A recent CIA “press briefing” has led to a new, but not unexpected, evolutionary narrative explaining the insufferable incompetence and obfuscation surrounding the Benghazi slaughter.

What better administrative “cover” for the falsehoods, lies and intentional administrative spin on the murders of four Americans than to hide behind the guise of the Central Intelligence Agency.   Vis-a-vi:  “we had to lie because it was all secret and stuff”… Seriously?   So this is the strategy now to hide the incompetence?

GWP – FOX News is reporting that only 2,800 came out to see Barack Obama this morning, the Friday before the election, in Hilliard, Ohio.  Meanwhile… The Romney campaign just informed me that four thousand supporters flocked to see Mitt Romney at the Wisconsin State Fair Park today… And another thousand supporters were FORCED TO STAND OUTSIDE! It really is brutally obvious at this point; so obvious in fact that few could even attempt to discharge or ignore the point.

To think that a few years ago people never understood the filter in front of their eyes. Thank goodness for the internet, research, and honesty. I digress… we continue….

The latest example was evident last night on the Erin Burnett show, “Out Front”, when she engaged the Benghazi story with an “exclusive” of sorts.

(From Douglass J Hagman @CFP) According to the U.S. government, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during a spontaneous protest at the consulate office in Benghazi by a frenzied crowd of Muslims outraged over an obscure internet video. Recently released “sensitive but not classified e-mails” from Stevens to the U.S. Department of State painted a picture of poor security for U.S. personnel and the embassy, which was obviously true but had little to do with the events of September 11, 2012.

The failure to dispatch an extraction team or otherwise rescue the men during a firefight that lasted upwards of nine grueling and tortuous hours was not the result of any intelligence failure, but caused by our unwillingness to widen the conflict and expose the nature and scale of our true mission in Benghazi. (CNSNews.com) – The White House is declining to say when President Barack Obama first  learned of three e-mails that the State Department sent to the White  House on Sept. 11, 2012, directly notifying the Executive Office of the  President that the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was under attack, that  U.S. Amb. Chris Stevens was at the Benghazi mission at the time of the  attack, and that the group Ansar al-Sharia had taken credit for the  attack.

The White House also declined to say when the president first met with the National Security Council after the Benghazi attack.

“I have been asked by one of our spokespeople to relay ‘that we  decline to comment,’” said White House National Security Staff aide  Debbie Bird in a written response to CNSNews.com.

Not only did they lie – They Watched Them Die

(Reuters) – Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.

The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.

The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington. (more…)

CBS Report: U.S. Had Predator Drone Over Benghazi As Attack Happened, “They Stood, And They Watched, And Our People Died”…  […]

CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle.

The State Department, White House and Pentagon declined to say what military options were available.  (more…)

Americans Died – Obama Lied

WASHINGTON (AP) – The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S. (more…)
