My late Dad and I both respected Joseph diGenova and affirm his competence. That diGenova is 81 years old further affirms my belief that he will do whatever it takes. No leaks from the investigation is exactly his style.

I was one of Bongino’s more vocal supporters, here on CTH and elsewhere (online).
There has been a pattern of him saying he has important “inside” information about hot political topics that he cannot share at the time he says it but implying – through context at the time and in the particular discussion when he says it – that the information he has would affect people’s opinions on the person or topic at hand.
Unfortunately I have concluded that is a gimmick that Bongino uses to deflect from the truth and to try to sustain his public persona as a reliable “truth seeker above all.” He has a very spotty record of revealing such “insider” critical info at the time it’s badly needed – or any time soon enough – to deflate or destroy anti-Trump / anti-MAGA campaigns.
So when I hear or read those assertions made by Bongino that ha knows something but cannot reveal it now or until some vague future time, I ignore it.
There’s an old old saying from poker – Put up or shut up.
Years ago, I found Bongino to be an interesting podcast. But after 6 weeks or so of hearing about the forthcoming bombshell revelations or the explosive news that was coming……that never came, I’d had enough of Dan. No one uses “bombshell” more than Bongino. He’s better than Hannity for sure, but what a low bar that is.
Bongino is just another one of the standard bullshitters that DC and the better part of the northeast coastal region provide the rest of the country. He sounded too much like “tick-tock” Hannity with all of his “bombshell” pronouncements.
I sensed this from Dan after just a few short tune-ins to his program, and it looks like that was a good decision – rather watch paint dry.

Regarding the original post. Wiles thought Bovino was too extreme and pushed for a change in direction regarding hunting down illegals. This made ICE look bad and caused Bovino to resign. Ed Martin was working in Pardons. He might not be that interested. He was removed from the DOJ Weaponization Group awhile ago and the DOJ Weaponization Group is no longer.

Ed Martin was moved to Pardons after being removed from the Weaponizationing Working Group (which is no longer). Maybe he decided to leave the DOJ.
Meanwhile , not a single one of the conspirators who repeatedly tried to imprison our president has gone to jail.

They haven’t even been dragged in for questioning, let alone arrested, charged, tried or jailed. These arse clowns wont get any case to square 1.
How about Pres Trump assembles a team made up some or all of the various people and just locks down on the all the criminality that has happened over the last 12yrs (I know it’s longer) and convict these people in a FL or TX court where we have constitutional thinking judges.
My team would consist of: Stephen Miller, Bill Pulte, Ed Martin, Andy Biggs, Ken Paxton, Tulsi Gabbard, Matt Gaetz, possibly Jim Jordan but he’s been absent lately, Hawley can give off good vibes at times, George Papadopoulos, Sidney Powell, Kari Lake, Sen Moreno, Devin Nunes was a fighter but unsure now, James O’Keefe – we need guys to stir up the shiz, Lara Logan, Nick Shirley, and I’m sure I’m missing some and then the Team will be led by Sundance…connecting all the dots for prosecution.
That picture of Nartin and Tucker leads me to believe that this will be an effort to squash Tucker’s new group.
The interview with Tucker was May 2025 regarding Government Weaponization. Not sure Ed Martin is currently involved with Tucker.
I don’t think he is either. Tucker and his group of rogue republicans are a threat to the upcoming elections which President Trump alluded to in his statement. Dividing the conservative base is their goal.
Putting Martin in that unique position could be a strategic move.
Additionally, this move also frees up Martin. I cannot imagine the DOJ fighting these scoundrels without people saying that Trump has weaponized that Department. It brings back memories of the JFK/RFK tandem.

Once it bacame apparent that Benedict Thune and the RINO herd were not going to Act to Save America, maybe they realized Ed would have to head up the nationwide lawyer team to hold the Dems (and probably some RINOs) to the election laws.
If he was going to become the public face of fair elections in the media, it makes sense that he would have to keep his “attack dog” mentality under the radar.
Don’t forget Speaker Johnson. He could have had 25 judicial impeachments in the works.

Without secure, honest elections we have no country.
I think that putting Martin overseeing Election Cheating is exactly where he needs to be RIGHT NOW.
We need a supermajority in Congress. We need to stop the 51% to 49% BS in the Uni-party Congress.
Martin is the man to do it. Then he can lead the prosecutions of the cheaters. Bessent can inflict financial pain on foreign countries and domestic traitors who helped the cheat.

Ed Martin was supposed to investigate the USSC Dobbs leak that would have implicated Chief Justice Roberts in a cover-up.
Either Martin sucked at his job or he got ‘an offer he couldn’t refuse’.

From what I have read Todd Blanche doesn’t get along with Martin. They have different styles. Blanche is more structured and methodical…Martin more of a wild child.
The mid term election integrity move is a good role for Martin.
