::BUMPED:: Interestingly, as expected, the various social media platforms and internet connectivity therein are sketchy and intermittent as the critical USA midterm election nears.
As we have done in the past, today we solicit reader feedback on the sentiment in/around your area as the midterm election nears. What is your local sense of the tone, voter intent, enthusiasm or lack therein, in the last 72 48 hours before election day on Tuesday.
This request comes with a very important and specific qualifier, DO NOT USE social media to gauge or report your sense of where things stand. The reasoning is simple; the algorithm you are exposed to is not necessarily the reality of your environment. The information being fed into the data system that holds your specific attributes, is purchased and created specifically to provide you a specific sense.
Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).
As a consequence, the best view of the reality in your vicinity is what you personally experience in real life, not during your travels on the internet. With that thought in mind, what is your sense of the voting intent in/around your proximity?
From my own travels what I can identify with ease is the promoted narrative about abundant enthusiasm for leftist candidates is mostly false. I cannot identify any substantive enthusiasm to vote for the communist agenda of the Democrat Socialists or any other manufactured policy of the political left in real life.
Sure, online and in the media, there is a specific pipeline of information operating at maximum output to promote a blue wave premise. However, in real life -during my travels- I do not see that same level of enthusiasm claimed by oppositional advocates.
To the contrary, the datapoints and behavior of the political left indicate they are ‘trying’ to generate the illusion of something, as well as create some self-fulfilling prophecies. The appearances of President Obama in Detroit on behalf of Al-Sayed is an example. Obama is only deployed to get out the black vote. If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate was ahead in Michigan, Obama simply wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, the proverbial lawn sign indicators do not lend favor to a blue wave narrative.
That said, Georgia and Texas will be interesting to watch play out. Both of those states have been targeted by the various BLM, and DSA level operatives for several years. However, while they have succeeded in Georgia, they have not had a similar success in Texas – despite the lone star state being specifically vulnerable due to the Bush camp’s comfort with the larger socialist cause.
President Trump, DHS, ICE, DOJ and HSI have done all they can to trigger fear amid the professional population of election operatives who deploy fraudulent ballot operations as part of their electoral strategy. The Lawfare alliance has been spending billions to counteract this election integrity operation. It is yet to be determined which one will ultimately end up tipping the scale amid the various illegal voter systems.
What we can judge with some accuracy is the sense in our vicinity. What is the intent of our family? What do our neighbors say? What is the sense within our local community? These are measures of real sentiments that can be adequately assembled to provide a larger predictive sense.

I am a Republican precinct committeeman in Wayne County, Indiana. I have been going door-to-door on behalf of our State Senator and the entire ticket. The biggest threat in mostly Republican Indiana is Beau Bayh becoming Secretary of State. We elected an Hispanic SOC in 2022 who, according what I heard from legislators in our state, was doing a credible job on elections, but I believe being in such a high position went to his head and he made major mistakes. He purchased an expensive vehicle for his own travel, was on a trip to India when he should have been reporting to the legislature on his progress in the SOC office, hired some family members in his office, and (the last straw) hired someone who was not legally a citizen as his chief of staff. All of this was not defensible and the GOP dumped him and promoted a young DC staffer for Senator Jim Banks to replace Diego Morales. A former Republican mayor of Indianapolis also jumped into the race. as well as a Libertarian. The result is we have a very tight race. I am finding too many Republican voters saying they are leaning towards Beau Bayh to “clean things up.” The Democrats are successfully persuading people that the Republicans writ large are deep into corruption. Beau Bayh is the son of former Governor Evan Bayh, a moderate Democrat who was well-loved in Indiana. The name still has power. I( worry what could happen with Democrats in charge of our elections. Beau Bayh will advocate for mail-in voting for example, and I fear enough squishy Republicans could be intimidated by the Bayh name to support it. We must not allow Beau Bayh into the SOC job. Evan Bayh did the sane thing, using the office as a launch pad for governor. I have little doubt that is the plan here.
I can attest to this post. Live in Southern Indiana lots of Bayh signs. I didn’t vote for his father or him. Cast a straight red ticket.
Jefferson County Indiana has only had a 10%!early voting turnout as of Friday. That usually favors Republicans
Damn. I sent that sumbitch money (Morales). Huge disappointment. Another Republican dumb ass. Bayh “to clean things up”? Yeah, right. Good luck Hoosiers on that race.
Nothing but democrats lying on this site to supress the vote!
-I am in SC; I think Graham will win because I can’t imagine it can shift as much as they say it will, but no one really liked Lindsey Graham. When he died, we were thinking we would finally have someone else to vote for, and not his sister. I think the younger the voter, the less likely they are to vote for her.
-Listening to 98.9 talk radio in the SC upstate one day, several people called in saying their ballots switched to all Dem at two polling places, I think near Greenville.
-For my family in VA and OH, I feel like their support for Trump is being chipped away. The disappointment is growing, due to a lack of understanding of why Trump is doing what he’s doing.
“no one really liked Lindsey Graham. “
Makes me wonder why the voters of SC kept electing him…
I know. Trump did endorse him in the last two primaries, though, in 2020 and 2026.
It is the same reason those of us in Kentucky kept electing McConnell. The Republican political machine protected McConnell in the low turnout primaries, and we do not hate the rest of the county enough to elect a Democrat in the general.
SC is an open primary state.
That’s how.
Open primaries.
Centrist democrats in the Columbia-Myrtle-Beach-Charleston triangle supported him. Get him through the primaries and then the general.
Democrats usually conceded the seat and ran some loon against him. Usually use the campaign to float some trial balloons. Dr. Annie Andrews is no different. Pediatrician that fully supports the LQBT agenda; publicly stated she supports gender surgery on children (as young as 5, I think).
I don’t see Dr Andrews winning, but D. Graham is not campaigning as hard as Lyndsey used to.
He had a huge campaign war chest that no one could overcome.
