HatTip to Senator Lyndsey Graham who finally points out the primary problem with the White House hiding behind the CIA angle to the Benghazi story.

A recent CIA “press briefing” has led to a new, but not unexpected, evolutionary narrative explaining the insufferable incompetence and obfuscation surrounding the Benghazi slaughter.

As we pointed out the White House in general, and President Obama specifically, intentionally shifted the deflection narrative to hide behind the CIA, and secrets, with the Benghazi story. Both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times were utilized along with CNN’s Suzanne Kelly to claim the State Department was a cover story for the CIA activity on the ground. In essence the White House claimed that the CIA was in control of Benghazi operations INCLUDING THE SECURITY.

The White House and Administration used the New York Times, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal to sell their spin. But we, along with many others including Bing West, were not buying it.  As Bing West wrote: (more…)

Perfect.   This announcement comes just moments before President Obama is expected to hold a press conference (around 1pm) about his Term Two agenda and possible questions about Benghazi.

Again, the most important aspect to any discussion of events and research comes back to the timeline.   Petraeus gave his testimony briefing on Sept. 14th.  More after the video:

Transcript: I think the really shocking news today was that General Petraeus thought and hoped he could keep his job. He thought that it might and it would be kept secret, and that he could stay in his position. I think what that tells us is really important.

It meant that he understood that the FBI obviously knew what was going on. He was hoping that those administration officials would not disclose what had happened, and therefore hoping that he would keep his job. And that meant that he understood that his job, his reputation, his legacy, his whole celebrated life was in the hands of the administration, and he expected they would protect him by keeping it quiet. Condi Rice approaches three perspectives:  1.) what was the breakdown in security leading up to the attack on 9/11.   2.)  What took place during that 8 or 9 hours when the State Dept. had a “real time” feed of activity.   3.)  Why was there a White House breakdown in communicating the reason for the attack.

Remember the White House GOAL: 1.) Move current opinion of Gen Petraeus 2.) Use CIA Angle as cover for misleading information.  3.)  Take no responsibility for the lies and falsehoods.    Think of advancing their objectives like advancing a football in the game toward the Goal line:

Each Administration player, including Media “special teams” (See Michael Hastings and CNN Suzanne Kelly) will have a specific goal in advancing the narrative of protection for the Administration.   Remember: “How to win the game”?  Isolate => Ridicule => Marginalize.

We have watched this woman closely for the past three years.   While this comes as no surprise, it is staggeringly ridiculous.

Susan Rice was elevated to Cabinet Level Status by President Obama;  Essentially granting her U.N. Ambassador position the same administration level and authority as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton throughout the first term – However, most people do not know that.

Susan Rice is part of the anti-Israel contingent within the Administration – the most notable recent evidence of this was her listening intently to Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad deliver a speech belittling The United States, yet vacating the UN during Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech.  

However, Rice has a history, a profound history of ineptitude.  It was Susan Rice who attended a Global Warming Summit instead of meeting with the United Nations Emergency Security Council in Feb 2010 regarding Libya.   MUST READ CATCH UP ARTICLE – Canada FreePress:

As best we can understand the evolving narrative here is what it looks like:

Jill and Dr. Scott Kelley live in the Tampa / St. Pete area.  They are active in the military community with support for military families.   The Kelley’s do numerous fundraisers etc. and when Petraeus was assigned to station in Tampa the Kelley’s hosted a meet-n-greet with Holly and David Petraeus.  Mr and Mrs. Petraeus became friends with Mr. and Mrs. Kelley.

So Jill Kelley, a Petraeus family friend, began receiving odd and harrassing e-mails about her relationship with CIA director General David Petraeus:

“More like, ‘Who do you think you are? … You parade around the base … You need to take it down a notch,’” according to the source, who was until recently at the highest levels of the intelligence community and prefers not to be identified by name.

Kelley then reaches out to a family friend who is by profession in the FBI.   She asks if these unsourced e-mails reach the level of cyber-stalking. (more…)

No Paula, something tells me no one except you had actually heard this…..

ISRAEL NEWS – Military expert Paula Broadwell, who was allegedly improperly involved with resigned CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, confirmed in October that the CIA annex in Benghazi asked for reinforcements when the consulate came under attack on September 11. She also acknowledged that “there was a failure in the system.”

Broadwell was speaking at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on October 26. Her lecture, which is on YouTube under the title “Alumni Symposium 2012 Paula Broadwell,” now has added value, because based on the recent disclosures, it can now be assumed that she indeed knew exactly what it was that Petraeus knew about the attack. (The Hill)  The FBI reportedly happened upon former CIA Director David Petraeus’s extramarital affair while investigating a complaint from a woman close to Petraeus who had received harassing emails from the general’s alleged mistress.

The FBI traced those emails back to Paula Broadwell, a former military officer and Petraeus’s biographer, according to news reports. When law enforcement officials delved into her email account, it was apparent Broadwell and Petraeus were engaged in an affair.

The identity of the woman who filed the original complaint has not been disclosed. (more…)

Ronald Kessler, Chief Washington correspondent for Newsmax, and author of the news-breaking article on the affair, spoke with Harris Faulkner tonight regarding what he thinks are several layers of cover-up.

“There are several cover-ups going on here. One is the claim that the President Obama was not aware of what was going on with the FBI investigation… Simply look at the facts. Is there any way the FBI would launch an investigation on the CIA Director without telling the president? The second cover-up was the fact that the FBI was told to hold off on this until after the election. I was told in early October that the FBI was outraged about this… It started in a very strange way. The FBI came across emails on his military email account in which he referred to doing something under the desk. And there was a misinterpretation that that meant corruption, something under the table. It actually meant sex under the desk.“
