Two US sources familiar with the matter said recent US intelligence assessments show no indication of a new, specific Iranian plot to kill Trump, but rather a steady drumbeat of chatter about various Iranian actors wanting to do so. The desire to target Trump is not unique to Iran’s leadership. Mourners at the days-long funeral for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed by Israel in the opening strikes of the war in late-February, held signs calling on Iran to kill Trump.
In a Friday interview with the New York Post Trump downplayed the significance of the Israeli intelligence, first reported by the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, saying that Iran had long threatened his life.
“Israel came up with nothing,” he said, describing himself as Iran’s “number one” target “for a long time.”

I have become interested in this blonde giant of a man, in part because where other arrogant players dismiss their fans, he adores his. And he will stop anywhere so they can get photos with him, especially the kids who very much need their heroes from the sporting world.

Gone is the time I would root for England, a nation forced to its knees and whose despotic rulers have betrayed its people, its fighting heritage, its precious culture, and its traditions.

Need to note … Haaland does not just live in the UK …. he is one of the RICHEST Stars in the UK Based English Premier League (EPL) as the star central striker for the one of richest clubs in the EPL …. Manchester City …. he makes allot of money for; himself, his club, EPL TV Revenues, et al.
Yes he truly is quite the athlete as well as a good guy but he is not St. Haaland of Norway.
This particular World Cup event has exposed just how mercenary the entire professional soccer world outside the US has become … with supposedly “underdog” National Teams Teams heavily manned by Players hold Multi-National Passports, while playing in the top world’s Soccer Leagues in France, Italy, England, Germany, Spain and Holland.

DHS’s secretive Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division, which had twice as many feds in the crowd on January 6 than the FBI, appears all over the Butler story. HSI and Secret Service are both tucked under DHS, which meant any contact HSI had with Crooks before could have been kept troublingly in-house.
I recalled that because of this recent HSI related incident in an attempted J6 bomber investigation. DHS refused to investigate Steve Baker’s evidence challenging the Brian Cole claim, but a veteran HSI investigator volunteered to take it on, selected a vetted as not deep state team from various IC agencies, briefed them on what was going to be done and how, and was found dead in his apartment.

I got a call from a member of the intelligence community for decades. He said, “We have to meet. We have to meet now.” Okay. So, we met. He picked a place and I met him there. First thing he did is he took my phone away and threw it in his briefcase, which is a Faraday cage briefcase.
And then he slid a card across the table. He said, “Do you know who that is?” And I looked at the name on the card. I said, “Yeah, of course.” And he grabbed the card back and he said, “Um, he was found dead the day before Thanksgiving.”
Now, my last conversation with the name on that card was October 29th. And when I took this case to ODNI, as we said before, because ODNI and the members of the DIG who were going to look into this had determined that they didn’t trust the FBI either on this case, especially this case. And so they were going to take it to HSI, Homeland Security Investigations. The relationships that they had is they had a liaison partnership with all of the intel agencies. That’s what the DIG is.
Carlson: The DIG had reached out to all of the 18 federal intelligence agencies?
Yeah, and got one of the good guys or two of the good guys from each, you know, agency to come in and work with them. Not deep stater vetted in that manner.
This is an individual who was vetted to not be a deep stater. 19 years career with HSI, senior agent over there. They called him in. They briefed him on the entire case. Introduced me to him.
Then in late October, early November, he sat down with a team, again of individuals that I will not name. I know who they were and I know who was at the conference table and he briefed them on how he was going to pursue this case, what technologies he was going to use, the [clears throat] other personnel that he was going to bring into this to pursue this case.
And as I said, my last conversation with him was on the [clears throat] um 29th of October. One of these people that I know of had their last conversation with him on November 10th. And then his girlfriend found him dead in his condo on the 26th of November, the day before Thanksgiving.
And this longtime IC um [clears throat] operative had tears streaming down his face as he’s talking about this and
explaining to me what they’ve heard. And he said, “Of course, the rumor is obviously that he committed suicide.” And he said, “[slowly with emphasis] None of us believe it. None of us that knew him and were close to him, were friends with him, believe that this was a suicide.”
Carlson: And what did the medical examiner say?
Still no report from the medical examiner.
Carlson: That was over six, seven months ago.
