WASHINGTON DC – The State Department contributed to heavily editing talking points surrounding the attacks that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Libya, leading to the removal of references to terror groups and CIA warnings about threats in the region, according to emails and documents obtained by ABC News.

The ABC News report says that the White House and State Department were informed by intelligence officials that the CIA was aware of potential threats to the Libyan consulate from terror groups before the attacks. But the report said references to those threats were removed from the final version of the talking points used by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice because of pressure from the State Department.

According to the network, “12 different versions of the talking points” indicate extensive editing was done after they were first drafted by the CIA.

Rice appeared on Sunday news shows following the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks and argued they were a spontaneous reaction to a video deemed offensive to Islam. The administration later admitted Rice’s claim was made with insufficient intelligence, and labeled the event an act of terror. (more…)

“Extortion 17” was the call sign for the Chinook helicopter shot down in Afghanistan on the night of August 6th, 2011.   Among the killed in the crash were 25 special operations forces, including 15 members of SEAL Team 6, five National Guard troops, and eight Afghan nationals.

Yesterday, the families of the military personnel  killed in that crash held a press conference to lay out the cover-up by Obama and the military ever since. (more…)

Given recent Orlando experience with the Casey Anthony trial verdict, Mark O’Mara is seeking to protect the jury in the George Zimmerman case from a similar fate.

The motion, filed by the defense to afford the jury protections, anonymity et al, are prudent considering the inflamed nature of the charges and sentiment surrounding the case against George Zimmerman.

Many of those concerns are outlined with specific example in the recent filing. To substantiate his request O’Mara has compiled an extensive list of exhibits attached to his motion.

ABC News obtained an ad the Republican National Committee (RNC) made last fall and approved to air in the final weeks of the presidential campaign. But they never used it…..

A source familiar with the creation of the ad says the RNC leadership approved the ad but it was scrapped at the last minute because of objections from the Romney campaign, which was concerned the ad would distract from Romney’s efforts to focus on the economy.

Romney was too afraid to win?

Bernie De La Rionda is using the blanket O’Mara discovery and witness list approach against O’Mara’s client George Zimmerman. Previously O’Mara filed a response during “witness” discovery, witness listing, which included the catch line:

“Any witness identified through State’s discovery not otherwise disclosed herein”.

What O’Mara is intending to say appeared to be the defense *may* add additional witnesses which may come to light as a result of the continual disclosure of the State’s discovery.  However, because BDLR had previously listed Shellie Zimmerman as a possible State’s Witness, the catch line tagged all current State witnesses as also defense witnesses.  Ergo, Shellie is by default now listed as a Defense witness.

Why is this important?

Because Bernie De La Rionda has a right to depose and question all of the Defense Witnesses, so if Shellie is a defense witness, then she must be forced to sit for his questioning.  It appears BDLR intends to use Shellie to injure the credibility of her husband George. (more…)

If you are a regular reader of this site you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence. But for some reason, even those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to actual beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to National Leadership.

You’d better change that thinking quickly – or you’ll be asking ‘what happened’ far too late.

There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.

It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening” because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.

“I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it.

Timing is everything, and the media production crews are very pleased with how things are coming along with recent Court cases.   Now that the Arias trial has ended, the Gosnell trial merely days away from finality, and the Tsarnaev  trial slated for sometime in the fall, that leaves a window of opportunity for George Zimmerman to take center stage this summer:

The “media” has a vested ratings, viewership and financial interest in seeing this trial take place exactly as scheduled.   Expect any request from Mark O’Mara for delay to be met with the full-throated ire of a National Media Press Corp.

The manipulative endeavors of CNN and CNNi are legendary – but this one is actually funny.

Producers at CNN apparently thought viewers  wouldn’t notice that anchors Nancy Grace of HLN/Headline News and Ashleigh  Banfield of Newsroom were standing no more than 30 feet way from one another as  they manipulated the footage and placed Grace on Banfield’s right instead of her  left.

The blatant visual gimmick aired  Tuesday  morning as the two correspondents reported on the latest details behind the  horrific Cleveland kidnapping story and pretended they were  conducting a remote  interview, as the Atlantic  Wire pointed out soon  after. (more…)

Three families of Navy SEAL Team 6 special forces servicemen, along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master terrorist’s death.