SC here. Graham will win by larger margins than the media predict. The reason that it was not a clean sweep is that Trump endorsed Darline Graham over Ralph Norman in the primary run off, which really pissed off a lot of Republican voters. I am a Norman supporter and was gob smacked by Trump meddling in the SC primary, but I held my nose and voted for Darline yesterday. Voting for any Democrat and what they will do to this country again, is unthinkable.
Same. I’m in Greenville also.
You’re dead on with what the Dims would do, but “meddling” Hal? He supported the person he thought would best help him resolve the myriad of issues created by years of Dims and RINOs. Nothing more, nothing less. Know a number of people both upstate and coastal – most would have preferred not to have Darline and none wanted Lindsey – but to a person they support the President and what he’s trying to get done.
Im with you Hal, from the lowcountry.
St Paul, Minnesota Dash I am picking up a strong vibe of frustration with Trump. It’s all social media driven, from what I can tell. A big concern is that his family is grifting off of the United States. There’s less of the “he’s a Zionist and a puppet of Netanyahu,” but it’s still this sense that he let everybody down. I completely see it as social media driven, and bought off Podcaster (e.g., Tucker Carlson) driven. Despite all the corruption here in MN, people aren’t as angry as I think they should be about the ball grip that the DSA has on this state. I should put this on the presidential thread, but I’m flummoxed by all this talk that he and his family are grifting off of the country. On the face of it, it seems like an absurd accusation but it keeps coming up – RR Reno wrote an editorial on it in First Things (they do have neocon roots but are faithful). Is there any truth the grift claim?
Sundance asked us not to buy in to the social media hype. That is precisely what you’ve done here. If you have spent time on this site, you should already know that the Trump enrichment gift is pure hype with no evidence to support it. In fact, the opposite is true. He has lost wealth.
Spent time with a friend this week. It absolutely right that the social media is hurting republicans. We know not to pay attention to it but too many don’t. The family enrichment was the argument my friend was pushing but when pressed she had nothing to offer as evidence. So frustrating!
Definitely not. I am rather shocked that you read here and are still asking the question. Maybe you are not sincere?
First he takes no salary and his wealth has decreased since he took office.
No one in Minnesota can say that. (See Ilhan Omar for example)
My advice is move out of Minnesota. Some people have a strong enough sense of what is truth to withstand the social pressure to conform in a place like Minnesota. Others do not and are better off and happier, living somewhere there isn’t so much fraud and ignorance.
In my circle of friends and relatives, one moved from blue state Colorado to Arkansas several months ago and is deliriously happy. Another is moving from New York to Virginia (still blue but not quite as socialist). Another moved to Fort Meyers area in Florida. It can be done at any age especially now with so much work being remote.
Its a pity. I spent several weeks in Minneapolis in 1971 and 1972 and it was delightful. I think of that when people say “diversity is our strength”. Not so.
I live in Minneapolis in the early 1960s. It was a beautiful city. So easy to get around in. So many lovely parks and public activities. Distant memory now.
Don’ Jr’s wedding at least partially paid by a Russian oligarch sure didn’t he;p! He couldn’t pay for his own wedding? What was he thinking!
You misspelt ‘Chelsea Clinton’, and misspelt ‘by taxpayers money via NGO’.
Damn straight…
My understanding was the oligarch’s party was planned for over a year but the wedding was not. They had the wedding adjacent to the party. Party crashing in a way since people were already going to be there. People with global business interests are likely to have a friend set different than you or I.
Doesnt Trump give his Presidential salary to charity as he did his first term? Tell your friends and family.
Here in NC the national republican committee pulled the money from Whatley which will probably hand Cooper the senate seat. I early voted. No lines and no perceived enthusiasm from anyone.
Whatley is still out there campaigning and the NRSC is a bunch of RINO asshats. My family of four voters are voting for Whatley on election day. Anyone in NC who votes for Cooper after his covid disaster is truly beyond reasoning with. I know many people who support Whatley. On another note, Cooper is 71 years old. He does have a limited amount of time left and don’t attack me for being ageist. I’m 78 and am speaking from experience.
I recall the president has very strongly endorsed Whatley… I really hope that helps.
‘NRSC is a bunch of RINO asshats.’ -DITTO
I wish there was a way to give more than one thumbs up to a post.
Covid, Helene, and letting out all the perverts from prisons – can’t see any sane person voting for Cooper…
Come on, they just called the race even yesterday for the first time. Cooper started out way ahead.
There’s way too much negativity here for this site, the only social media impact is democrats lying as usual.
We are here in western NC. Went to early voting in Friday and the lines were out the door. There was a republican booth and a democrat booth. No one was at the democrats booth. Republican booth was crowded.
Also, there are people stealing Jennifer Balcom and Whatley signs as well. They caught several people and arrested them.
The parking lot at our local early voting location, a public library located in “purple” South Charlotte, NC has been PACKED every day since early voting started. Other people have been saying the same thing. I’m not sure what this indicates, but it hasn’t been this way in previous elections. I’m hopeful that it’s a good many red voters turning out early for a change rather than waiting for Election Day as has been their usual practice.
Fingers crossed 🤞
Republican all the way in west central Florida along the Gulf. One sees an occasional old sticker for Harris still stuck to a car window. Nonetheless: Long lines at early voting sites. People that I know are terrified of the communists. I just hope my own observations have not been tainted by my hopes.
Hopefully all 3 amendments pass.
True Georgians are conservative and are flocking to the polls. We are seeing a Democrat invasion of our State. Apartment complexes springing out of nowhere, filled up with Democrat voters. We are fighting as hard as we can to defeat them. We had record breaking advance voting turnout. The natives see the writing on the wall and they are answering the call. Thank the Lord.
About 20 years ago a friend moved with his wife and small business to a small county in GA.
As a new business many folks came by to see the stranger, some were the local pols.
Come election time what a surprise to him that they were all “D”.
He called to tell me of this eyeopener.
I asked him if he ever heard of the guys with white sheets?
Then said you do realize the Peanut Farmer ex Pres only lives about 45 minutes away.
The conservative voters in the south realized a long time ago that the Republican party is the only one even remotely close to our values. We just need to identify the rhinos and get rid of them.
