The Still Hour – Saturday’s Verses and Prayers
Treepers Prayers and Prayer Requests
No matter what life throws at you, despair not, for the Lord they God is with you.
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
Jeremiah 32:17
Amen
Amen
AMEN
Never give up!
Alex Zanardi stood on top of the racing world.
A Formula 1 driver.
A two-time CART champion.
A man who had already conquered dreams most people never even dare to chase.
Then…
One crash changed everything.
Twisted metal.
Screaming sirens.
Silence.
Doctors weren’t talking about racing anymore.
They were talking about whether he would survive.
When he woke up…
Both of his legs were gone.
The world wrote his ending that day.
Everyone believed the story was over.
Everyone…
Except him.
There were no cameras.
No cheering crowds.
No trophies waiting.
Only pain.
He lifted his arms.
Pain.
One more repetition.
More pain.
One more.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Thousands of repetitions.
Thousands of moments where nobody was watching.
He wasn’t fighting another driver.
He was fighting yesterday’s version of himself.
Most people never saw the hardest race of his life.
Because it happened long before he ever reached another starting line.
Years later…
Paralympic Games.
Silence.
Three…
Two…
One…
The gun fires.
He explodes forward.
Not with legs.
With relentless will.
Every turn of the handcycle buried another impossible.
Every painful stroke became an answer to everyone who said it couldn’t be done.
The finish line gets closer.
The crowd rises.
Gold.
Then another gold.
Then another.
Then another.
Four Paralympic gold medals.
The crash took his legs.
But it never took his courage.
It never took his purpose.
It never took his dream.
And on that finish line…
Alex Zanardi didn’t just win a race.
He proved something far greater.
The strongest part of a human being…
…has never been the body.
It’s the soul.
More large scale fraud of taxpayers…
Nick Shirley personally confronted an “adult daycare” to their faces in NYC with THOUSANDS of GHOST MEMBERS despite receiving taxpayer funds — they instantly PANICKED
SHIRLEY: “It’s public tax dollars you are receiving. Do you gave 7,000 members?”
STAFF: “No.”
SHIRLEY: “So, why did you bill for 7,000?”
“Are you committing fraud?”
STAFF: “Leave, sir. LEAVE!”
SHIRLEY: “We are sick of people defrauding our taxes.”
“$12.9 MILLION dollars.”
No doubt the WWII veterans that were at the July 4th celebrations in DC were very appreciative of this (it’s the memorial they were sitting at watching the fireworks display in the pic I shared last weekend).
Police officer shows what it means to be human…
That’s great. Dogs are amazing and that man has a good heart.
As valid today as it was when she made the argument. May she rest in peace.
