Jonah Goldberg spoke to Fox News just moments after learning of his friend Andrew Breitbart’s death.  He was a close colleague, and the interview was quite emotional.

“He was one of the most fearless people I ever knew,” an emotional Goldberg told Bill Hemmer. “It’s hard news to take.”

Snowe Announces Retirement – DLTDHYOTWO…

I know it’s going to be a sure pick-up for the Democrats, however, she did untold damage to the image and moral of the Republican Party for years.  Only one person voted with Democrats more than Snowe last year.  That was Susan Collins.

(RawStory)…Sen. Olympia Snowe, a moderate Republican from Maine, announced Tuesday that she would not seek re-election in 2012 because of the increasing polarization in Washington.

“After an extraordinary amount of reflection and consideration, I am announcing today that I will not be a candidate for re-election to the United States Senate,” she said in a prepared statement.    (more…)

Romney To Cavuto: There’s No Deal, Paul and I Just Like Each Other…

Neal Cavuto just spoke to Mitt Romney, and Cavuto put him on the spot regarding whether or not he and Paul are working in cahoots.    Watch and listen to Mitt’s nervous laughter and stammered reply.  Convincing much?

Has The Lead Shifted To Santorum In The Michigan Race?

PPP’s final poll in Michigan finds Rick Santorum holding on to the smallest of leads with 38% to 37% for Mitt Romney, 14% for Ron Paul, and 9% for Newt Gingrich.  It’s always good to be cautious with one night poll numbers, but momentum seems to be swinging in Santorum’s direction. Romney led with those interviewed on Sunday, but Santorum has a 39-34 advantage with folks polled on Monday. The best sign that things have gone back toward Santorum might be that with those polled today who hadn’t already voted, Santorum’s advantage was 41-31.   (more…)

Mark Levin’s Epic Apology To Our Soldiers…For This “Jerk Who’s The Commander-in-Chief” – (Audio)

I can’t imagine how the parents of our soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan must feel after hearing the sorry apologies offered up on behalf of our government this past weekend.  Mark offers a proper apology to the men and women serving in the military… an apology for “this jerk who’s the Command-in-Chief, for this jerk who’s the Secretary of State, for this Jerk who’s the Secretary of Defense…for the whole damn bunch of them!”

OWS Unveils Their Manifesto…

For anyone still under the mistaken impression that Occupy Wall Street is just some loosely organized group of radical malcontents,  you’re in for a rude awakening.  This morning their website produced a list of demands…a list that would put any ambitious grade school class president wannabee to shame.   They also bear an uncanny resemblance to the Communist Manifesto.

  • Repeal the Taft-Hartley Act. Unionize ALL workers immediately.
  • Raise the minimum wage immediately to $18/hr. Create a maximum wage of $90/hr to eliminate inequality.
  • Institute a 6 hour workday, and 6 weeks of paid vacation.  (more…)

Chris Christie: On Second Thought, Is That Job For VP Still Open?

Wow!  I wonder if Ron Paul knows about this?  Looks like somebody’s son will be in for a bit of disappointment.   BTW….would someone please give Ann Coulter a hand?  I think she just fainted.

(DailyCaller)…New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie seems to be budging from his statement last year that, “If the vice-presidency is offered to me, I will turn it down.”  (more…)

Romney To Michigan: “The Trees Are The Right Height…” ??? – (Video)

America’s man of the people spoke to the Michigan’s Detroit Economic Club today, and among other things, told the crowd that his wife Ann, “…drives a couple of Cadillacs.” Yeah…he’s smooth, so totally presidential and so utterly inevitable.  We get that, but what’s with Beaver Tree Service in Orlando that line about the trees?
