You just can’t make this stuff up.

The attorney, the civil attorney Benjamin Crump, the Martin family hired to pursue financial justice against various interests in the Trayvon Martin shooting is now fighting to stop his deposition about the circumstances surrounding the very witness, “DeeDee” (W8) that he identified to create the arrest affidavit that frames the entire cause for financial justice, vis-a-vi arrest/trial, which lead to the civil claims he desires, and are contained in the probable cause affidavit.

Talk about ridiculous circular logic.

Subsequently, the attorney representing and attempting to hide Benjamin Crump, now argues the defense is not asserting any affirmations of contradictions between the initial phone interview with Crump and DeeDee (ABC March 19th Broadcast), and the statement she gave to the State of Florida in her affidavit April 2nd [page 4 footnote #7].

Interesting linked article to an interview with Mark O’Mara on the open thread.    At the risk of pointing out the obvious, and simultaneously upsetting the followers who believe in Mark O’Mara, may I just, well, point out the obvious.   Mark O’Mara is seeking the fame and professional notoriety that comes with a massive public trial.  

Mark O’Mara did not trip into this case, he was delivered into the case by his friend and colleague Mark Nejame.   [Collective goal to be amid Orlando’s “Power 100” – Alongside fellow power player John Morgan (see Charlie Crist, Greg Francis, Ryan Julison et al)].

From the article:    To an outside observer, O’Mara and other attorneys say, a combination hearing-trial would likely look a lot like a normal trial: A jury would be selected, and the state and defense would present their cases.  But once that’s done, the jury would be placed in limbo while the defense tries to convince the judge to end the case herself. ORLANDO, FL – Defense attorneys have deposed Chris Serino, lead investigator in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder case, according to court paperwork released today.

It’s not clear what he said, but Serino is likely to be an important witness at Zimmerman’s trial.

The former investigator publicly said the Sanford Police Department never had enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with a crime while quietly filing paperwork with the State Attorney’s Office, saying he believed there was enough to charge him with manslaughter. (more…)
