Messaging 101 – Learn from the master Lee Atwater

Many modern-day political followers would proclaim that no modern-era President or politician was ever as hated as George W Bush.

Against the backdrop of visible hate they might just be right.

However, against the ideology of defining hate level by the strength of the hater, more people still would attach the “most hated” label to Karl Rove.

Each contingent might just be right; it is, quite simply and historically, too early to tell.

However, I would argue the most hated, and subsequently most influential, man is actually the person who gave rise to both Karl Rove and George W Bush, Lee Atwater.

Lee Atwater was the mentor for Karl Rove, and subsequently under his tutelage “The architect” was born. Were it not for the messaging system of Karl Rove, learned at the knee of the master Atwater, few would doubt the 2004 electoral victory of Dubya.

But what made Lee Atwater so darned good is exactly what is needed right now.    It was Atwater who helped bring Ronald Reagan to victory against Jimmy Carter.   A look at Atwater’s messaging style could seriously benefit today’s patriots. (more…)

Morale – Actions Speak Louder Than Polls

(via MoonBattery) Collectivists are fond of indulging in their perception of themselves as intellectually superior to their individualist opponents. No doubt they think they are much better read. Yet when the libs at Amazon put together an “election heat map” indicating which states are reading red (conservative) versus blue (moonbatty) books, the result was a countermoonbat landslide:

Only six states are selling more liberal books bought than conservative titles: Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, New York and DC. DC is the bluest of the blue states, with 78% of political purchases coming in blue, topped by Barack Obama’s own two titles, Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope. (more…)

Unfavorable Prediction For President Obama From Liberal University

It must be painful for the liberal base of the punditry to read this article provided by the Huffington Post.   It points out the same predictive pattern that correctly anticipated electoral victory for the past 30 years.   It also affirms what the institutional progressive, legacy-minded media do not want to acknowledge, President Obama will be defeated – resoundingly.

The key to crushing the ideological leftists who are hell-bent on deconstructing the national American identity is voting, just voting.   If a representative turnout shows up on Nobember 6th President Obama and the ideological liberals will be crushed.  Just like they were in 2010 which led to this electoral victory map for conservatives:

(Via HuffPo)  Two University of Colorado professors, one from Boulder and one from Denver, have put together an Electoral College forecast model to predict who will win the 2012 presidential election and the result is bad news for Barack Obama. The model points to a Mitt Romney victory in 2012.

Ken Bickers from CU-Boulder and Michael Berry from CU-Denver, the two political science professors who devised the prediction model, say that it has correctly forecast every winner of the electoral race since 1980. (more…)

Romney “Hot” in Coal Country – Ohio

BEALLSVILLE, Ohio — Mitt Romney today stood in front of eastern Ohioans seemingly straight out of the mine — hard hats, smudged faces, and blue and gray uniforms — as he accused President Obama of “waging war” on coal.

“He’s for all the sources of energy that come from above the ground, none of the sources below the ground, like oil and coal and gas,” the presumptive Republican nominee told a crowd outside American Energy Corp’s Century Mine near Beallsville, Belmont County.

“I’m for all of the above, whether it comes from above the ground or below the ground,” he said. “We’re going to take advantage of our energy resources to save your jobs, create more jobs, and, by the way, when we use our plentiful energy resources, our inexpensive carbon-based resources, you’re going to see manufacturing come back to America…,” he said. 716 Billion Reasons Why Republicans Are Annoying….

Traditionally speaking Republicans are insufferably inept at messaging; the messaging on the Ryan Budget is a great example of their ineptitude.

President Obama takes $716 Billion out of the Medicare Program via expenditures and reimbursements to medical providers.   This is a factual consequence of “Obamacare”.  It is not disputed.   While the argument they should face, and be held to account for, is about “impact”, the factual reality of the shift of the money stands as a consequence of Obamacare and the Romney/Ryan team is correct to hold President Obama accountable for it.

However, the counter point from the Obama campaign is to continually point out that in Paul Ryan’s budget proposal he also maintained these same $716 billion reductions.  Subsequently they frame the Ryan budget as hypocritical.    This is where Republicans suck. (more…)

Sununu Tells O’Brien – “Put An Obama Bumper Sticker On your Head”…..

Against the backdrop of the prior post, now listen to CNN’s Soledad O’Brien quote her sources as “independent CNN fact checkers”, while Sununu tells her to go put an Obama bumper sticker on her forehead....

Ya just can’t make this stuff up; and yet the majority, yes the majority, believe there is credibility in the media.   Unreal.
