Whoever chooses to merely dismiss the significance of today’s exchange between our President and Russia’s President should have their intelligence and patriotism questioned. Let this exchange be a warning to voters: President Obama will have “more flexibility” to weaken us if he’s re-elected in November. He was caught speaking candidly to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev before a “hot mic” today (and surely one must believe he didn’t know the mics were still on; surely he’s not so audacious as to purposefully broadcast his intentions), as reported by ABC’s Jake Tapper. Here’s the exchange: (more…)
There is a new street art poster that’s being emailed around and will no doubt eventually be spotted on a street corner near you. It’s a gritty black and white image of Andrew Breitbart looking both battle-worn and ever vigilant with the caption: “BREITBART IS HERE.”
Those three words express the instant connection many of us feel for our fallen friend. They express our identification with him, and our need to continue his fight for the good of our republic. (more…)
Among many things, Michelle discusses Obama’s signing of a new bill this week that effectively outlaws protests anywhere the Secret Service goes. The bill, HR-347: “Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011”, in essence establishes an ‘anti-free speech bubble’ around the president wherever he goes. This was done to send a message to both sides…both Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party will be affected. BTW…both parties sponsored and endorsed this bill. Only two Republicans and Ron Paul voted against it. It was a great republic…while it lasted.
I doubt if folks here have too much difficulty spotting the “liberal” in the room. But for anyone you know who still might have some lingering doubts, have them check #YouMightBeALiberal for some obvious things to look for.
Mark responds to Ann Coulter’s latest verbal attack against Sarah Palin made while giving a speech to a small Republican Party gathering. Ann seems really worked up over the possibility of a brokered convention, and even more worked up over the fact she thinks Sarah Palin is “interfering in GOP politics” by supporting one.
Take a look into the future of a society wrestling with the results of Obamanomics. Today it may be black market Tide, but it’s not too hard to imagine where this could lead. First they came for the spray paint, then the flu medications…now they want to lock down my Tide?
(Daily.com)…Law enforcement officials across the country are puzzled over a crime wave targeting an unlikely item: Tide laundry detergent. Theft of Tide detergent has become so rampant that authorities from New York to Oregon are keeping tabs on the soap spree, and some cities are setting up special task forces to stop it. And retailers like CVS are taking special security precautions to lock down the liquid. (more…)
Remember when Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) warned Americans that “Republicans want you to die quickly” during an after-hours floor rant? I wonder what he was thinking when he slammed his Mercedes into the back of that city bus injuring two people? He was on his way to an $1,000 dollar-a-plate fundraiser. I guess you can never get to one of those too quickly. (BTW…does Mercedes make an electric car?)
Okay….he IS getting good. He likes grits AND he can recite the words to Davy Crockett! I am, however, a little confused about what’s happening with the cockroach stomping at the end though. Is cockroach stomping a southern thing? Somebody fill me in….
