This is a phrase that conjures up a lot of different images associated with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. Cards with hearts and little poems on them. Candy and flowers given to someone you love. And images of cupids flying around shooting their arrows of love into unsuspecting youths. Young and old alike expressing their affection for their sweethearts. February 14th for many means cards, candy, flowers, and cupids. (more…)
Gee….I was watching the news tonight, and I didn’t hear a thing about this. Surely the MSM is going to want to cover this. CNN: OWS was attacked at a Santorum rally. ABC: 99%ers rescued at a Santorum rally. NBC: America mourns the mistreatment of students during Santorum Speech. CBS: Oh look! Something bright and shiny! And at last, PBS: No comment. Seriously, my opinion of Santorum went up 1,000% after watching the way he handled himself in the face of this orchestrated mayhem. He went into the belly of the beast and faced them down. Oh…and listen to the crowd cheer when these scumbags are dragged off…”USA …USA.”

Jim Cramer sat down with the gang on Morning Joe this morning to discuss Obamacare, and one by one, he rattled off a litany of problems with the plan. Most notably he said business leaders fear Obamacare more than anything else. They don’t want to hire any more employees, and they want it defeated by the courts.

Speaking to a room filled with young college kids this morning, Obama blathered on promising them the moon and the stars, if only they would help him convince the “rich” to pay their fair share. Nothing more than Obama beating the drums of class warfare thinly disguised as “shared responsibility”. Rush begins his great monologue with, “He’s explicitly banking on the fact that he can be reelected by a dependent class (takers) that outnumber a working class (producers).”

James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. “I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it”, she said. “I think that’s what he would have wanted.” (From a public Facebook page)

Apparently Santorum doesn’t agree with the MSM that the CPAC and Maine straw polls were such BIG wins. He does agree, however, that paying people to turn out is the way most straw polls are won. After all, with Campaign Romney, the appearance of momentum MUST be maintained.

(DailyNews)…Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter was rushed to a hospital Sunday from the same hotel where her mother died the night before, the Daily News confirmed. Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on a stretcher after having a breakdown. “She was transported to the hospital for a medical issue” around 11 a.m. Los Angeles time, Police Sgt. The 48-year-old singer stepped out to Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B GRAMMY Party at Tru Hollywood on Thursday night — her last red carpet appearance before her death. It was a rare public appearance for Whitney, who hadn’t been on a red carpet for an entire year before that.
