The ones who had been sent were from the Pharisees. They asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”

Venezuela is still formally a member of OPEC. Expect that to change as their oil exports increase. The UAE already left OPEC. In Short OPEC’s ability to control global oil output and thus commodity pricing is gradually diminishing and will continue to do so when Iran’s regime falls. And yes, it is going to fall and when it does the Iranians will remember who supported them and who supported the Islamic regime that murdered millions of them. I don’t think there is any way a new Persian run American friendly Iran will join up with Arab/Islamic states to govern oil production.
