Thank you for posting the classical guitar music. I really enjoy guitar. As a college student in the mid-1960s, Los Romeros came to my campus and performed. That was my first exposure to classical and Spanish guitar. The Romeros continue to perform with younger family members now a part. Here’s a fun performance during a full concert. Notice playing one-handed on the neck. Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for your informative post. I first heard the Romeros when I was a college freshman. I was captivated by their playing. Went on to acquire a cheap classical and begin lessons with a guy in Houston. That was the start of a lifetime of classical guitar enthusiasm.
Over time I had the pleasure of meeting the Romero family. I’d never met genuine virtuosos so knowing them was an exciting experience. At one of Pepe’s master classes, I watched him play a complex piece . . . can’t recally its name. That was a moment when I realized I was never going to be a virtuoso. The experience allowed me to remain a classical guitar enthusiast. That was 60 years ago and I still enjoy the classical guitar.

Many years ago, my dad pondered the possibility of setting up a system in this country to pipe excess water from flooded areas to drought ridden parts of the USA – as we do with gas and oil.

It is a rather convoluted business, as a general rule everyone seems to know each other, even if they do not publicly admit to it as it might disclose an advantage to someone else.
For example, Wrecking Crew members were intentionally never given credit on anyone’s music for a reason yet everyone within music knew them.
I personally would equate it to cooking recipes, rarely (esp my commercially sold ones) will never be disclosed & when I had employees, I personally pre-mixed the sensitive ones so they would not be… stolen. As it was a few months after I opened there were copy cats of some of my items “new” around town.

We are witnessing the final bout of a fight that has gone on for 1,300 years.
Since Islam’s inception, it has fought other faiths and peoples for power and control. Even during the days of Muhammad, Jews were attacked and murdered. One does not have to make much of an effort to find formerly Christian or other faith countries conquered by Muslims, whether way back when or more recently. Islam, George W. Bush’s “religion of peace,” is a movement of conquest, and no small number of Muslims are quite proud to say the same. Many of their leaders say as much when they discuss their wish to defeat Israel and the West.
Whereas Christians in the past fought back against Islamic conquest, as in the days of the Crusaders, it would appear that many of today’s Western countries, which were founded on Christian ideas and religion, are ready to come out with their hands up. They have given up on their religion, history, accomplishments, and culture. If they held only one of those dear, they might try to fight back, but as we see in Europe, they would rather hand out flyers on how not to rape or sexually assault the locals than actually stop the import of the future attackers.
Isn’t something wrong with this picture if you import people who have no business being in your country and then you give them some bland instructions not to attack the local womenfolk? In 1850, they would have simply turned them back or shot out their rubber boats.
Islam’s purpose has been one of world conquest since its inception. There are many ways to conquer, from war to immigration and reproduction. And while there are active fights between Muslims and Jews in Israel and Muslims and a Christian America presently in Iran, most of the fighting is done at the immigration offices and maternity wards of European (and American) cities. And while America has taken in and assimilated numerous waves of immigrant groups, many Muslims have stated that they have zero interest in becoming “good Americans,” but rather see their purpose as propagating a caliphate to the ends of the Earth.
And while there is some satisfaction in seeing a Muslim town refusing to put up gay “pride” flags, the larger issue of Sharia law supplanting American jurisprudence spells the possible end of the American experiment.

If our culture has given up the good things and become corrupt and deviant, then we are no better than our adversaries and will become subservient to them.

COMMENTARY FOR 2 PETER 1
This epistle clearly is connected with the former epistle of Peter. The apostle having stated the blessings to which God has called Christians, exhorts those who had received these precious gifts, to endeavour to improve in graces and virtues. They are urged to this from the wickedness of false teachers. They are guarded against impostors and scoffers, by disproving their false assertions, ch. #3:1-7|, and by showing why the great day of Christ’s coming was delayed, with a description of its awful circumstances and consequences; and suitable exhortations to diligence and holiness are given.Exhortations to add the exercise of various other graces to faith (1-11) The apostle looks forward to his approaching decease. (12-15) And confirms the truth of the gospel, relating to Christ’s appearing to judgment. (16-21)
1-11 Faith unites the weak believer to Christ, as really as it does the strong one, and purifies the heart of one as truly as of another; and every sincere believer is by his faith justified in the sight of God. Faith worketh godliness, and produces effects which no other grace in the soul can do. In Christ all fulness dwells, and pardon, peace, grace, and knowledge, and new principles, are thus given through the Holy Spirit. The promises to those who are partakers of a Divine nature, will cause us to inquire whether we are really renewed in the spirit of our minds; let us turn all these promises into prayers for the transforming and purifying grace of the Holy Spirit. The believer must add knowledge to his virtue, increasing acquaintance with the whole truth and will of God. We must add temperance to knowledge; moderation about worldly things; and add to temperance, patience, or cheerful submission to the will of God. Tribulation worketh patience, whereby we bear all calamities and crosses with silence and submission. To patience we must add godliness: this includes the holy affections and dispositions found in the true worshipper of God; with tender affection to all fellow Christians, who are children of the same Father, servants of the same Master, members of the same family, travellers to the same country, heirs of the same inheritance. Wherefore let Christians labour to attain assurance of their calling, and of their election, by believing and well-doing; and thus carefully to endeavour, is a firm argument of the grace and mercy of God, upholding them so that they shall not utterly fall. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

If we continually break down emotions and thought to smaller pieces we will see so many choices we allow that are fear.When you embrace fear we can change it ignore or repress it allows evil in to grow. It will consume all. Faith cultivated will grow eventually fear will be but a small speck. Goliath was a speck in David’s way.

I met my husband at The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Friday midnight in LA. It was so weird, but I have fond memories of it. We had a good show, with a real motorcycle at the appropriate time, many people with their Bics lit. It really was so weird, and we were both pretty normal people. He died in 2004.
