I am in a pickle,
The state of Delaware’s republican party has endorsed Dr. Mike Katz for state senator. When my husband told me this, I said wow, why would they do this, he is not a republican. He has in the past used the civil rights argument to defend and supported the trans-gender movement. As far as I know he supported the law Delaware legislators passed and the governor signed to protect doctors from being sued by people/victims who were convinced their mental health would be better after they mutilated themselves. He was all in on mandatory covid shots. He supports a universal health care system. He is all in on the climate change green new deal. Now suddenly we are supposed to forget all of that and believe he is as his flyer states supportive of
Securing the Border- no information available on deportation
Protecting the second amendment- he must be member because he did show up at the gun range my husband goes to on cleanup day to help clean up.
No corporate or special interest money- this one I believe because he has changed his stripes so many times since 2012 no one in those two groups probably wants to give him money.

Drill bay drill- this I do not believe because it conflicts with his previous support of the climate change green new deal. His words describing climate change” we need to get in front of it”.
XX=female XY = male – maybe his mind has changed after seeing all the damage being done but I just don’t know if I can trust this
I have never been this conflicted over a primary vote.
Is he holding any town hall meetings, if so hold his feet to the proverbial fire…ask the uncomfortable quesitons? To find out where he stands on the President’s agenda (MAGA)….? Surely you are not the only one that is ‘conflicted’? I would vet him a little deeper, if that is possible…sounds like he wants to be a RINO?
Has he openly declared he is no longer a member of the party that holds to the initial beliefs? Has the local RNC given reasons to vote for him? Check out the local Republican committees’ websites?

all great questions, but by definition, if one intends to “vote for the lesser of two evils” anyway, why should or would he care what you want? how would that be holding his feet to the fire?

I was also thinking along the lines of trying to get a ‘statement’ of some sort of committment…haha yes I know, politicians tell us what we want to hear…
Who is his primary challenger? We know that the RINOs are governed by their checkbooks and continue to sell out real Republicans.
I would suggest you investigate both Republican candidates and make your own decision based on known knowledge and your own personal values. This could clearly be a case of the lesser of two problem choices. When it comes to voting I would encourage you to listen to your own voice, never to a group just because they are the party elite.

I voted early for John Shulli, Katz’s primary opponent since I know Katz is a POS RINO for sure. Katzs has a billboard that reads “FIRE COONS” (our current non-representing Senator) so of course most of the sheep will pull his lever without digging deeper. I despise COON DOG with a passion but not sure anything would change with a Katz victory over Coons. We’re talking “DelaWhere?” here that hasn’t had an R senator in over 20 years.

For some reason after reading your post a memory came to my mind of watching a former governor, Gov. Markell speaking at a governor’s luncheon about how the state of Delaware will become a state with a highly educated science and technology driven workforce.
You don’t have to vote for the GOP endorsed candidates. Most didn’t in MN. All but one of the MNGOP endorsed candidates lost their primaries except the one who ran unopposed. Turns out that neither result is in the interests of the grassroots and likely will turn into abysmal turnout in Nov.
We have a democrat in republican garb, Lisa Demuth, running for governor against shaky Amy, huge loss coming there. We also have Michelle Tafoya, RINO Trump hater, running against Piggy Flanagan, native American just like liawatha Liz Warren, not even liked by the governor who appointed her.
On the other hand, this situation has convinced a number of MAGA Patriots to run for chair of the MNGOP because our leadership incompetence hasn’t won a statewide race in 20 years.

You are correct in saying there are zero trans people in the USA and I sure do wish more people would say this. Sex/Gender cannot be changed; therefore, no trans people exist. People who like to pretend they are someone other than who they are have a severe mental illness. Thus, no trannies should be allowed in govt. positions , medical positions, or in education.
There are RARE cases when an individual is XY but the hormone program in utero goes wrong, they are born looking female, but they are screwed up internally. I knew one as an acquaintance 3 decades ago; the problem was diagnosed when she was 12 (after a 4-year long menstrual period!), and she decided to keep on as she had been raised. Sterile, and to be honest, rather ugly, but she was one of the kindest people I have ever known.

Let’s take a Massachusetts voter who says they will sit it out. The state has gone so far left that there are no Republican House reps, Senators, or any other state office holders. Just a token amount of Republican state legislators, where the Dems have huge supermajorities. Republicans have but 8% of total registered voters.
A Massachusetts Republican voting in a midterm election can be deemed an exercise in futility.

The few times you may get a Republican governor during a midterm you will always be getting a RINO who will be under the thumb of the supermajority Dems in the legislature.

there are tens of millions of right-leaning people that have never voted or even registered. Too busy I guess. If half of them started participating, the left would have to up its cheating game beyond 2020 Steal levels. The right needs to start doing what the democrats do. Get these unregistered people legally registered and then manufacture a ballot on their behalf (with their implied consent, of course). Then mail it in. Once counted, it can’t be uncounted. The courts have been consistent with that lie.

I had a strange but wonderful dream last night!
In my dream I was touring the Smithsonian Museum in DC and entered a large room that I hadn’t seen before, with displays of the Nativity…the baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Magi, the Star of Bethlehem, angels, shepherds, etc. all encased behind walls of glass. And (in my dream) I thought, “This is so good! I know Trump is behind this!”
Then today I see a news piece that President Trump has ordered the Smithsonian to replace a colossal, weird, modernist statue in front of the museum with an equally colossal statue of George Washington!
So amazing to me that my dream foreshadowed something similar that was actually happening at the Smithsonian…and I wanted to let CTH readers know!

I had a dream last night also. I dreamt I opened my living room curtains, and it was like I watching a nature show. My street had been taken over by elephants, sea lions and walruses. They were fighting amongst themselves and then suddenly the elephants formed a circle around the sea lions and walruses and started stomping on them until they all lay dead. I don’t consider it a nightmare because I was not afraid or felt any danger. It was a crazy dream.

my options are :
1) follow my education and MSM media to tell me what is “right” or “wrong”, believe my government to tell me the “way things are”, and if I am a “good” citizen follow the laws of the country.
2) Follow GOD ALMIGHTY that created everything and it’s SPIRIT flows through the whole universe, and that GOD LAWS are written in our CENTER (God-GIVEN).

Yesterday I got stuck in a supermarket checkout line behind a heavyset black woman with two carts and who was paying with an EBT card: $247.

One struggles to bite their tongue as they watch their taxpayer dollars go into at least three large cases of soda, one large box of mixed types of chips, and several oversized boxes of breakfast cereals. Also a large case of bottled water.
I thought there was an effort to prevent federal monies from buying junk food, but it obviously hasn’t succeeded yet.
Nobody else is buying my groceries so I don’t buy that much.
