You do not need to look to far, to see the affects of tyranny upon people… it is not good.

had a couple of hours of sleep, and I’m ready to examine this situation with a clearer head, and I will pray and meditate asking for GOD’S Will to be shown for me. Everybody can do the same, you might be given in Prayer stuff that GOD’S Spirit gives to you. I’m sure Trump is doing this, and Sundance too, we ask GOD for guidance and stay connected as best we can. Avoid anger or fear … GOD is our Wisdom and POWER … flowing through us … as we stay connected. (GOD is GOOD and LOVING and Wiser than any ego human). Maybe God will give you “out of the box” ideas or vision. We combine our individual skills to be used by a LOVING GOD.
I live in Maryland, so the results were not unexpected. As per usual, about 25% of voters vote Republican. I don’t really believe that represents the population, but I think so many conservatives have just rolled over: My vote doesn’t count for anything. But at least my local delegate to the General Assembly, while a Democrat, is relatively conservative. He voted NO on gay “marriage” when that came up years ago. We have some over-the-top wackos in the General Assembly.
There were 3 questions on the ballot, all amendment to our state constitution. All 3 passed. Notably, changes will be allowed on redistricting, so it seems our sole non-Democrat representative to Congress, Andy Harris (R), will be out of a job in the future. I note that there were big signs posted around the DC beltway area saying, “Stop Trump. Vote YES on 3.” Bleh.
So, in my family history, a close relative was sentenced to 16 years in prison for opposing leadership. He only served 2, being freed when the Allies arrived in Italy. But it was enough to leave a legacy: Stand up for what you believe. Work actively to support your fellow believers.

These election results should fix the slump in gun sales.

When I cast my vote for the Delaware republican candidates, I knew going in there was no chance they would win.
I do not live in North Dakota, but just to be snarky I sure do feel like calling John Thune’s office number to congratulate him on handing the senate to the democrats. I do not like saying this, but the republican party politicians showed the country that they had no interest in doing anything their voters elected them to do. They sat on their hands for two years and got what they deserved or what they really wanted, an ass kicking. I do believe John Thune in his mind thinks he is a hero but will be considered a traitor to republican voters.

I’m still in disbelief over last night’s election results! So voters put gasoline prices over their long term safety! The Democrats failed New Green Deal would have practically banned gasoline driven vehicles and raised gasoline and home heating prices astronomically but that didn’t matter in this election. Voters have a very short term memory! Godspeed President Trump!

A bunch of uniparty republicans and democrats pretending to be republicans lost last night.
“Republicans” failed miserably for the last two years by defying the will of their voters so the voters didn’t turn out for them.
The Iran war is not America First which caused swing voters to vote democrat or not turn out for republicans.
Mass deportations didn’t happen which suppressed R turnout.
DOJ failed to effectively go after ‘government gangsters” which suppressed R turnout.
I’m glad I don’t live in PA any longer. Shapiro won re-election, the Dems held the state house, and for the firs time in 30 years, the Dems will also control the state senate.
Election theft in Lucas County Ohio?
Reprehensible Communist Marcy Kaptur – in Congress for over 40 completely undistinguished years from the Toledo area – had been behind by 17,000 votes last night.
However, Lucas County, a corrupt DEM area for decades, had turned in NO results by 10 P.M. last night!
After those results came in very late, Kaptur ends up pulling ahead!

Being a historian, you of all people know what we are in for. I remember the Mensheviks and Social Democrats complaining about Bolshevik crimes. Russian history during the years immediately before the revolution reads like a 100 mile long train wreck.