Yes!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
North Dallas suburbs, far east side of Denton County TX. Early voted a week ago in the late afternoon. Steady stream of other voters, but no real line though. Have seen 3 Talarico signs in my neighborhood. Not a single Paxton sign. In fact, no other signs for anyone besides those 3 Talarico ones- those same 3 homes btw all had Biden/Harris/Walz signs- so you can’t talk to those people, they’re gone . In the 2016-2024 elections, there were signs everywhere, for everyone. Not sure what to make of the subdued signage this year. Have been receiving on average about 15-20 text messages a day from all candidates over the last month to go along with the dozens of paper mailers I get in my mail box and another 20 or so daily emails. I’ve lived here since 2013 and this level of contact is way out of the norm, for me at least.
.
Two thoughts about signage:
1) ‘Advertising’ that you support an (R) candidate can lead to unpleasant consequences showing up via disillusioned leftists.
2) Using a campaign’s advertising budget to text, call, and send flyers may be the best use of said budget.
Sending flyers? Maybe. But any flyer or cardstock mailing that comes into my mail slot is torn in half immediately and added to a stack that be tossed into the fireplace on Tuesday evening. I don’t even bother to see who sent them. Don’t care.
Nothing but yard signs and billboards for Democrats in my neck of Northern Ohio.
I see very few Republican signs in front yards. In my drives out in the rural areas, there is almost no support for Ohio Republican candidates. Vivek is running for Governor. I haven’t seen even a dozen signs for him in total. I think he will win Ohio, though.
I see a lot of Sherrod Brown for Senator signs. We threw him out because he was worthless for decades. Trying for a last hurrah. I hope he goes down in flames, again.
However, I’m fairly certain I know at least, where all the teachers live. They have a dozen d-rat signs in their yards.
Stay polite, say hi to your neighbors, say a prayer, and vote Republican. Tell at least a few family and friends to do same.
Also in NE OH here. There are very few Republican candidate signs and I have been told by many Republican voters they do not want to risk the damage to their property by having a sign. Our candidate for Governor on the SDA side is Amy Acton. Her visuals suggest much of the Kamala-esque ranting while wine drinking. She has refused invitations from all OH newspapers for interviews, and will not debate the Republican candidate, Vivek. I don’t hear any support for Sherrod Brown, but it’s hard to predict whether he’s gained ground, due to his lack of talking about policy.
Nothing but democrats lying on this site to supress the vote!
Is that all you have to say? How do you know that? I think you’re the liar. (See how that works??)
Juries out…
NW Ohio. GOP early voting up 1.6% and out pacing dems that took an early lead. If the R’s turn out it’s a sure win. Ohio 9 is likely going to flip for Merrin against Kaptur. OH9 was re-drawn to be be Trump+9. This will be a bell weather district for Ohio. Sleeper issue is the amount of young people that have become active through Turning Point USA chapters. It’s a big number of kids but will they vote?
Husted is locked in-Brown can’t pull enough votes out of Cleveland and Columbus. Acton is mocked. Viveik is not loved but will win with help of McColly his LG who is Senate Leader and is very popular in the Nw part of the state. OH7 looks like D flip with Miller losing. It’s going to be a strong night for Ohio–but not a blow out.
I was a Geauga County OH Precinct Captain in the 1990s. Remember also when Sherrod was Secretary of State, then my Congresscritter before being elected US Senator. Still have family in the area, but as you mention, they are public school teachers with woke yard signs. I never tell anyone to VOTE when I don’t know their politics or, rather, I DO;-)
Cherokee county GA here. Last Friday late afternoon the line was extremely long for in person early voting at the Woodstock rec center. Like longer than two years ago. We’re pretty conservative in this county, so this kind of turnout is encouraging.
Yes, high turnout is excellent!
PDJT received 69.1% in Cherokee County in 2024.
Going to passing thru there in a week on the way to Hayesville, spend a couple weeks on the lake.
Little cooler than this summer.
We’re 1/2 a mile from Lake Lanier in northern Cumming, GA.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I live in rural NC-11.
Only signs out in my area are D.
Chuck Edward’s debacle really screwed R’s here.
Dems are running a good ole boy from Buncombe County who has a well known farm and agriculture-business.
We voted early straight Rep.
All we can do in our area is pray!
I’m seeing lots of D signs in my neck of the woods in NC, but I’m not hearing the same enthusiasm with friends and acquaintances. I think the D’s are flooding the zone and the R’s are going about their daily lives.
Just read up on Edwards. Am I correct? Censured for late night texts and lavish gifts? No sex or inappropriate touching involved and he gets censured? But the likes of Omar skip around Scot-free? Republicans eating their own. Not defending his conduct (old guys should know better) but this seems overboard to me. What did I miss?
Coastal Northern Essex County Massachusetts:
The at one time (30 years ago) politically split North Shore has devolved to something more resembling the 60-40 split in statewide politics. Still, the ‘lawn sign’ metric back in the primary in September was very interesting: in the weeks leading up, I only saw 1 sign for WEF Seth Moulton who was trounced in his attempt to un-seat Markey. Guess there was never all that much grassroots support for the one time ‘presidential candidate’.
Throughout this season of ‘No Kings’ imported from contemporary Lexington and Cambridge, Massachusetts, the border town market square rotary has become the Saturday morning protest grounds, some definitely locally attributable, though probably due to location near NH and visibility, augmented by Granite State border-crossers and city dwellers 😉 .
There has actually been significant presence of signs for Mike Minogue (Republican Governor candidate) and Micah Jones, and slow in rollout, signage for Healey and dems, though much more, than say for example, Moulton.
There are 9 questions on the ballot. Perhaps the ‘liberty’ oriented nature of Question 8 (re-criminalizing pot) and Question 9, further codifying the 2nd Ammendment stomping law put in place a couple years back may affect turnout that disfavors Democrats.
Who knows, maybe the Congressional MA 6 seat and Governor’s races might actually be somewhat competitive?
Do any other Baystate Treepers think Minogue has a wing and a prayer?
