When we wrote the Benghazi Brief we walked through almost two years of research data from February 2011 through September 2012.   The brief describes the who’s, what’s, where, when and why of everything up to 9/11/12.

However, we did not have the specific “why” of the actual attack itself.   Recent document releases fill in that aspect:

WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is officially running for Speaker following demands he made of House Republicans this week to unify behind him.

Ryan said he would not run for Speaker unless all three of the major House GOP factions endorsed him: the hardline Freedom Caucus, conservative Republican Study Committee and centrist Tuesday Group:

Fox News will immediately dispatch their legions to begin proclaiming the end of Donald Trump’s campaign.  This poll (pdf below) seems rather odd considering Ben Carson has not been gathering big crowds in Iowa, meanwhile Trump sells out every venue.  Odd.

It would appear that Donald Trump has locked up the entire Scott Brown coalition in Massachusetts.  A new poll from Emerson University (full pdf below) shows Trump with a whopping 48% of the electorate supporting his campaign.

Boston (Oct. 20, 2015) A new statewide poll suggests the state’s Republican primary race is Donald Trump’s to lose. With 48% of the vote, Trump is trouncing Dr. Ben Carson (14%) and Marco Rubio (12%). (more…)

CNBC Has just announced the debate lineup for the next GOP Debate on October 28th.  The RNC sanctioned debate will be held at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado Boulder and broadcast live on CNBC at 8pm/EST:

Via CNBC – Today marks the close of the five-week window for determining eligibility based on national polls. The results were based on methodically sound and recognized national polls conducted by NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, CNN and Bloomberg. The debate will be divided into two parts. (more…)
