I think its the slight flamenco influence he uses in his technique that is so charmingly Spanish.
I think Pepe’ may well be playing is famous “La Wonderful” Rodriguez guitar. If you look at the close ups it is obviously this guitar has a little age on it. Whatever, its a wonderful sounding instrument in the hands of a world-class virtuoso. Be well, dear bet. Much love directed your way . . . 🙂

There was a post a few days ago about Western Union and I would like to share a recent experience of mine. Since I have started to make money and have received a disability rating I wanted to repay my friend in Mexico that helped me get out. He paid for the bus ticket that got me to Mexico City witch was half of my journey to the border, he spent about 1700 pesos for the ticket. Once my first check hit my bank account I immediately reached out to him to let him know that I wished to repay him. The western union app I downloaded made it easy to send him money with no fees and he received the money within minutes. Then when I tried to send my sister money in Florida the app declined my debit card and requested an alternate payment method on top of a $25 dollar fee. The same amount, $200 dollars but for some reason WU would not accept my card. I made it to the bank just before closing that day and after speaking to a bank representative I was assured that I would be able to complete the transaction. I was not able to do it, no solid explanation was given, Chase said it was Visa, Visa had no answer and when I called WU I was told that I needed to go to a physical location and do it in person. It was 110° today as I walked to three different locations because the first two wouldn’t accept card, only cash. When I talked to WU I was given a code that was supposed to give me a 50% discount for the fee but when I tried to use it the person at the counter had no idea how to implement it and even the manager (HEB) was confounded about what to do telling me “There is no way to enter a code”. I accepted the BS, paid the fee, just thankful that I was able to send the money to my sister finally.
Why was there no fee to send money to Mexico? Why could I not send money to my sister in Florida as easily as to someone in Mexico?
Don’t bother to answer my questions, I am sure I know the answers. 🤔
My guess is that the Visa system thought this was fraudulent based on your history. I’m surprised or maybe not that Visa couldn’t help you. The card company systems look for sudden changes in your spending history.
It is a new account, that is the only reasonable excuse that I could except, yet no one floated that excuse. My concern is that it was no problem to send money to Mexico but when I tried to use the same app to get money domesticly to my sister in Florida all of a sudden I couldn’t use the app anymore and had to go to a physical location. That and the difference in the fee to send money.🤔
The app should have told you why it couldn’t be done.
It’s been many years since I’ve used WU. Apple is my primary way to send money. A lot less hassle.

The entire system has been rigged to gouge and deprive US citizens and this is simply more of it. Until I hear a better answer I’m sticking with this one because it fits a pattern going back decades therefore becomes the most logical despite many still refuse to see.

The collective bargaining agreement between the league and the players union is over 400 pages long. In it they provide the definition of every pertinent term from Rookie to the various types of suspensions etc. But they did not have the courage to define what a woman is. It merely states that the league is for women. The league deserves every bit of what they’re getting.

COMMENTARY FOR 1 THESSALONIANS 5
The apostle exhorts to be always ready for the coming of Christ to judgment, which will be with suddenness and surprise. (1-11) He directs to several particular duties. (12-22) And concludes with prayer, greetings, and a blessing. (23-28)
1-5 It is needless or useless to ask about the particular time of Christ’s coming. Christ did not reveal this to the apostles. There are times and seasons for us to work in, and these are our duty and interest to know and observe; but as to the time when we must give up our account, we know it not, nor is it needful that we should. The coming of Christ will be a great surprise to men. Our Lord himself said so. As the hour of death is the same to each person that the judgment will be to mankind in general, so the same remarks answer for both. Christ’s coming will be terrible to the ungodly. Their destruction will overtake them while they dream of happiness, and please themselves with vain amusements. There will be no means to escape the terror or the punishment of that day. This day will be a happy day to the righteous. They are not in darkness; they are the children of the light. It is the happy condition of all true Christians. But how many are speaking peace and safety to themselves, over whose heads utter destruction is hovering! Let us endeavour to awaken ourselves and each other, and guard against our spiritual enemies.
6-11 Most of mankind do not consider the things of another world at all, because they are asleep; or they do not consider them aright, because they sleep and dream. Our moderation as to all earthly things should be known to all men. Shall Christians, who have the light of the blessed gospel shining in their faces, be careless about their souls, and unmindful of another world? We need the spiritual armour, or the three Christian graces, faith, love, and hope. Faith; if we believe that the eye of God is always upon us, that there is another world to prepare for, we shall see reason to watch and be sober. True and fervent love to God, and the things of God, will keep us watchful and sober. If we have hope of salvation, let us take heed of any thing that would shake our trust in the Lord. We have ground on which to build unshaken hope, when we consider, that salvation is by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, to atone for our sins and to ransom our souls. We should join in prayer and praise one with another. We should set a good example one before another, and this is the best means to answer the end of society. Thus we shall learn how to live to Him, with whom we hope to live for ever.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

The man in the hat is Emory Harrison. The woman beside him is his wife. And those boys lined up from smallest to tallest, every one of them in overalls, every one of them his son, are thirteen of the most famous brothers in American history.
Thirteen sons.
All boys.
Not a single daughter in the lineup.
In 1955, the Harrison family was officially recognized as the largest all-male family in the United States.
Look at that line for a moment.
The tiny one on the far left could not have been more than two or three years old.
The young man near his father looks nearly grown.
In between is every age you can imagine, stair-stepping upward like a lesson in time.
Each one of them dressed the same.
Each one of them with the same quiet, steady look that comes from growing up on a farm where there is always work to be done and never a shortage of someone to do it with.
There was no luxury in that farmhouse.
There was no idleness either.
A home with thirteen boys has a rhythm to it that city life can barely imagine.
Chores divided by age. Meals stretched to feed a small army.
A level of noise and energy that could shake the walls, and underneath all of it, something steadier: the knowledge that you were never alone, never without someone who had your back, never the only one carrying the load.
Emory Harrison did not call it extraordinary.
It was just family.
But look at that photograph again.
The stone chimney. The wooden porch. The great oak tree overhead.
Thirteen young lives lined up in the Tennessee morning sun.
A mother smiling at the end of the row.
A father standing straight and proud beside them all.
Seventy years on, there is something in this image that still stops you completely.
They were just a family.
That is all.
And somehow, that is everything.”

My husband’s uncle wanted a daughter. He had 9 sons in a row, a daughter, and another son. They had enough for a baseball team with bat boy and bat girl. 30 years ago the family reunions there had over 250 people.
I’v a sis-in-law who is one of eight girls
who’s mother got tired of trying for dad’s name sake.