As to nearby NH, it seems dynastic politics is at play with a Shaheen off-spring running for NH-District 1: nearby Seabrook is hugely supportive of President Trump, though not sure how this will play out in the wealthy Seacoast towns.
Minogue, absolutely. I live in his hometown, Hamilton, MA. Lawn signs galore for him and 6th congressional district candidate Micah Q Jones.
These races have shifted considerably since the debates between Minogue and our colossal failure of a governor, lesbian Maura Healy. He has gone on the offensive and internal polling from 2 weeks ago shows a 6 point race with 15% undecided. Healy was at 45% – horrible for her at less than 50% support as an incumbent.
My expectation is Minogue will pull this out. I know him from Little League and church, and family members know him as their boss at Abiomed, where he was CEO. Mike is a warrior and as solid a man as they come.
I’m very optimistic!
Maybe the Commies have overplayed their hand even in Massachusetts.
I hope that you are right!
North Central MA resident here (e.g., north & slightly west of Worcester): We have a “No on 9” sign in our yard [this law would make a number of worrisome changes to Massachusetts laws governing firearms], and it’s the only sign on our entire street. We haven’t seen any numbers so far of how the voting is going–my husband and I voted two Saturdays ago and were the only ones in the Town Hall besides the clerk. At least we were able to see her feed our ballots into the collection box…. although who knows what happens to them after that.
“Western Massachusetts” begins in Worcester, thank God!
Here in Washington we’re voting on three very important state initiatives, one to prevent democrats from imposing a nearly 10% state income tax in violation of the state constitution, another to protect against biological boys in girls sports, and a third to restore parents’ rights to protect and prevent their children from secret gender transitions by schools and the state policy of hiding those children and their whereabouts from the parents.
The state has established itself as a veritable gender-change mill for teens, especially girls. This past week a report was published revealing doctors here diagnose gender dysphoria in girls at a rate of 700% higher than other states. And no, that’s not a typo. This will be the second citizens initiative to rein in the state on this hideous practice. The first one passed, but the state simply changed its policies and doubled down in defiance. So we’re back and this time we’ll win again.
At the local level the leftists are behaving like rabid dogs in their determination to hold on to power. Their methods of vote count cheating and their continued violation of any ethical standards of conduct have become more visible thanks to the brave actions of some conservative community members and candidates, but real progress will be difficult unless and until the feds step in to help deal with the rot from the state level down.
We’re still swimming upstream against a strong current. Voter fraud remains a top concern across the state, and fortunately the DOJ is now focusing some attention on it. So we will not relent, and we will continue the work to clean out the democrat rot to recover the rule of law in our state.
The sense I get here is that Indivisible is primed and ready to go, and will be staging demonstrations accordingly: if they win they’ll be insufferable, if they lose they’ll go nuts and do very bad things. We’ll see. Hopefully it’ll rain and snow, which always suppresses their enthusiasm and willingness to show up. And if, God forbid, push should come to shove, this community has already shown its willingness and preparedness to step up, repel the outsiders and keep order. I think it’s unlikely we’ll need to.
Please keep us in your prayers.
When I first moved to Washington I volunteered to be a vote monitor. That was the 2022 election. I witnessed astounding and very concerning things and reported them to my Republican superiors. Crickets happened. Nothing. They just ignored me. I have not volunteered again as it was obviously pointless. This state is aptly called “The Communist State of Washington.” The R party here is fully RINOs.
SW Washington state congressional district #3 is in play…Vote Braun (R) to remove Perez.
Yes on all three initiatives.
Washington State Supreme court…Vote Scott Edwards…Stevens… O’Donnell…Larson…Bloom for a conservative leaning court.
Pass this info on. Do not give up…MAGA MAHA
Amen!!!
My husband and I were seriously thinking of relocating from Massachusetts to Washington state back in the early 90s; I had an opportunity to visit Seattle there through my job, and my husband was able to join me. We subsequently decided to stay where we were in MA and have only thanked our lucky stars since then. We didn’t think a Democrat-run state could be worse than MA, but Washington has proved us wrong.
We’re California refugees who came up to be near family in 2005, when this state was still its traditional self and not infested by the malignant liberalism that exists here today. It was like coming home to America, and it was wonderful. Seattle and, to a lesser extent back then, Olympia were known for their wackiness and extremism, but the overall vibe of the state was still stand-up Americana, with Republican values and leadership comprising a meaningful presence in state politics.
But then came mandated vote by mail, suspect election outcomes, the crash of 2008 which installed the obama junta, and it was all over with but the crying. Things only got uglier and uglier as the voter fraud spread. When President Trump was elected the left went nuts. The left plunged the country and especially this state into chaos and violence.
Then came the covid coup and the stolen 2020 election. What followed has been like a nightmare. The democrats in power are insanely out of control and aggressively hostile to anything remotely conservative.
Productive and affluent people are fleeing the state like it’s California, but with a much more palpable effect owing to the fact the population base is much, much smaller, making the loss all the more costly.
But they’re finally running out of room to operate in the same corrupt ways they’ve gotten away with thanks to the obama/biden junta. The DOJ has begun making moves to address some of the fraud and civil rights violations, and we conservatives are not letting up. We intend to outlast them and prevail. Needless to say, this week’s election is huge for us.
I hope one day soon you’ll be able to come back and visit and find the real Washington restored, where the values and human beauty once again match its natural beauty.
Still have my bumper sticker from 1972 don’t californicate Wash.
The strongest and most committed conservatives in this region are all from California.
When we tried to tell the locals to stand their ground and never let what we’d gone through happen here they keyed our cars.
Not a bit of difference between Wa. and Mass. both commie hell holes. I never go into Seattle un less driving through!
🙁 🙁
As much as we don’t want to, we’re also forced to consider the same thing, but haven’t decided where we’d want to go, considering the intense level of targeting being done on traditionally conservative states that might suffer the same fate as this state has. We’d have a very hard time if we ended up encountering the same situation a year or two after picking up and moving again.
I’d like to hear your thoughts.
