Any thoughts on the recently signed Mecca Security Agreement between, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan?
It’s a reaction to the perceived weakness of the US who couldn’t or didn’t protect the Saudis and other Gulf States and is letting Iran play bully.
Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are Sunnies so there is a weakening of the Shia axis and the Sunni is strengthening. It is alway this way in the Middle East.
There is a worry in Israel that the alliance is against Israel. But the Saudis don’t have a history of attacking Israel since 1948. Turkey is like Iran. A large military and a weak nation with awful economy and currency.
In my humble opinion it’s a BS. Saudi Arabia already had a treaty with Pakistan and Pakistan did nothing to help them.
As we speak the Houthis are attacking Saudi refineries and effectively put the Saudis under siege. Did you see anything from Pakistan and Turkey? Any help?
But Trump better not help Turkey with F35 jets that will weaken Israeli dominance in the air.

Grampa’s also after the 3rd hospitalization from falling from tending to the his chickens.
Dad’s fall ripped his rotator cuff, that surgery greatly accelerated his slip into dementia.
Having a 2nd surgery for prostate cancer (which I (and his neurologist) was against & left him with a permanent catheter) put him the rest of the way into dementia & into a nursing home.

COMMENTARY FOR PROVERBS 2
Promises to those who seek wisdom. (1-9) The advantages of wisdom. (10-22)1-9 Those who earnestly seek heavenly wisdom, will never complain that they have lost their labour; and the freeness of the gift does not do away the necessity of our diligence, #Joh 6:27|. Let them seek, and they shall find it; let them ask, and it shall be given them. Observe who are thus favoured. They are the righteous, on whom the image of God is renewed, which consists in righteousness. If we depend upon God, and seek to him for wisdom, he will enable us to keep the paths of judgment.
10-22 If we are truly wise, we shall be careful to avoid all evil company and evil practices. When wisdom has dominion over us, then it not only fills the head, but enters into the heart, and will preserve, both against corruptions within and temptations without. The ways of sin are ways of darkness, uncomfortable and unsafe: what fools are those who leave the plain, pleasant, lightsome paths of uprightness, to walk in such ways! They take pleasure in sin; both in committing it, and in seeing others commit it. Every wise man will shun such company. True wisdom will also preserve from those who lead to fleshly lusts, which defile the body, that living temple, and war against the soul. These are evils which excite the sorrow of every serious mind, and cause every reflecting parent to look upon his children with anxiety, lest they should be entangled in such fatal snares. Let the sufferings of others be our warnings. Our Lord Jesus deters from sinful pleasures, by the everlasting torments which follow them. It is very rare that any who are caught in this snare of the devil, recover themselves; so much is the heart hardened, and the mind blinded, by the deceitfulness of this sin. Many think that this caution, besides the literal sense, is to be understood as a caution against idolatry, and subjecting the soul to the body, by seeking any forbidden object. The righteous must leave the earth as well as the wicked; but the earth is a very different thing to them. To the wicked it is all the heaven they ever shall have; to the righteous it is the place of preparation for heaven. And is it all one to us, whether we share with the wicked in the miseries of their latter end, or share those everlasting joys that shall crown believers?

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

There are many, and I fall short of your commandment.
Boy howdy, can identify with this…
I just had a revelation.
I have asthma, so I dutifully got a flu shot every year. And every year, I got bronchitis in February and missed a week of work.
My eyes were opened with the covid stuff (that year I got a flu shot AND got flu A AND flu B, needed tamoxifen to be able to start chemo on time), and I stopped getting flu shots.
I just realized that I haven’t had bronchitis in February since then!
Never getting a flu shot again. I just up the vitamin C and D, and if I feel something coming on I take more garlic oil. It’s a proven mild antibacterial and antiviral.

Rough weather today from N. IL, N. IN, and N. OH moving south. Tornado warning for west Chicago and reports of 85 mph wind gusts. Baseball sized hail reported just east of Valparaiso, iN. This line of storms is expected to strengthen as it moves south today. We’re right in the middle of the area where the Storm Prediction center is showing an enhanced probability of severe weather.

I’m watching it. 35 mi NNE of Indianapolis. Not too far from Exit 226 of I-69.
CAT 2 hurricane force winds reported in NE Indiana. Tornado warnings all over the place. 10s of thousands without power. Plenty of trees down. Took my flags down from my 30 pole. Pickup truck parked with the cab under the garage apron overhang. Can now see the shelf cloud approaching from the north.

Like I said, sure am glad I’ve got my GENRAC. Lost power at about 14:30 and the GENRAC has been running for almost 3 hours. Do not expect to get the power back very soon with so many others having lost power. And we’re near the end of the line.
