The most recent reports indicate the number of Moroccan and sub-Saharan migrants that have collapsed the town of Ceuta, Spain (North Africa enclave) has now risen to 60,000 with some leaving due to hunger while replacements are arriving.
Obviously in a city of 80,000 Spanish residents, the arrival of 60,000 migrants in 24-hours would create immediate chaos; worsening as the military aged males become increasingly hungry and desperate. Images and videos showing street riots, stabbings and rampant looting are all over social media platforms.
Several European countries have expressed horror and concern as the images are quickly putting politicians and EU leadership into a state of panic. Now the EU group, led by Ursula von der Leyen, must pretend to be against mass, unlawful migration.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the “images coming from Ceuta are unacceptable.”
“We cannot allow anyone to come to our Union without abiding by our rules,” she said in an online statement on Friday. “Dangerous crossings must stop immediately. Smuggling networks must be dismantled. And returns must be swift, as our rules allow.” {source}
Ahmed Karim, a 33-year-old Moroccan speaking to the media said, the invasion force intention is to use the EU as an exit point to reach the United States. “Many people want to go to Europe, America, but they don’t have the opportunity,” Karim said.

At least 41 migrants have died attempting the crossing.

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited Ceuta on Friday and condemned the border breach which he described as “a violation of Spain’s territorial integrity.”
Sánchez blamed human smugglers for the crisis, saying they “deceive so many young people, and ultimately lead many of them to their deaths — whether in the ocean or, as in this case, at Spain’s border in the autonomous city of Ceuta.”
Spain’s interior ministry, which had initially refused to share estimates from the border, released its own figures shortly after Vivas’ spoke, estimating that some 50,000 people had crossed from Morocco since Thursday. (more)

Our pediatric doctors were the senior doctors (husband and wife) at a rather large local clinic. They were pushed out for allowing their under age patients and parents a choice in vaccines and masks. We no longer go there.
Thankfully, my wife and I did not take the unnecessary vaccination shot. Neither did my youngest son. My oldest was forced to take one shot by the corporation he works for. He wound up having Afib as a result of the shot, in my opinion.

Almost sixty yrs ago after college graduation, I served on a team of archeologists in Istanbul, Turkey. Lived in an apt with a couple of classmates and walked to work thru the city to our “dig”, a 9th c. Byzantine church. The terms of the agreement with the American foundation sponsoring the work with its Turkish university partner, was that the church, when our investigations were finished, would then be turned into a mosque, although a not very important one.
Anyway, what was interesting was that the “be$t” archeological digs in the area were German-run, then the British, French, too, those sponsored by National Geographic, with Americans last in status. Also, our apt landlady was a Fraulein von ——-. Her mother who lived nearby also had a somewhat noble title. That’s when I realized that Germany and the Turks had been allies in several conflicts thru the years. I think the Germans thought of Turkey as their “South Florida,” or at least the more sophisticated urban areas with nice weather and great food!

Also, a key location for trade and military importance. Decadence in the royal courts had set in and the Ottomans overran the place in 1453 without too much resistance. Hagia Sofia and some other churches became mosques with added minarets showing off this fact, but aside from plastering over Christian frescoes and mosaics, the Turks didn’t wreck too much. One real serious wrecking crew was the group of Crusaders who did a lot of damage to the Byzantine churches during their c. 1210 sack of the city. Funnily enough that the Ottomans them-selves “rotted” from within, which is how Kemal Attaturk came to pass after WWI. They buddied up to the Germans and Turks became stalwart workers in the German auto plants ever after. I should mention that the Ottomans added to the city’s skyline with some important works of architecture themselves: the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmed mosque.
