If these reports are true Mitt Romney has just pulled out a double barreled shotgun and shot himself in both feet simultaneously.

PRIDE BEGETS THE FALL.

The Romney campaign has not invited former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to speak at the Republican convention in Tampa.  The Romney folks have not even invited her to attend the party’s premier event.   It’s no secret that Sarah Palin does not TRUST Mitt Romney to hold steadfast to constitutional small governmental principles, no-one does.   It is the same reason why Mittens became the ‘Anyone But Obama’ candidate by default after failing to get more than 40% support from self-identified Conservative Republicans during the primary season.  
If Romney disparages someone who holds the trust of the constitutional majority, well, he’s toast.
WASHINGTON DC –   On the day that Mitt Romney formally announced his run for the presidency last year, he found himself competing with a stiff New Hampshire wind, which stood his hair on end and played havoc with his microphones. What blew in later was even more distracting: the red, white, and blue bus bearing Sarah Palin on her “One Nation” tour. Two brave men memorialized in history yesterday with a new statue symbolizing freedom.
The Herald Sun reported:  POLISH officials have unveiled a statue of former President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, honouring two men widely credited in this Eastern European country with helping to topple communism 23 years ago.
The statue was unveiled in Gdansk, the birthplace of Lech Walesa’s Solidarity movement, in the presence of about 120 former Solidarity activists, many of whom were imprisoned in the 1980s for their roles in organising or taking part in strikes against the communist regime.
The bronze statue, erected in the lush seaside President Ronald Reagan Park, is a slightly larger-than-life rendering of the two late leaders.
It was inspired by an Associated Press photograph taken in 1987 on John Paul’s second pontifical visit to the US. (more…)

“Keep Hope A Lie”

(The Hill) — President Obama’s reelection campaign is making a determined and carefully calibrated effort to boost enthusiasm among black voters, a group that could swing the election in key battleground states.

Polls have Obama winning more than 90 percent of the black vote against Mitt Romney, but there are signs that the high African-American turnout that fueled his 2008 victories in North Carolina and Virginia could dissipate after the hard realities of the president’s first term.
The chances for depressed turnout are increased by the bad economy, which at its worst drove the unemployment rate for blacks above 16 percent and led to some disillusionment with the candidate of “hope and change.” (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that Mitt Romney made a “calculated move” to get booed during his address earlier in the day before the NAACP.

“I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention,” she told Bloomberg TV. (more…)

Al Sharpton proclaims that Blacks were forced to boo Mitt Romney during speech…. It’s Romney’s fault.
(Via Daily Caller) During his speech before the NAACP on Wednesday in Houston, Mitt Romney received a smattering of boos from the audience when he promised to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care reform law.

(HuffPo)  Rupert Murdoch took to Twitter on Sunday to weigh in the U.S. presidential election.

“Met Romney last week. Tough O Chicago pros will be hard to beat unless he drops old friends from team and hires some real pros. Doubtful,” he wrote.

WE ARE THE MAJORITY

If yesterday’s court decision makes no sense to you… Good! You are among those of us who thought that American liberty was protected by the Constitution.  The Constitution tells the Federal Government what power it is ALLOWED to have.  Progs see the Constitution as little more than an obstacle in their lust for power in creating a collective society.  They have worked tirelessly for the last century to slowly make it irrelevant. Yesterday, they took a giant leap forward in building the very government our Founding Fathers tried to protect us from when they gave us our Constitution.
WASHINGTON DC – Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign has raised $5.5 million since the  Supreme Court ruled that President Obama’s healthcare law is  constitutional.
Romney started raising funds immediately after the decision, and in a message to supporters Friday morning his campaign  spokeswoman said he had raised $5.5 million from 55,000 donations.

“As of this morning, we have raised $4.3 million with 43,000 donations online,” spokeswoman Andrea Saul said.   And the funds continue to come in…. (more…)