The reason I’m still here fighting these commies is I love this place! I’ve been all across this nation and in the country side it’s common sense and national pride almost everywhere. In the city it’s crumbling infrastructure and nonsense. I’ve have the same thought “where to flee to”. In the 60s and 70s Washington was conservative even with democrats. I keep praying this nation will wake up!
I hear you, brother. It broke my heart to finally give in and leave my native home of coastal California. I can think of very few places other than the wilds of far northwest washington I could have come and resettled without being overwhelmed with homesickness.
I believe there’s more hope for recovery here than there is for California, and it’s going to take a real committed effort to bring it about, but it’s beginning to look like the democrats have overplayed their hand and might be headed for a fall if the feds get a hook in them.
If we can pass the three initiatives on Tuesday we’ll have made a good start. I’ll definitely be voting yes on all three and for all the conservative candidates for the state supreme court.
Manhattan: Absolutely no line, and eerily quiet yesterday. Walked right in, walked out having voted 5 minutes later. In 2024, the early voting line went all the way down and around the block.
My only concern is the perception of costs and the economy by unaligned voters.
On the national level, think they’ve done a poor job of contrasting things today with the way they were during Autopen, including gas prices. For myself, have seen food cost deflation. The only thing that’s risen are insurance costs that the federal government has no real influence on and the current gas prices, which are still considerably better than when Autopen was inhabiting the WH.
Heavy turnout in DFW: 30-60+ minutes wait at nearly every poll location all day long throughout the metroplex during early voting, which ended Friday.
BTW, there is no vote-by-mail in TX with very limited exceptions.
There should NOT be anywhere, with the rare exceptions for active duty stationed out of state and the truly physically disabled at home.
What about people who travel?
What’s more important – the election or the travel…
Here in California.. All I can do is pray. They show Governors race 61-34 Democrat. Only God knows why. Praying for a miracle!
Who is “they”, the media? How can “they ” know? Even exit polling is sketchy.
We’ll pray for you too, being in AZ we’ve had so many come from CA.
Pray, vote and keep fighting.
🙏🦅🇺🇸✝️
Here in SoCal. Orange County. There are many signs on the main roads, all local stuff. Interesting that they show the gov race as 61% D. Newsome was elected at 60%, and his recall was 60% favorable. This mail in voting out here is ridiculous. The only state prop that interests me is 39, Voter ID. Even that is rigged. The prop reads that the voter must place the last 5 digits of a government ID. But they give illegals DL’s here, so how would they differentiate? And will they approve the billionaires tax? And with it, the ability to expand the tax to millionaires!
…and after that to ‘thousandaires’…
I live in the Texas Hill Country that voted for Trump and is Conservative. With that said, people here are lazy and tend to stay home instead of going to the ballot box. On Oct 19, for the first time in the decades since I moved here, I had to wait in a long line to vote, when the election site has always been empty before. People here are getting off their rumps and voting! They are THAT afraid of Talafreako getting elected. While in the line, we all chatted about our love for Paxton and how thrilled we are to get to vote for him; although we do dislike losing him in TX to the Federal Gov’t. If other counties in TX are like mine, TalaFreako doesn’t have a chance as the average Joe is actually going to the polls this “off season” as they kept calling the election while in line referring to an election where POTUS isn’t on the ballot. I also chatted with a few of the poll workers while there. They were thrilled to see so many voters in their precinct actually voting and said they’d never experienced anything like it. Paxton is definitely winning this county.
Also in Texas and suspect Mayes Middleton will be a worthy replacement for incoming Senator Paxton 😎
A basic overview of his platform….
https://www.branch.vote/races/2026-texas-general-election-tx-state-attorney-general-tx-state/candidates/mayes-middleton
I know Mayes (my state senator right now) and he is a solid, solid candidate. Chip Roy thought he had it locked up, but Mayes had the statewide grassroots support.
I do have a concern that while Ken Paxton was a super lawyer, Mayes is really not that well-known as a lawyer and is really just using the AG job to position himself as a future replacement for either Abbott or Patrick when they call it quits. That’s fine, but he has a job to do starting in early January. I hope he hires good staff.
I suspect that’s exactly what he’s doing, too..
And when…not if…that time comes, he will be judged on his record as AG, should he win (as I expect him to do). And while I am pretty sure he will work to make a record he can run on, let’s hope that’s not the only/primary motive for his candidacy. I’m sick of having to draw lines through Republican office holders who seemed solid and worthy but who in the end outed themselves as not.
I didn’t even research his Dem opponent and couldn’t even tell you his name, but it’s pretty much a dead cert he has Soros money behind him.
Paxton’s staff conspired to run him of office.
I agree with you in that hope.
In NE Texas, observed significant early voting(record numbers so it’s reported); red trend(with a few exceptions, i.e., Lord Bentsen, et al) for the state started with John Tower’s 1960 election to the Senate, hopefully to continue with this year’s Mid-Terms. Texans, let’s make the State redder.
NW Austin. Deep blue country. Only see Talarico signs; however, not anywhere near as many as the Beto signs when he ran against Cruz. Prior to Labor Day only had Talarico campaign ads. After Labor Day we are now seeing either equal if not more ads for Paxton. The PACs supporting Paxton and pointing out who Talarico actually is are running continuously. Voted early straight R. The Republican Party has been active in reaching out more than in the past.
I’m in Texas too and it seems like the Republicans finally got smart on ads and better with voter outreach.
Voted early in Texas week before last. The precinct at the Steiner Ranch Randall’s has a line that was over an hour wait. We went to the Lakeway Community Center, less wait. The support for Paxton was evident. Although I’m not a fan of his, I voted R straight down the ticket. Unopposed d’s didn’t get my vote. I left that position blank.
I’m in Mississippi now caring for aging parents and the vibe is that Cindy Hyde-Smith will defeat the Dem. The Dem will carry Warren County though, I’m sure. As a country song says, I way my home town back.
We can’t lose Congress to the Dems. We’re up that proverbial creek if we do. MAGA!!!
Abbott has an app that is tracking people with Republican primary voting history and his volunteers are using it to drive turnout among that population. I’m sure you’ve got texts from them.

