Maybe it’s regional? Adams is made in Tacoma WA. The company was bought out by Smuckers many years ago. As I understand it Smuckers has an all natural peanut butter that is like Adams. Compare the ingredients.
The original Adams was peanuts and sea salt. Nothing else.
And having to stir it again and again?
Which is necessary if it only has peanuts in it.
Food isn’t just ingredients. Though ingredients should matter.
When we were first having to eat margarine, we were sending our butter to the USSR as part of Lend Lease. Supposedly to treat burns. Later idiots declared butter as “bad” and pushed margarine. Now money is pushing margarine as “bad”. I don’t trust any of it.
We have banned partially hydrogenated oils. But fully hydrogenated oils are still permitted. I tend to look at the “health” system that scares and bans, and all its fear mongering and pseudo science and unnatural “solutions” as more evil than any food.
More natural and less processed is a good rule of thumb, but it doesn’t make processing “bad”.
Fats, sugars, and added salts are “natural” but added to make us like processed food better. And they are often disguised in ingredient lists with many names, though the health label summarizes totals.
I have found I now need to depend on the allergen label. After that I prioritize liking the food, then next the natural over processed rule of thumb. I do give a nod to avoiding oversalted food, though that often comes down to skipping adding salt to high salt content foods.
I have a little more time to cook. Coupled with a need to avoid allergens, that enables reducing processed foods. But I don’t want to spend all day cooking. So I haven’t eliminated processed foods.
Unfortunately it is not easy avoiding allergens dining out. Chains are more likely to have allergen menus. Even then, there may not be much I can eat. And asking for ‘changes’ doesn’t work out well. Combined, it makes it easier to eat allergen safe fast food than to do so at a nice sit down restaurant. Though finding the allergen safe menu and hunting for food I can eat is still a pain, so I cook more and eat out much less.

The U.S. court system is 100% broken, and nothing shows that fact better than this case out of Pennsylvania.
Safon Gump was accused of fatally shooting Gregory Prince, but the trial that would have brought justice to Gump derailed because one of the jurors got high in the jury room.
Because Gump remains in custody — and court rules prohibit jurors from seeing a defendant in handcuffs for fear it could prejudice them — jurors were returned to their fifth-floor room to await the all clear to leave for lunch.
When Common Pleas Judge Edward J. Borkowski’s tipstaff arrived to release the jurors, Seman said, ‘He’s immediately hit with the smell of marijuana.’
Then, one of the jurors ‘looked at him and said, ‘It wasn’t me.”‘
One by one, the jurors were brought to the judge’s chambers privately and questioned.
They all answered no in chambers, as well.
The judge also asked the jurors if anyone had ingested anything legally or illegally while in the jury room.

I started seeing ads on CTH website pages a few weeks ago. I did some research and started blocking ad websites using the Brave Adblock content filtering syntax. Here is the process I use:

Advertisements are served from different domains than the “advertisee”, it just points back to their domain to buy product.
You will also have to block the ad server address/domain, IDK how to accomplish this in a phone OS, on a PC you can view page source & find it there.
FWIW, I just use a VPN that includes known ad domain block, but using that has other issues, Utool really hates me, they cannot serve ads to me & tries to force a sign in to see anything. (you can switch to a country that they serve no ads to & just do a capcha instead.)

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
