Another College Area Thrill Killing? St. Louis

All the similar “flags” are there to consider this a “Thrill Kill”.   1.) The attacker was black;  2) the victim was white;  3) no known motive, nothing was taken;  and  4) the media are calling it a the familiar “potential botched robbery” because they have no other motive they are comfortable discussing.

The media will not report on Thrill Kills, Thrill Beatings, Or Thrill Mobs who perpetrate crimes against people for thug self-described reasoning:   “to express themselves,” “to get their name up” and “to be remembered.”

(HuffPo)  The murder of a recent college graduate in St. Louis this weekend appears to be the result of a botched robbery, police said Monday.

Megan Boken was shot twice in her parked Volkswagen in the city’s Central West End neighborhood, a low-crime area close to St. Louis University, where Boken had played volleyball and from which she graduated in 2011. She died at a nearby hospital of wounds to her neck and chest.

The shooting happened in broad daylight at roughly 2:15 on Saturday afternoon. (more…)

Mob Thrill Beating – Motive? “For the fun of it” Because “We were bored”…. Cincinnati, Ohio (With Video)

Six teens arrested recently in the Cincinnati suburb of North College Hill for beating 45-year-old Pat Mahaney told police they ambushed the man for the fun of it because they were bored.

(Cincinnati.com)   […] The first five arrestees were: twin brothers Tyree and Terrell Mizzell, Lamont Champion and Daquan Cain, all 13-year-olds; and Michael E. James, 14.  The sixth and final suspect was arrested Tuesday. His name was not immediately available Wednesday.

All except one have been released from Hamilton County’s juvenile detention center and are on house arrest at their parents’ residences, court officials said.

The teens are scheduled for trial Aug. 24.

Mother of the Mizzell twins, Latasha Alford, 32, said that while not excusing her sons’ actions, they did feel peer pressure to go along with the other boys.

“They are deeply sorry for what happened,” she said. “They do feel bad. They do realize what they did was wrong.”

When police rounded up most of the teens, took them back to the police station and questioned them, they admitted Mahaney had done nothing to provoke being kicked and punched repeatedly in the face while he was helpless on the ground. (more…)

Guilty Verdict in UK Honor Killing – Shafilea Ahmed Murdered By Her Parents…

(Britainistan)  The parents of Shafilea Ahmed have been jailed for life after being convicted of her murder.  The 17-year-old went missing from her home in Warrington, Cheshire, in 2003 and her body was found in the River Kent in Cumbria six months later.

Iftikhar, 52, and Farzana Ahmed, 49, had denied her murder but the jury at Chester Crown Court returned guilty verdicts against them both.  Mr Justice Roderick Evans said they would both serve a minimum of 25 years.

The judge told them: “Your concern about being shamed in your community was greater than the love of your child.”

The couple suffocated Shafilea with a plastic bag after years of abuse.

After the trial. Det Supt Geraint Jones described the killing as a “vile and disgraceful act against someone they should have been very proud of”. (more…)

One Step Closer To The Trinity of Evil – Egypt President Morsi to Visit Iran

If this report is true, and an alliance is formed, two of the three countries needed to restore the Islamic Caliphate will be partnered.   The necessary “trinity” is Iran, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.   Prediction:  If radical Islamist elements in Egypt and Iran align they will turn their collaborative efforts toward destabilizing Saudi.

Yemen below them, Bahrain beside them, and Kuwait above them, are all precariously balanced and ready to tip with minimal effort.

CAIRO (AP) — Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi will attend a summit in Iran later this month, a presidential official said on Saturday, the first such trip for an Egyptian leader since relations with Tehran deteriorated decades ago.

The visit could mark a thaw between the two countries after years of enmity, especially since Egypt signed its 1979 peace treaty with Israel and Iran underwent its Islamic revolution. Under Morsi’s predecessor Hosni Mubarak, Egypt, predominantly Sunni Muslim, sided with Saudi Arabia and other Sunni-dominated Arab states in trying to isolate Shiite-led Iran.

