Trump has stood by and watched Perfect murder Good for 8 years – maybe longer. He’s not gonna do it. He’s going to deliver the best outcome possible, and he’s not waiting for us to feel relaxed about it.
Best presidency ever! Just hang on. More winning is coming, but a lot of people are going to scream that it’s all over at EVERY turn.
The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.
Day 231 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius. History is being made in the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2026.
We cannot allow the weak-kneed women to continue to cry about life over freedom.. Whenever the women get in charge chaos always follows. They will sell out freedom because it is too difficult for the women to obey the law. Yesterday, I went to the Railroad Museum at the Kankakee train station….two freight trains flew by, the museum curator told us that they were about a mile long.

Awesome antiques of the early railway days, lots of model trains inside…plus some old momentos of the old rail road days. China from the dining cars, an old conductor suit, hat…old lanterns…lots of various size model trains…a model train afficianado’s delight.
A dining car menu from an old train line (I forget which), from the 1950’s, had caviar listed as an appetizer…for a $1.50…
If ever in the region, I recomend a quick stop…admission free for kids and two dollars for adults…we got to go in an old passenger car and a Union Pacific caboose…pretty cool! A video from someone on YT:

IMHO, we have assited suicide (to some extent), its called “Hospice”.
This ‘assisted suicide’ is another slippery slope, kind of like the new abortion law in Massachusetts.

My wife asked for that, so I honored her request. If I had know what it would do to me, I would not have agreed to it.

My hospice was not assisted suicide.
The hospital could not do any more so they were sending him to a nursing home to die of Alzheimers.
Alzheimers is considered dementia.
However, it is a real sickness.
In the end you cannot swallow.
I had visions of giving him his protein drink but no after a meeting at the hospital I understood along with my friends/advocates that were with me he was dying.
Everyone has a journey.
We have 43 years of good memories.

I saw what “hospice” did to my dad, so I, too, would never consider it.
Sorry you (and your wife) had a bad experience with hospice. My mom did not. Her decision. I helped care for her for 2 1/2 months before she passed. That part wasn’t easy but as I kept telling my mom, it was an honor to care for her. God made me strong so that I could handle that for her. My siblings couldn’t and that’s ok too. My FIL passed away in our home, two weeks after going onto hospice, when he was done with all of the constant treatments that were keeping his body alive but not giving him any quality of life. He spent two weeks surrounded by his family, eating all of his favorite foods, calling his oldest friends to say his good byes…and then passed with almost no pain as his body wound down.
My SIL died in a nursing home, in a stark ugly room without her husband or children there, because she refused to believe that the cancer had spread throughout her entire body and kept insisting that the doctors “do everything possible”…
Hospice may not be the best option for everyone but for many people, it is a valid choice – and no, I do NOT consider it “assisted suicide” to decline treatment and to accept pain meds instead, when it is obvious that the body is done fighting!
My relatives did that to my grandmother. When they told me what it consisted of, I said “so she was starved to death?”
But it was apparently something she agreed to, so IDK. It would be hard either way

On the sports and financial channels I watch, I’d say at least half of the ads are political, almost always negative, deceptive bullshit about their opponents. We’ve received over a hundred campaign flyers in the mail. We’ve had at least three campaign volunteer visits to our door in the past few weeks. I’m getting the requisite robotexts and junk email. All of this to possibly change the votes of a tiny percentage that haven’t decided. Of the people reading this, have you or anyone you know EVER changed their votes based on all this advertising? If only there was a clues these pieces of shit were going to lie to us and waste our money when they got into office.

I’ve been reading CTH almost daily since 2015.
The pastor and I started discussing the war over a cup of coffee after the service, almost by accident.
I thought it would be useful to get out of my echo chamber once in a while and watched a few of the professor’s videos.
The points that I found interesting have to do with Putin’s motivation for starting the war. He broke the Budapest agreement by doing it. There were no real threats coming from Ukraine, only perceived. There are no solid indicators or evidence that the West wanted to break up Russia even further, apart from some obscure pieces of interviews with some former US officials. It does look like a territory grab instead of a defensive action.
I am not trying to promote this guy or anything like that. I’m just your average Joe, trying to make sense of it all.

Might be true or not, but I have been staying with a seriously sleep-deprived mother of a baby who can ALMOST walk. Meanwhile his mom is moody/ cranky from lack of sleep although she adores baby (and i do too).
Sleep is underrated generally i remember public schools offering all-night sleepover events that seemed utterly boneheaded to me. Next day the sleep-deprived children were uaually cranky and unbrarable.
When I worked for a 24 hour law firm doing clerical work, the lawyers would sometimes apologize upfront: “please forgive me if I am snappish, I haven’t slept in two nights, working”.
And of course we understand a foul mood in a sleep deprived professional, but how about mothers if infants who are up nights for months/years? Our system is not set up to recognize the resulting difficulties and innocents suffer as a result. Might some influential voices get to work on this?

That ‘floor’ environment was literally the opposite of “therapeutic” or “healing” for my badly injured family member.

The House passed their version of the SAVE act in Feb 2026. The European Union is set to propose a ban on waste exports which includes aluminum and other scrap metals as there are indications the various smelter operators in those nations are running out of materials financially efficient to recover vs the expense of opening new mines.

I think that the nations in europe are closer than they realize to be in dire need of trade with Russia since that seems to be the one nation on that continent, outside of China, that will be in a position to provide the basic needs of survival to the people in europe, from fuel for heating oil and running industries, and basic materials such as fertilizers to grow food and lumber (EU nations cut down forests to put in solar panel farms).

My senior year of high school I had to write a paper concerning a current day topic. Roe v Wade had been law for just over a year, and I remember well all the ‘we are women, hear us roar’ cries coming from every direction.
I was living through every step, every law, every T.V. show (Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, Maude, That Girl, etc., ad nauseam), every special woman’s product (you’ve come a long way, baby for Virginia Slims cigarettes), every song, everything thing that could be crammed on the entire world telling us how special women were ballooned in the 1970s.
So in a world where women had sex outside of marriage and murdered any “mistakes” that came along, where they fought to work outside the home, where they found men holding doors open for them offensive — yet still expected men to pay for dinner due to wage disparity (ah ha), where women wanted to “bring home the bacon, and fry it up in a pan”. . . I decided to write my paper on the roll of women as stay-at-home-mothers and wives.
The teacher of that class was a woman who loved showing her students how progessive she was.
When my paper was returned it had a note on it telling me how the world had changed and life wasn’t “that way” any longer.
She was so busy beating the feminist drum that she didn’t see the class of graduating students before her had already lived through all the crap she was selling, and some of us were already sick of it.
I still have that paper packed away, and every once in a while run into it again and read the note she wrote. And as I come up to celebrating 52 years of faithful, committed Christian marriage and being a wife under the headship of my husband, I wonder where she is and what she is doing. And I pray my old fashioned words back then may have made a difference in her life.

Their job was to sit on wooden benches for 10 hours a day, six days a week, picking out pieces of slate and rock from moving streams of coal. The coal dust filled their lungs, cut their hands, and often crushed their fingers in the machinery. They were paid 60 cents a day. Many were under 12 years old, though the law said they had to be 14. The companies hired them because their small fingers were better at picking slate.