NW Kansas here, greater Kansas City metro area. I have seen very few signs in yards this year, for either party. This area is full of military and retired military, they tend to vote conservative. Everyone I speak to is solidly conservative. Early voting turnout is higher than normal according to the poll workers, they said it’s been pretty busy.
Edited to add:
Getting inundated with texts to vote Republican, a few for Democrats. Lots of ads on TV against Roger Marshall, and pro-Adam Hamilton. Trump and Vance both doing lots of rallies here.
WV here, tens of thousands of registered Dems have changed to registered Republicans. This Primary will be red. Only dems are in college towns or small artsy communities. No problems anticipated here as far as election interference. Folks here don’t put up with those shenanigans. Lots of Vets, Business owners, Farmers, Retirees. Majority of people here will never vote for Socialism(communism) or Jihadism.
The fact that people here see few or no Republican signs means that just like they don’t participate in polls, they value their privacy and don’t want others to know how they will vote.
Doesn’t mean a lack of excitement to vote.
MAGA don’t do ‘polls’.
On the Olympic peninsula I live on a few acres among other septuagenarians. It isn’t politics we moved here, but fed up with urban hogwash and each of us deep seeded introverts. In our little neighborhood, there’s 5 conservatives and 4 liberals and this year one of the conservatives said “I’ve retired from voting” – so if any of the measures we voted on loses by 1, I will haunt his arse for the rest of his life, esp. because he’s always complaining about taxes and WA has a big tax initiative on the so-called millionaire tax. Also a parental rights and a no men in women’s sports initiative – all a YES vote in this household. 2 of the 4 liberals live 6 mos / yr in the SW US – no idea where their residency is.
The only place I’ve seen signage is the main intersection of town. Liberal loon no kings types … funny here, the only fed race is WA-06 where Emily Randal is +24 as a D over Teresa Fox R. Doubt this area will ever go back to R what with temperate climate, homelessness, drug issues, and a haven for alt lifestyles. Living high on the hill a guy could hope for a Tsunami for taking out the trash. If I can help it, we’ll never go beyond the Hood Canal floating bridge again.
Valdosta (South Georgia) and Georgia in general have set early voting records.
In a deep blue region of IL…in my ‘hood (not Kankakee)…no yard signs. Zero zip nada other than 3 for ‘vote yes’ on a school tax.
Pritzker thinks he has it wrapped up tight.
Cease and desist? How about handcuffs and leg irons!
North texas near OK border. One of the reddest counties in TX.
I voted early and it was pretty quiet.
I don’t think Talarico has near the energy from supporters that Beto had
6-gender jimmy is a godless, perverted freak who can’t remember what he said to the press whores 5 minutes ago… serial liar and a taker, not a maker
Reporting from Mid-North Ohio (Knox County/a Red county) between Columbus and Cleveland here: Voted earlier this week. Not too busy but a fair number. The election board workers said is has been steady. On the Senate side seems to be about an equal number of signs for Brown and Husted. (not very good for a Red County. )”Indivisible” for a small “local” group has been consistently protesting on the city square (Mount Veron) on Saturdays for 1 hour for the past year. For Governor, my Republican friends are concerned Acton will win. The TV ads have been constant for both sides and mostly negative. TV Time seems to be equal-most with no substance for what they will do but how bad the other guy or gal is. Husted has a good one. For the first time he “asked’ for our vote. (not seen that in any other political this cycle. I’ve noticed more deceiving mailers trying to take votes from Husted and support the Libertarian candidate. The mailers only aim a Husted. Then there is black and white mailer that seems like a “neutral” committee showing support for Brown vs Husted voting record.
On the local party side: For a Red county the Dems seem to work as
many if not more hours than the GOP based on office hours. The local GOP Hqs
is mostly manned by the old Tea Party/912 members. The official local GOP
leadership and committee people provide very little visible manpower to the HQS. Typically, if you get the local GOP endorsement/win the primary you will win the general. Maybe if we were a “purple” county there might be more effort (my opinion)
Sundance: Thanks so much for all you do, the insights and the intel you provide.
Be Safe: Prayers for you, us and the US!
Blue Earth County, Minnesota.
Kind of a pink support group here, but we flipped this county in the General Election.
I feel Conservative movement is growing daily here. A lot of RED signs in the yards, not usually the case. I think there is a sense of urgency even though we are the southern “neighbor” (as Dim Walz would say) of the slumbholes of Minneapolis.
Statewide, we are feeling pretty good about replacing our gestapo government. We have been helped immensely by the exposure the Federal government has given us. All that being said, we all here in Minnesota know what these demons can do and we are clutching our pearls. We have really good candidates and if the “polls” show “really tight” races then we know we are are doing a lot better and may be leading in ALL major races.
I tell everyone I come across to vote and Vote RED, even if they do not appear to be conservatives. I have a “true blue Democratic” mother in law and wife that are now second guessing. My wife is actually considering voting Republican and my mother-in-law has chosen not to vote. What a breath of fresh air for me over the last 4-6 years.
Excited to see the results Tuesday, barring any shenanigans. Tafoya, Demuth and AG candidate Schutze are our three game changers. Let’s go!
Thank you 🙏🇺🇸
Thank you –Blue Earth report. Western burb of Mpls. I voted last week, early, steady stream of voters, seniors, alot of them. Minnetonka. I don’t hear people talking about the elections. I wonder if Minnesotans are shell-shocked from all the fraud.
Brother in law is conservative Republican from Minnetonka. I know he was in line with you.
The ones not talking about the election are Dems. “They can’t handle the truth” I think this “BLUE STATE” is in for a big surprise Tuesday.
South Central Kentucky: Good crowds at the polls the day I voted early. My particular county is all Republicans running unopposed except for McConnell’s Senate seat and one local race. That is about a dozen unopposed positions including Representative. Around the state, it looks like Andy Barr is the only person running. Almost zero advertising for Booker anywhere. There will be no surprises here.
Patti Knight
Here in virginia, yard signs are a solid no for all 3 of the amendments, but my kid says that Fairfax and Loudoun are solid yes,,,since they outvote everyone else by 3:1, those amendments will pass
Sure hoping and praying they don’t pass!