Until now, contacts have been channeled through interest sections, a low-level form of diplomatic representation. In May last year, Egypt, which was ruled by an interim military council, expelled a junior Iranian diplomat on suspicion he tried to set up spy rings in Egypt and the Gulf countries. (more…)

Hiding The Sun With Two Fingers – Afghani Ministry of Truth reveals new schoolbooks: The USSR never invaded, the US never invaded, the Taliban never existed, we have always been at war with Eastasia

Afghanistan’s government is rewriting history, literally.  The education ministry has endorsed a new history curriculum for school students that deletes nearly four decades of the country’s war-torn past.

The government says textbooks based on the new curriculum will help bring unity in a country traditionally polarised along ethnic and political lines.

But critics accuse ministers of trying to appease the Taliban and other powerful groups by erasing history that portrays them in a bad light. They say the government is trying to win over the Taliban before Nato and US forces leave the country. (more…)

Pompous Circumstance – The Arbitrary Discriminations of The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Here is a typical example of unmasked progressivity running amok.   In Atlanta Georgia the symphony orchestra has decided not to allow the previous high schools choruses to perform with them because they are not “racially diverse enough” to warrant participation.   Apparently that means they are demographically “too white”.

However, in the strangest, well, not really strange – more like typical,  fashion the Symphony itself refuses to self-describe their own diversity.   So, after reading this article, well, actually after reading the  comment from the “Director of Communications“,  I just had to go look at the ethnic makeup of the Symphony itself.

“It is against our policy to share the race and/or ethnicity of our musicians, so I am unable to share that information.”

Subsequently a review of the entire orchestra make up, including conductors, shows they have one, yes one, black person (Brass Section – Stephen Wilson).  Yup, as expected, the hypocritical slips of the pontificating musical progs are showing.

Walton High School ChorusCOBB COUNTY, Ga. — After a four-year partnership, two suburban Cobb County high school choruses will not be performing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra [ASO] this coming fall.

That’s because they’ve been told they are not racially diverse enough.

The Walton High School Chorus has received many honors and performed all over the world.  So, too, has the Lassiter High School Chorus.  But they won’t be back with the ASO for a joint holiday concert this coming December. (more…)

Oh No She Didn’t….

Saint Louis FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOV) – Paramedics treated a server at a Red Lobster in Fairview Heights on Friday after a customer threw a water glass at her head.  It happened at the Red Lobster in the 110 block of Ludwig Drive around 2 p.m.

Of Course They Did…. Ecuador grants asylum to WikiLeaks’ Assange

( CNN ) — Ecuador granted Julian Assange asylum over fears of political persecution Thursday, but it was hardly a reprieve as Britain vowed to extradite the WikiLeaks founder to Sweden to face questioning on sex crime charges.

Assange, the publisher of hundreds of thousands of secret U.S. government documents, has been holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since June.

Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño said Thursday there is credible fear that if Assange is sent to Sweden, he could be subsequently be extradited to the United States, where he could be charged with espionage and treason. (more…)

AP Reports: Family Research Council Shooter A Liberal Activist, Volunteered With Left-Wing Groups, and Had 15 Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches In His Bag…

The insufferable media bias on this shooting is beyond incredulous.  The Lame Institutional Legacy Media are  working overtime trying to sweep this story under the rug.

Think about how much different this would have been if he was a Tea Partier…..   it would be wall-to-wall round-the-clock coverage and front page “Terror” headlines.

The Liberal Shooter:  28-year-old Floyd Lee Corkins II from Virginia

WASHINGTON DC –  The man who is alleged to have shot a security guard yesterday at the offices of the pro-life group Family Research Council has been formally charged and new FBI documents present more information.

A man posing as an intern shot the guard, Leo Johnson, at the FRC office located at 801 G Street, NW. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins confirmed the security officer was shot and said in a statement, “The police are investigating this incident. Our first concern is with our colleague who was shot today. Our concern is for him and his family.”

Additional reports show Johnson was a hero and worked with other guards to apprehend the shooter before more people were attacked. The suspect, a 28-year-old male from Virginia named Floyd Lee Corkins II, said, “Don’t shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for.” AP later confirmed that Corkins is a liberal activist who volunteers with a left-wing group in the D.C. area.
