(From WaPo via WZ)  – Obama Backs Harry Reid’s Efforts To Change Senate’s Filibuster Rules:   President Obama supports Senate Majority Harry Reid’s efforts to reform the filibuster, a White House spokesman said Wednesday.

“The President has said many times that the American people are demanding action,” White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer told The Huffington Post. “They want to see progress, not partisan delay games. That hasn’t changed, and the President supports Senator Reid’s efforts to reform the filibuster process.” (more…)

The initial “Virginia-Pilot” attack happened on April 14th 2012 – During the height of the media coverage over the Trayvon Martin story.   Since then the police in Norfolk Virginia have refused to release the audio recording of the frantic 911 call placed by Marjon Rostami as she and her friend and colleague, David Forster, were being beaten by a group of black teenagers.

Perhaps the Police and media are waging a war of attrition, counting on the new media forgetting the attack.    Alas, they underestimate our resolve.    Where are the Tapes? 

Imagine if the races were reversed and a group of up to 100 white youth viciously assaulted two innocent black people driving through town after seeing a movie.   Do you think anyone would accept the police refusal to release the multiple 911 recordings?  (more…)

Anyone else noticing a trend here……

BOSTON – A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on a cross is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston.

The painting by Michael D’Antuono is part of a larger exhibit called “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” It’s on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15^th.

The painting is called “Truth” – and shows the president on the cross with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head. (more…)

(Forbes)  […] Two factors determine whether a state makes this elite list of fiscal hellholes. The first is whether it has more takers than makers. A taker is someone who draws money from the government, as an employee, pensioner or welfare recipient. A maker is someone gainfully employed in the private sector.

Let us give those takers the benefit of our sympathy and assume that every single one of them is a deserving soul. This person is either genuinely needy or a dedicated public servant or the recipient of a well-earned pension.

But what happens when these needy types outnumber the providers? Taxes get too high. Prosperous citizens decamp. Employers decamp. That just makes matters worse for the taxpayers left behind. (more…)

… She said she was honored to meet Obama, but she is also frustrated that she has yet to receive help from either her insurance companies or the government. “The president told me I would get immediate help,” she said.

Watch – Most Media portrayed Egypt’s President Morsi as overreaching his power last week and demanded he enact a constitution that protects the legislative rights of the minority….. Meanwhile this week the same media will exhault Harry Reid for his magnanimous strategy to subvert constitutional limitations as “progress”…. Just watch.

The day after the election we outlined the expectations from the next Congress, specifically what Harry Reid WOULD do.  The elimination of vote approval threshold (formerly 3/5ths or 60 votes) to a simple majority in the Senate (half plus one or 51 votes) is one aspect.   The other aspect is the elimination of minority standing completely with removal of filibuster process.

Well here we go…  and it is a shock, by golly – a shock, to Republicans.

The media will cover and protect Reid/Pelosi/Obama because they support this unconstitutional manuever.   The legacy media has spent untold hours and pages labeling the conservatives as Extremists, and Obstructionists in preparation for the progressive excuse “they had to do it, they had to change the rules” to protect the country and move FORWARD.

I have no idea how much credibility to put to this “rumor” per se’.   But you never know, with this administration it would NOT surprise me…. or it could be a “trial balloon”.

While the now leading candidate may be worse, this op-ed by Zakaria in the Washington Post makes you wonder why he was ever considered.   Zakaria gives us a rundown of the region and reaches the following conclusions..

This is why Egypt, despite being under a new Islamist government, is not going to risk war with Israel. Nor are the other Arab states. They will make fiery speeches and offer humanitarian assistance. After months of protesting a policy requiring high school students to wear an RFID-enabled ID badge around their necks at all times, Andrea Hernandez is being involuntarily withdrawn from John Jay High School in San Antonio effective November 26th, according to a letter sent by the district that has now been made public.

Move along citizens, move along….  smiles please…  yes, lovely…. smiles please…..   roll up your sleeve so the line can move quicker please……  yes sir, that’s it…. yes, maam… perfect.   Keep the line moving folks, you are all most excellent citizens……   Yes, thank you, step along…. step along…..
