Powerlineblog.com has been onto Ilhan Elmi (Omar) since 2016. According to previous reporting, Ilhan, her sister Sahra, and father got into the U.S. with a family named Omar and took their name. The rest of the clan, including her brother, went to the UK under their real surname of Elmi.
I recall seeing screen shots of Ilan’s visits with her UK siblings where she identified them as her family. Unless the Instagram posts were faked (and that is unlikely) she (and her sister and father) committed immigration identity fraud.
Her sister Sahra has deep connections with the Feeding Our Future fraudsters, and they certainly have been feeding THEIR futures for several decades. One need only look at Ilhan’s suddenly appearing and then disappearing wealth. Her campaign paid million$ to her campaign consultant, and then she married him. His many sketchy business dealings should also be under investigation.
An Alpha News article published in August 2016, “Further Investigation Suggests Omar Married Brother,” noted that her brother “husband” Ahmed Nur Said Elmi’s name follows the Somali custom of being named after his father, which is the same name as her father. Alpha News confirmed that the legal name for Omar’s father is Nur Said Elmi Mohamed.
Ilhan “Omar” is just another Somali fraudster, though she’s been at it longer. Her citizenship relies on her father’s (unconfirmed) citizenship.
Many more details have been published by PowerLine and Alpha News. It is unbelievable that a federal investigation has taken years. She needs to be denaturalized and deported for immigration fraud, bigamy, conspiracy, wire fraud, bribery, and money laundering. In 2025 “Omar” gave a speech in Somali saying she would “protect the interests of Somalia from inside the US system.” Send her back and let her protect Somali interests in Somalia. She can take Tim Mynett with her. Ban her from ever entering this country again.
I suggest we rename the Presidential Politics thread to: “The Charlotte 99 Blog.”..
She is a value added to this site in my opinion.

I just voted in South GA. There was a state constitutional amendment for the nonpartisan voting of probate court judges. I chose, no. That’s a way to hide commies getting elected. “Nonpartisan” elections are just ways to hide bad traitorous people.
Another institution under attack. DAR went woke and is allowing men into the organization. Leadership using heavy handed, totalitarian, decidedly un-American tactics to silence critics.