NC rural / residential county near Durham.
More yard signs for Republicans for county commissioners.
Depending on where in the county more or less support for the democratic Sheriff candidate. The current republican one keeps having untoward things surface.
In general people feel tired and beat down, but I hope they have the sense to vote for Trump again.
We need the democrats to say crazy things to energize the Republicans.
We need the democrats to say crazy things to energize the Republicans.
From what I’ve seen, all across the nation they are doing exactly that – insane things.
Red county outside of Houston. There is far less on the ground enthusiasm for Talarico than there was for Beto. I think I’ve only seen half a dozen yard signs or bumper stickers this entire election season. Only one Democrat booth at our early voting place and multiple Republican. Likewise, there were multiple Republican candidates and incumbents shaking hands and talking to people when I went to vote. I’ve never seen that before. There was only one Democrat representative and she was a friend of somebody running for the school board (which has been a contentious battle over the past few years here). I didn’t get the impression she was having much luck with people.
I’m sure it’s different down in Houston proper, and probably in Austin and Dallas as well, but I just can’t imagine that Talarico’s going to clinch the black and Hispanic vote. A lot of people here are religious. Ken Paxton has his issues (whether deserved or not) but at least he’s not on record as a heretic.
One observation I have had this year is that I’ve seen more political ads for Republicans and a TON of attack ads on Democrats. I know the algorithm on Youtube serves up what it thinks you want, but in years past, I normally got nothing but pro-Democrat ads. Also, a lot of the attack ads are Hispanic women talking about how they don’t trust the Democrats on big issues like child welfare and community safety. Never seen that before, so I’m glad to see it now.
Oh, and Kamala Harris’s super PAC is running ads about how your voting record is public information so you’d better vote cause your friends and family are going to look you up. It really does feel like a threat.
They are desperate to find a reason, ANY reason, to get some of their voters out 😉
Yesterday my son and I drove to Cincinnati to see the college football game between the Bearcats and the Utah Utes.
The National Anthem was sung by a young lady who apparently has performed on Broadway quite a bit. She performed a magnificent, respectful rendition of our National Anthem.
The student section sang along, respectfully and word for word. After the Anthem was finished, the students began chanting U-S-A. It felt like a Trump rally.
This was on a college campus in a Democrat city. Young people were celebrating their country.
A group of students were dressed up as Founding Fathers (yesterday was Halloween).
There’s nothing scientific about my observations. I will say that I would be shocked if the DemonCrat fever dreams come true.
The DemonCrats will cheat for sure, but I believe turnout will be too big to rig.
Once again, I think the polls will be wrong.
That’s very encouraging for Cincinnati especially.
Thank you!
I live in a very large ‘unincorporated’ area of Harris County Texas that has always been conservative. It still is.
However, for discussion sake, I will say we are not allowed to vote for our mayor or the city council members – all of which affect us in a huge way. The county Judge ‘rules’ over us.
In 2018, the totally inexperienced far left Lina Hildago was installed as that Judge. All conservative judges across the board, lost. All but one City Council member flipped to democrat. That was the end of conservatives winning anything in Harris county.
I have experienced a few sketchy issues voting the last few times, as has a family member, and I suspect fraud will be ongoing. Having said that, our polling place had the highest turnout ever on the first day of early voting where I voted early in the day.
It was in the national news. I am praying that is a good sign, and I can hope it was too much to cheat.
We have had a huge influx of foreigners in the area over the years which could go either way. I don’t see many yard signs for either Talerico or Paxton.
I don’t believe conservatives answer phone calls, or texts from pollsters, so polls may very well look great for the Democrat/Socialists.
Cornyn never had a primary challenger before and we just held our nose and voted for him. No one wanted him – we wanted a better choice. We were elated to see Paxton run against him, albeit, we did not want to lose the best AG we ever had.
It will be up to how many conservatives get out and vote, and if the cheating can be stopped.
I have to correct myself here. Local district conservative senators and other officials do win elections outside of the city of Houston. It depends on the area. Harris county is the third most populous county in the country.
Like in many other states, the larger cities in Texas are always the ones that are blue. I still feel Paxton will win.
Retired Magistrate here: We voted early here in Delaware County, Ohio and voted red all the way. Sign wise I was seeing a lot of signs for Dems where I usually see them (we have more people moving up here from Franklin County) and now am starting to see Republican signs where I usually see them.
I am mentally preparing myself for the Dems to take both the House and Senate knowing that President Trump has a strong veto which he will use. Do I expect the House to attempt to impeach President Trump again if they take back the House, but it is up to the Senate to convict and it takes 2/3’s of the Senators to convict. In the meantime, any bills that the Dems want to pass will just be vetoed by President Trump or they can make a deal with him and he wants to make a deal.
President Trump sees the big picture of how all the moving parts come together, unfortunately most people don’t and are focused on short term items like gas prices and food prices and really don’t understand or care about the price so many individuals have paid for our freedom.
The Republicans have had both the House and Senate and didn’t do much of anything to advance President Trump’s agenda because they didn’t want to advance his agenda because it didn’t benefit them.
So, we have done what we can, voted all red, GOD is in control, President Trump is still President so we will see what happens. If you have not voted yet, do what you can do and vote. This is a big country and it is all going to depend on what state you live in, what county you live in and what township you live in.
Enjoy the day that you have because you might not have another one.
Retired Magistrate here: Having trouble seeing today; should be “Do I expect the House to attempt to impeach President Trump again if they take back the House, yes,” and “or they can make a deal with him if he wants to make a deal.”
We knew what you meant.
I have been working the polls during the early voting here in a city north of Charlotte. We are a pink county that gets redder the further you get from Charlotte.
I have listened to all the campaigns as they heckle the voters one last time as they enter the polling place. Some of the Republican and Democrat county commission candidates are banding together to form a coalition in the middle against the crazies at the extreme of each party.
