(Via Daily Caller)  Famed Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz ranks Sen. Ted Cruz among the school’s smartest students, adding that the Canada-born Texan can run for president in 2016.

Cruz was a “terrific student,” Dershowitz told The Daily Caller. “He was always very active in class, presenting a libertarian point of view. He didn’t strike me as a social conservative, more of a libertarian.”

“He had brilliant insights and he was clearly among the top students, as revealed by his class responses,” Dershowitz added. […]

Cruz “was an outstanding student in my class,” Dershowitz said. “Without a doubt he is among the smartest students I’ve ever had… I’ve had great students but he has to be at the top of anyone’s short list, in terms of raw brain power.”  (continue reading)

The George Zimmerman case was not a fight we chose, it was a fight that chose us. We wanted to find the truth, the opposition wanted to hide the truth – such is the nature of the conflict comprised.

That said, the serious issues at hand are far greater than a product now defined as George Zimmerman. However, the ideological argument is always augmented with the consideration that one man’s freedom does actually lie in the balance.

What George Zimmerman ‘the product’ is to the Professional Black Grievance Industry, albeit under the auspices of ‘civil rights and wrongful death’ protestations, is not dissimilar to Nakoula Basseley Nakoula and what he was for the Obama administration.

Both Nakoula and Zimmerman are tools, representative products, needed to advance a claim. The merit of the claim is tied intrinsically into the narrative that each product represents for those who seek to use it. (more…)

“Extortion 17” was the call sign for the Chinook helicopter shot down in Afghanistan on the night of August 6th, 2011.   Among the killed in the crash were 25 special operations forces, including 15 members of SEAL Team 6, five National Guard troops, and eight Afghan nationals.

Yesterday, the families of the military personnel  killed in that crash held a press conference to lay out the cover-up by Obama and the military ever since. (more…)

If you are a regular reader of this site you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence. But for some reason, even those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to actual beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to National Leadership.

You’d better change that thinking quickly – or you’ll be asking ‘what happened’ far too late.

There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.

It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening” because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.

“I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it.

Three families of Navy SEAL Team 6 special forces servicemen, along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master terrorist’s death.

Accompanying the families of these dead Navy SEAL Team 6 special operations servicemen will be retired military experts verifying their accounts of how and why the government is as much responsible for the deaths of their sons as is the Taliban.

Gee, given the propensity of the School Superintendent, Alberto Carvalho, to force Miami-Dade School Police to use the Baker Act to divert students way from the criminal justice system….. what could possibly go wrong?

MIAMI (CBS4) – It’s called the silent epidemic; children and adolescents suffering from mental illness.   Without early intervention it’s considered by many experts to be a time bomb.

One of the nation’s leading experts on mental illness, Miami-Dade Judge Steve Leifman, said time is running out. He’s launched an offensive to identify children in trouble and children who might cause trouble.

“Miami-Dade County has the largest number of people with mental illness than any other urban area equivalent in the nation. That’s 52,000 children and less than one-third have access to treatment,” Leifman told CBS4’s Chief Investigative Reporter Michele Gillen.

Leifman is the architect of a project whose goal is to identify mental illness in students. Beginning in March, the program ”Typical or Troubled?” will roll out in a handful of schools across the country. (more…)

Will the truth finally be revealed?

Like much of President Downgrade’s tenure the Syrian fiasco is one of insufferable consequences resulting from a ‘lead from behind’ strategy.

The window of opportunity for the U.S. to take action passed two years ago when the actual Syrian people, the ordinary freedom citizens, were crying out for help.  Over the course of the two years that followed those ordinary voices have been overrun by extremists who jumped into the vacuum created by a lack of action.

Now Syria has devolved into a brutal Assad regime being fought by an even more brutal group of al-Qaeda extremists, while supported by Egypt and Muslim Brotherhood elements.   The ordinary freedom movement is hiding amid destroyed homes, broken glass, and blood stained curtains.

Syria is Obama’s Iran 2.0 deja-vu.   In Iran 2009, the “Green Movement” suffered a similar fate to the ordinary Syrian seeking freedom.   President Obama ignored them both when the window was open – In Iran the Islamic iron gates locked down the opening, in Syria the same is taking place. (more…)
