My granddaughter lives in Minnesota with her hubby and my 3 little, beautiful greats. They don’t have a playroom, but they do have a large Lego room with shelves filled with finished Lego projects. One of them just has to grow up to be an architect.
My brother and his friends built a treehouse, with a roof and everything, and a rock wall around the tree and a walkway. It was spectacular, life size, and livable. The materials they gathered around the town.
They all went on to be a part of the building trades and masonry crews. My son got to see The Treehouse and became a draftsman, then builder; he built his own house on a hill like the treehouse. His kids are Lego collectors, but not builders.
My son has pretty much every Star Wars lego set ever made. He likes the BIG ones, 6000 bricks or so. He liked them as a kid but now that he makes his own money he can get every one he wants. He also has a room with shelves.
Excellent plan! And I have good news for you. There’s one roof type you can build with 100% accuracy* in Lego.
*Except you never have enough white bricks, and I guess you might have to file off some knobs down one one side of the top rows.

I owned an old Queen Ann Victorian (over 160 years old in 2000) at one time that had a cistern in the basement, though roof water no longer drained to it. It wasn’t that unusual at one time.

A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

lots of times when we talk or write, we can’t answer everybodies questions in a few sentences or short speech. But the HATERS will point out how you missed this, or didn’t address this , or “focus” on what you didn’t say. We all understand this when it comes to when “we” speak or write, but we might not give the same “understanding” when others speak or write.
For example, many times I may say something “spiritual”, … but I might not talk about the Trinity, or Jesus Christ, or some scripture that someone posts (without saying their view on what I actually DID SAY. Happens to all of us.
So, maybe focus on what the other person is actually saying, and not what they are not saying … MSM does this all the time. A Compton man was sentenced today to 36 months in federal prison for assaulting and injuring a federal officer by throwing chunks of concrete at passing government vehicles during an anti-immigration law enforcement riot last year in Paramount.
Elpidio Reyna, 42, was sentenced by United States District Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha.
Reyna pleaded guilty on February 17 to one felony count of assault on a federal officer by deadly or dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury. He has been in federal custody since July 2025.
“Disagreeing with laws passed by Congress does not give you a right to assault federal officers,” said First Assistant United States Attorney Bill Essayli. “This defendant thought he would go unpunished for throwing chunks of concrete at law enforcement. Instead, he’ll be serving time in federal prison, where he can reflect on his poor decision.”
Good, but there should be hundreds of these clowns going to prison for assaulting federal officers, not just one.

John Fetterman posts a 77 percent approval rating with the state’s Republicans and a 19 percent approval rating with the Democrats who put him in office. 57 percent of his own party’s voters think he should quit the Democrats altogether. If a hedge fund manager posted numbers like that, cheered by the people who bet against him and booed by his own investors, you’d call it a contrarian trade gone spectacularly right or wrong depending who’s asking. In the Senate, they’re calling it treason.
Is Fetterman the last commonsense Democrat, the final holdout against a party that traded working class instincts for ideological purity tests? Probably not the last. But he may be the last one with a big enough platform and a thick enough skin to say so out loud in public, on camera, at his own party’s expense. That distinction matters more than his critics want to admit.
Fetterman talks the talk but walks the democrat walk in the senate and is a reliable democrat vote. He’s not really all that different than most of them. He has found a niche he can fit into that gets him attention and his name on the news cycle.
