(dispatch)…Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has a “major announcement” planned for 2 p.m. today at the Statehouse, according to his campaign.  The announcement, scheduled for Veterans Plaza, is believed to be an endorsement from a prominent Ohio politician, although a Santorum campaign spokesman declined to confirm.   (more…)

(Politico)…Maine Republican Party chairman Charlie Webster has admitted that the state party made numerous clerical errors in counting the state’s caucus results— even omitting some votes because emails reporting tallies “went to spam” in an email account.  However, Webster insisted that the errors did not change the outcome.   (more…)

Isn’t choir considered an elective in school?  This kid should have the choice of dropping out any time he wants, although it’s the reason he’s dropping out that has this Colorado high school playing defense.  The song contains the phrase,  “There is no other truth but Allah.”  I wonder how the school would feel if the reason this kid refused to sing the song wasn’t because he didn’t want to praise Allah, but rather because he was raised as an atheist?   This morning FOX and Friends reported that James Harper quit school in Grand Junction after receiving death threats.

Tonight was Eric Bolling’s very last edition of “Follow The Money”, and as his special last guest he invited Gov. Sarah Palin.  Topics ranged from her selection as the VP candidate in the ’08 election to the possibility of a brokered convention for the GOP.  Bolling waiting until almost the end of the interview to ask her if she’d consider saying “yes” to being a candidate if no one else reached the magic number of delegates.  Her answer?  “I would do whatever I could to help.”  Sarah also surprised viewers earlier in the day when she showed up as a surprise guest on The Five.  Guess who was the only one she gave a hug to?