The Raleigh Republicans have let Roy Cooper paint himself as a saint in every ad with out a peep about his extreme lock down policies and more during his long career here in NC. They clearly don’t want Whatley to win. They didn’t even insist on a televised debate.
Early voting was slow in the early days but has stepped up every day this past week. I worked all week and on Friday and we had 30 minute wait all day. I think our population is about 60/40 Republican to Democrat.
I have had a few say they are voting to save the country from crazy left. There does seem to be a determination on both sides.
I have deleted my Facebook app for two weeks now, and only go directly to CTH or one or two other sites for my information. I follow pollster Richard Baris and because of him I am not hopeful that we keep the house or the Senate… But I come to CTH and read from Sundance and renew my hope in the direction Trump is trying to go against all odds. I trust in God and know whatever the outcome of Tuesday ‘s election is part of His Divine plan.
I also want to thank Sundance for being my anchor in this dizzying age of too much information. His was the first voice (after Rush, of course) I found in 2015 supporting Trump. Explaining his America First agenda. I heard Rush mention this website Conservative Treehouse and I looked it up. Been here ever since
FYI – Baris is a plant and has been shown to be full of it. Don’t allow him to influence your mood or thoughts.
I don’t know what I think of the veracity of lawn signs, but here in Illinois, one would think Governor Pritzker is soon to be unemployed. Yet we know that won’t be the case. Of course, running against a candidate he actually financially supported might be some kind of clue.
However, to the north in Wisconsin, should lawn signs be any sort of indicator, our dairyland friends are doomed. Signs for the nutcase Dem candidate dominate the landscape we have seen, and that’s in the rural sections of south-central and western Wisconsin; we spend little time in the urban blue zones of Madison and Milwaukee.
second time today on these pages that i’ve see this (undocumented) accusation.
can you explain, elaborate, verify, provide a source?
would help readers evaluate the veracity of the claim.
thanks.
Here in SWFL, lots of Rs came out for early voting. Lots of enthusiasm for Byron Donalds.
. Jim Schwartzel will win Congressional seat, but I know nothing about him. He probably isn’t worthy to tie Byron’s shoes.
In my immediate neighborhood, all midwestern and northeastern transplants, almost every one of them a terminal TDS sufferer.
Their votes, fortunately, will be overwhelmed by the large red vote in this area.
I live in North East “Back country” San Diego Co, Ca. One reason I moved here from Santa Barbara is the Conservative viewpoint of my location. Carl DeMaio is represented in the State and has done a great job. That said…More Gas Tax, Property Tax, and State Tax @ around 13%…who votes for more Taxes???
Orange Co was always Red (six seats in the house) until 2016 when the results were finalized (weeks) after the dems declared a winner. The super majority, motor voter, and illegals who are allowed to vote with id, and the out of state college students, have made it impossible to declare who will win. It won’t be a Republican. The fix has been in place for far to long. I venture the Governor (Bacerra) and LA mayor (Supermajority two dems) Rammin Noodles, will be called five minutes the polls close so they get on with their Party. Anything conservative… the results will take several weeks for the results to post…Always going to the Dems
I like to believe Steve Hilton will win, but his plan for accountably in the budget and his promise to clean up the homeless and drugs, will assure my vote will be overridden by homeless encampment!
Last American to leave Ca…Take the Flag
Here in the the DPR of Maryland, the karens are out in their e cars and hybrids taking up all of the parking spots at the early voting place.
Women outnumber the men.
Not gonna lie…getting pretty freaked out here in Texas about Talafreako’s chances. My wifes’s one of the few conservative educators out there but she, along with many other conservative educators she knows and has worked with the past 26 years, are also considering either voting against Abbott and Paxton, or just not even voting. I’m pre-emptively soliciting divorce attorneys if she does either.
Try to gently point out to her the absurd and crazy things that Tallyfreako’s said and remember that there are a ton of conservatives that are determined to prevent the tallywacker from winning.
I’m in Yardley PA which is in Bucks County. I think Brian Fitzpatrick is in the hardest race he has ever faced. Not because Bob Harvie is a strong candidate but the leftists here are more energized than prior elections. I do see alot more dem lawn signs that prior elections. I don’t think those are republicans that have flipped. I feel like Republicans are less motivated than the democrats. I can’t stand Brian Fitzpatrick and refused to vote for him in the past because he is a giant RINO. I might vote for him this election because of the white progressive women around here. They are the most destructive voting block in America. Republicans better get out and vote especially in PA. We are close to losing the state senate and if that happens, we are going to end up like NY and NJ.
I might vote for him this election because of the white progressive women around here.
No might – DO IT! Our country needs every red vote it can get!!
I’m on Scott Presler’s email mailing list. I got an email from him today, which said,
“If you encounter any suspicious activities or electioneering too close to a polling location, a machine shutting down, running out of paper ballots, or any other problems, you must submit and file a report immediately.
File it right away so it can be documented and addressed.”
Then the email had link with this URL: https://protectthevote.com/report-fraud .
Let’s make that more visible:
REPORT FRAUD HERE: https://protectthevote.com/report-fraud
In my area in Minnesota there is much less enthusiasm than in 2024. Amy Klobuchar is running as a moderate and has many supporters, Peggy Flanagan running for Klobuchar’s Senate seat has fewer.
Many Republicans still dislike Trump, but they are also disturbed by both the fraud revelations and by Operation Metro Surge operating in their neighborhoods last winter.
Just did a lookup on my county’s election supervisor site . 41% turnout so far ,early & mail-in combined. Almost 50% Rep turnout. This a very red county . Early voting ends today in FL
I can’t speak to my greater community in West Georgia as I try to avoid political discussions. But on the home front, both my 25 and 20 year old daughters vote blue (I know, not happy about it, but I have faith time will bring them to the conservative side).
That being said, neither have made the effort to vote this cycle. They are not motivated to make the trip. Hopefully, this means the Democrats thought that the economy was a great motivator to increase turnout against Trump. In my small circle, this is not the case.
I’m in commiefornia, do I need to say more?
I voted early voting in western NC. There were at least 30 or more voters in front of me. A lot more coming in to vote when I left.
