Is this AI generated or did they really have a dog collection? My first dog growing up was a Bernese named Suzy. What a great dog she was. Extremely protective of all of us, especially us girls. An Aunt gave her to us and, at the time, was not aware she was carrying. She had eight puppies, which were a menagerie, not pure bred. They were the cutest puppies though. One looked just like her. Loved her and Love the memories this brings me.

Part of our tax problem is that over 50% of the country pay No federal income taxes. In effect, there is no incentive for half the population to care about spending, graft, exploding deficits, fraud, etc.
My old dad when he was near the end (and not paying federal income tax) used to say that everyone ought to pay something, even a nominal $100, so that they would feel invested in events, in effect have skin in the game. Not a bad idea.
And the rest pick up the bill…sans, of course, those people or corporations wealthiest enough to avoid paying through the advice of their tax lawyers they can afford to keep on speed dial.
It would help if taxpayer money weren’t handed out like Halloween candy to individuals or groups we’ve all been reading about. This is why I have to laugh hysterically when reading about congressional “Oversight” committees.
The recent reports regarding the Somali invasion and takeover of Lewiston, Maine should make Americans’ skin crawl. Should.
Their Medicaid fraud perpetrated on American taxpayers is epic. And, that is only one facet of their mass thieving.
There are areas in Lewiston where people are attacked while walking their dogs, in effect no-go zones for our dogs!
I visited Lewiston over 50 years ago. It was exactly as you would imagine: New England architecture, white spired churches, people walking on the green. Now it is Halal stores, women in garbage bags, and NGOs literally attached to their mosques. Fewer than 10% of the “migrant” children are working up to grade level.

Olive is hanging in, thank heaven. She has only 30% kidney function and a few other glitches, so I’m realistic about long term, but……one of her vets (she has 3!) suggested euthanasia 9 weeks ago, and yesterday she was running and even bucked! Wish I had a picture.
We lost our sweet boy Ozzie last week (how I know about needing time to one’s self). His sister and littermate, 19y/o Harriet has taken a turn for the worse
since then. She has advanced kidney disease, and I fear is nearing her end. It is all a bit overwhelming, and I am trying to be optimistic. ❤️

Yes, dear Corny, no Garrison, and I must say I am concerned. This happened a couple of years ago when he was MIA for a week at least. Turned out his computer was the issue, and we all breathed a sigh of relief when he came back. But he has mentioned health issues receently-ish, and so I am a wee bit unmoored. Won’t make up my own stories, but instead offer prayers for his well being and quick return…………

Good morning Truli. You are correct. The bottom picture resembles my Beau. Are they that rare? I was not aware of this. I got him at the shelter when he was about 10 months old. He was a stray they picked up. Saw his photo, loved his face, and he had been there already a month, and no one had adopted him, so I went and got him Memorial Day weekend about 5 years ago.
He has been quite the dog. Very protective, and kills snakes with a vengeance! He loves my son and grandson when they visit. He has also given me plenty of laughs.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 61
David seeks God upon former experience. (1-4) He vows to serve God. (5-8)
1-4 David begins with prayers and tears, but ends with praise. Thus the soul, being lifted up to God, returns to the enjoyment of itself. Wherever we are, we have liberty to draw near to God, and may find a way open to the throne of grace. And that which separates us from other comforts, should drive us nearer to God, the fountain of all comfort. Though the heart is overwhelmed, yet it may be lifted up to God in prayer. Nay, I will cry unto thee, for by that means it will be supported and relieved. Weeping must quicken praying, and not deaden it. God’s power and promise are a rock that is higher than we are. This rock is Christ. On the Divine mercy, as on a rock, David desired to rest his soul; but he was like a ship-wrecked sailor, exposed to the billows at the bottom of a rock too high for him to climb without help. David found that he could not be fixed on the Rock of salvation, unless the Lord placed him upon it. As there is safety in Him, and none in ourselves, let us pray to be led to and fixed upon Christ our Rock. The service of God shall be his constant work and business: all must make it so who expect to find God their shelter and strong tower. The grace of God shall be his constant comfort.
5-8 There is a people in the world that fear God’s name. There is a heritage peculiar to that people; present comforts in the soul, earnests of future bliss. Those that fear God have enough in him, and must not complain. We need desire no better heritage than that of those who fear God. Those abide to good purpose in this world, who abide before God, serve him, and walk in his fear; those who do so, shall abide before him for ever. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

FAKE NEWS CNN just had a meltdown on live TV. Their complaint?

On a side note, My dad was in the Navy almost 30 years and was always stationed on an Aircraft Carrier. I do not remember ever having him not out to sea on a tour of duty. I loved watching the Carriers dock when they came back after their tours.
Also, my dad’s friends, Marines, Airmen, Sailors were all real, bonafide, testosterone filled, “hubba hubba” men. I say, “Go For It” SOD Hegseth, This is what we so desperately need.

pride, greed, envy, gluttony, lust, wrath, and sloth. (They are described as vices that spur other sins and lead to further immoral behavior.)
Well, just see these sins as WARNING you are getting off the PATH. And going in WRONG DIRECTION.
So STOP!
Now, you as ego don’t have the POWER to stop, … you can try people, places and things … to “help you stop” ….but they will ALL FAIL YOU! Every single one will FAIL YOU!
So what works. You should ASK that Question. And when you FIND it, you will FIND GOD and the 7 deadly sins, will just become your alert system … to let you know you are starting to walk away from GOD. So STOP … and return to GOD , and when you are re-connected those 7 deadly sins will be gone.
Just meditate on those SINS … and go to GOD … and have a chat with GOD ALMIGHTY … and become a child of GOD again. GOD ALMIGHTY is all powerful! Your ego is not all powerful.

And gee, why am I not surprised at the individual that pulled off this disgusting stunt! There are no appropriate, decent words to describe what I am thinking and feeling! I am so weary of the shenanigans (I am being kind using this word), occurring with a particular group of individuals in our society.

HORROR: Six ‘Youths’ Savagely Beat and Rob Couple at Los Angeles Mall, Knock Children Out of Their Strollers
Six black ‘youths’ savagely beat a man and robbed his girlfriend at a Los Angeles mall earlier this week.
The savage beating happened in front of the couple’s children. The children were also knocked from their strollers during the violent robbery.
According to reports, six blacks ages 16-20 were harassing patrons at the Culver City Westfield Mall before they decided to attack the family.
The male victim suffered life-altering injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police have located and arrested four of the suspects so far.
Only two of the suspects were identified: 18-year-old Zahier Frazier of Panorama City and 24-year-old Keira Wilis of Los Angeles.
The names of the minor teen suspects were not released.
