Important to remember two points:   #1)  The attack happened at 3:40 pm Washington DC time on 9/11 and lasted til around Midnight DC time.   AND #2)  The Tactical Operations Command officer was in immediate contact with Washington DC, “in real time”.

So Chris Wallace is asking about the following day, on Wednesday 9/12.   Did President Obama meet with Security Council, or National Security and discuss attack?

Early in the Benghazi Consulate attack several news sources began showing aerial pictures of the Benghazi compound.   Most of them look similar.

The pictures describe the same thing as the “official State Dept. Description” of the consulate compound being 300 x 100 yards. But something doesn’t add up (more…)

Weapons Of Misdirection

This story is growing more curious by the day.   As each new factual aspect is placed in the puzzle the picture becomes more clear; and stronger evidence for an attempted, albeit botched, kidnapping attempt comes to the surface.

Bookmark this official State Dept. Briefing/Report – Conference Call, because we are going to be referencing it until any more updated “Official Reporting” comes out.   But right now this official story has more holes than Swiss Cheese:

The group in Benghazi makes a decision to move to a new location. They move to a couple of places, and by August they settle on a large compound which is where the actual activity on 9/11 took place. If they didn’t set up shop at the compound til August, then how come there was an IED explosion there in June?    When the perimeter wall was blown up and a hole big enough for 40 men was created. (more…)

This was predictable. See the below Huffington Post article intended to create cover in advance of the Second Presidential Debate tomorrow. Their Goal is to make discussing the Benghazi attack seem like political opportunism, thereby stopping Mitt Romney from leveraging it against President Obama with honest questions.

I hate the Media.

(HuffPo) The father of Christopher Stephens, the United States ambassador who was killed in the attack in Libya last month, said Saturday that it would be “abhorrent” for his son’s death to be politicized in the presidential campaign.

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Jan Stevens said the attack on Benghazi and the ensuing investigation has no place in the upcoming election.

“The security matters are being adequately investigated,” Stevens, who is getting briefings from the State Department on the investigation, said. “We don’t pretend to be experts in security. It has to be objectively examined. That’s where it belongs. It does not belong in the campaign arena.”

Since the September 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Mitt Romney has been critical of President Obama’s response to the tragedy, slamming the president for lapses in security at the American compound. (more…)

Sorry to be so blunt but this is INTENTIONAL MANIPULATIVE LYING by a Dem Operative following a chosen directive from the Obama administration.

The Libyan diplomatic corp had specifically requested security for Benghazi:

[…]  The House letter also says that multiple U.S. federal government officials confirmed they made repeated requests for better security in Benghazi, but their requests were denied by officials in Washington.

This is what it looks like when Alinskyites are caught red handed.  No lie is too big to spew, no truth is to important to stretch.  The needle on the BS meter pings and breaks off.   They just don’t care.   They will do anything, say anything, and position anyone and anything just to retain power at all costs.   They don’t care.

Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Grandholm, now a paid media pundit, is lying with a purpose. She is disgustingly telling flat out lies in order to cover for the Obama administration and create smoke screens for them to hide behind.

Now that we have the Official State Department moment by moment statement of what took place in Benghazi, Libya, there are SERIOUS issues with the divergent stories.

For the sake of this discussion thread lets focus on clarity and try to cut through the spin.

First, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice was elevated to a cabinet level position by President Obama.  Susan Rice works for the White House, not the State Dept.   For the sake of understanding the difference, it’s easiest to say that Ambassador Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton are equals in the eyes of the administration.   Ambassador Rice does not report to Secretary Clinton, she reports to President Obama directly as a member of his cabinet.  Period.

So when Susan Rice was selling the Muhammed Movie protest narrative, she was doing so on behalf of the President, not the State Dept.   Someone in the media needs to call out this distinction and stop allowing the White House to obfuscate. (more…)

Many people are surprised to see Hillary Clinton doubling down on supporting what has become a Radical Islamist uprising. We’re not. This is to be expected from the woman who joined forces with Samantha Power to push “rebel” support in Libya.

Quite simply, if you cut to the chase it is the Liberal anti-Israel mindset. We outlined it here.  And gave the reason for it HERE

The ideology, which by the way is the same as Jimmy Carter, has no conception of unintended consequences. If the Muslim Brotherhood rise, meh, no biggie, their choice. If Israel is isolated and comes under attack, oh well, their issue. If the Taliban/Salafists and Radical Islamists beat, abuse and punish women, not our issue.
