Is this a setback to freedom?  Yes.   Is this unexpected?  No.

We have shared from the beginning that ‘These people were not going to give up’ – They simply are in too deep and unable to retreat.  From the outset of the “case” against George Zimmerman a few things were brutally obvious.

First, from a legal perspective, there was no merit, nor evidence, to prosecute George Zimmerman.   The same evidence that existed on March 16th, and again on March 23rd, when it was announced by Police Chief Bill Lee and Detective Serino that “no evidence to refute Mr. Zimmerman’s self defense claim is available”, is still retained today.

Not one scintilla of evidence has surfaced from that date.    The evidence against George Zimmerman is non-existent.   Yet he was still charged to appease the race-baiting and perpetually aggrieved sub-sects of political interests.   The case against George Zimmerman is entirely political.

So why would a politically appointed judge remove himself?   He wouldn’t.

As the Orlando Sentinel notes in their story of the non-recusal:

In a bond order, Lester described Zimmerman as a manipulator who was gaming the criminal justice system by hiding $130,000 and keeping a secret passport.

The judge wrote in that earlier order that if not for a satellite monitoring system keeping track of his whereabouts, Zimmerman might well have fled.

Neither of these propaganda opinions are supported by facts.  They scream bias;  However, they were then, as they are now, opinionated talking points that enjoy consistent media-hype and manipulative use. (more…)

The Associated Press has called the race for Cruz over Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. Cruz will be a heavy favorite over Democratic nominee Paul Sadler, who also won a runoff on Tuesday.

Cruz, an emerging conservative star whose father emigrated to the United States from Cuba, has drawn comparisons to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and has been lauded by national conservative political pundits and groups for over a year. His victory is a major blow to the Republican establishment in Texas, which lined up squarely behind Dewhurst. This is why we cannot accept “decepticons” as representatives.  Anwar Sadat was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.   The terrorist organization was banned for almost 30 years before the “arab spring” created the window of opportunity for the radical islamist elements to rise once again.

Here you have a Republican, with little to no knowledge of the actual events within Egypt supporting an organization who just released known terrorists from prison.  Well, at least we assume his opinion is due to insufferable niavete’.  If not, then this guy is a stealth Islamofascist hiding in Californiastan...

David Dreier (R-Calif.), who chairs the House Democracy Partnership and witnessed Egypt’s historic presidential election firsthand in May, called on the United States to continue to work with Egypt as it continues its transition toward democracy, even though it is now led by the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Knowing of the harsh and deeply troubling rhetoric the Brotherhood has used over the years, many Americans rightly ask the question: Can we work with the newly elected leadership in Egypt?” he asked. “Should we continue to provide support to this government and the Egyptian people? We have outlined many recent examples of Prog ideology regarding freedom and choice.  From the “you didn’t build that” of President Obama, to the “we know best” of Mayor Bloomberg.   But this recent example provides the greatest clarity and lifts any remaining clouds of doubt:

Former Speaker of the House and current Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told an audience of more than 600 college students last week that President Obama has signed many “expansions of freedom” into law since he took office in 2008.

Pelosi, speaking at a youth conference hosted by the George Soros funded Campus Progress, said the President’s work with health care best illustrates his agenda to increase civil liberties for American citizens.

“Central to all is the Affordable Care Act, which we think is about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” said Pelosi. “A healthier life, for liberty, to pursue your happiness.”

The former Speaker also listed new laws pertaining to hate crimes and Don’t Ask Don’t tell as examples of legislation that has expanded American freedoms.

You wouldn’t know it from the Lame Stream Legacy Media but Mitt Romney was a HUGE hit in Israel this week.   His speeches were to rousing standing ovations, massive crowds and an incredible amount of support and appreciation.   Israelis are optimistic and hopeful the cloud of President Obama’s pro-Israel deceptions are soon to be removed.

So right on cue the Democrat leadership spearheaded by Nancy Pelosi, and the water-carrying media -using soon to be defunct Newsweek- join with Robert Gibbs and David Alexrod to begin an all out assault on Mitt Romney.    The alinsky tactics are entirely too predictable anymore.  

ISRAEL – Mitt Romney on Sunday declared Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel and said he would seek to move the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv as president if the Israeli government ascents.

“A nation has the capacity to choose its own capital city, and Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee said in an interview on CNN, conducted in Jerusalem. “I think it’s long been the policy to ultimately have our embassy in the nation’s capital of Jerusalem.”

Romney gave several televised interviews and delivered a speech in Jerusalem during a trip to Israel aimed at emphasizing his ties to the close U.S. ally and boosting his support among Jewish Americans and supporters of Israel. (more…)

First The White House, well, more specifically President Obama uses an executive order, intentionally non-reported by the media, to give the DHS full control over all privately owned communication networks nationally.  Cell phone, internet, and land based telecommunications.

Then the White House authorizes, (again by non-media reported executive order) the regime enforcement branch (DHS) to use military spy drones for use in all areas of ‘national importance’ to enforce “citizen safety“.

Following, and in preparation for, the regime enforcement branch (DHS) orders 450 million, yes million, hollowpoint bullets.     While ammunition itself seems not too unreasonable of a request by a major federal entity that emphasizes domestic durability and safeguarding the country from coast to coast, the choice — and quantity — of its hollow point order raises a lot of questions about future plans for the DHS.

ATK says they won their contract with the US government by being able to provide them with 450 million HST bullets, which it describes as “the next generation in high performance duty ammunition.”

What does that mean, exactly? On their website, the contractor claims that the ammunition is specifically designed so that it can pass through a variety of obstructions and offers “optimum penetration for terminal performance.” Or, in other words, this is the kind of bullet designed to stop any object dead in its tracks and, if emptied into the hands of the DHS a few hundred million times, just might do as much.

The regime then quietly (february) demands a control enforcement mechanism nullifying the 2nd Amendment in any proximity to a federal government official.  –  The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347  (Feb) a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. Talk about a potential disaster….  Given all the recent revelations about Pam Bondi’s sheer lack of integrity, insufferable manipulation and self-serving political stupidity, I guess nothing should surprise anyone anymore.   But this is ridiculous…  Even the possibility being put ‘out there’ is reason enough to question the judgment of the Romney campaign.   Sheeeesh….

(via Business Insider)  As Mitt  Romney draws closer to a decision about his 2012 running mate,  speculation about who the Republican presidential candidate will select to be  his No. 2 has reached a fever pitch.

Romney is expected to make the announcement sometime after he  returns from overseas next week. In the meantime, his campaign  has launched a major surrogate blitz, dispatching seven of the most  buzzed-about VP contenders to rally Romney supporters in swing states.

But this afternoon, the campaign added a surprise name to the  list: Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. (more…)

The frustrating thing from my truthseeker perspective is the seeming unwillingness of the media sorts to ask the obvious question:   Why change attorneys between the arrest/bonding ($1000) hearing and the plea?   What happened?

HatTip arkansasmimi  ORLANDO – Shellie Zimmerman says she’s not guilty of perjury.  Her new attorney, Kelly B. Sims, today filed paperwork, entering that plea on her behalf. That means that she won’t have to show up at the Seminole County criminal building Tuesday for arraignment.

Zimmerman, 25, is accused of lying when she told Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr., while under oath, that she and her husband were broke.

At the time, prosecutors allege they had ready access to $130,000, money donated by supporters of her husband, murder defendant George Zimmerman.

Friday was the first time Sims, a board-certified criminal-trial specialist, was identified as Shellie Zimmerman’s lawyer. The Orlando attorney has been practicing in Florida for more than 20 years and has worked on high-profile cases in the past. (more…)
