and we appreciate your first step.
Thanks again.
