FISA 702 authorization from congress expired June 12, 2026. The world did not end, despite the predictions and proclamations from the DC proletariat and narrative engineers.
However, despite the statutory expiration, the intelligence collection continues under the FISA Court’s annual certifications, which were renewed in March 2026 and remain valid through March 2027. {citation}
The annual certifications allow the government to continue collecting communications from foreign targets and querying the Section 702 database, including incidental U.S. communications, without interruption.
Essentially, the surveillance program operates on a separate “certification clock” that is independent of Congress’s statutory timeline. That’s a remarkable workaround.
In ancillary news, I will be offline most of the day as it is a pre-scheduled travel day. I will catch up later tonight.

The IC will continue to collect intelligence. The only limitation on them now is how they choose to prosecute violators without divulging how they acquired said evidence. One could also argue that targets of prosecution are in much more danger of falling out of hotel windows as our Russian friends prefer.
The IC doesn’t
“collect ” info
It purchases it
From 3td party data brokers. . .
Never forget
“The government” doesn’t DO ANYTHING
it administrates
And that is what taxes pay for
The trusteeship of the bankrupt Republic
oil powers machines ,
Heats offices
and builds roads
Thus the link to the $
Data. . .
Is the new oil
and 97% of all “money” in circulation
Is 1’s and 0’s
Bless your work, this nation, and God Bless America
Bless you.
With apologies for whipping this horse repeatedly (it’s an expression, I would never whip a horse), here are three things to consider about 702.
noting: I do not expect anyone to actually know the mind of President Trump on this matter, but it is obvious his is not being given good information from his advisors. Or he has rejected and set aside views about protecting American Citizens from unlawful, unconstitutional collection of information from citizens. regardless, his inaction to end this nightmare is incredibly frustrating as it seems such an obvious choice..the right choice…a choice that will have significant impact on the entire discussion about Congressional action about future surveillance agendas.. He can literally blow the top off these lies and transparently end it and this will develop a brand new level of national debate. because right now, it’s back room decision making, late in the evening, usually tied to some completely disconnected bill and the news doesn’t even blink…as if they expect it to get renewed so why report on it.
We are Americans. We have the rights spelled out in plain language that protects us from warrantless contrived collection of our data and information, phone calls, internet traffic and what we talk about in blogs and how we spend our money and where we travel, and who our friends are and what candidates we support and those whom we do not. If we expect to have liberty, freedom and the right to dissent..that is the power rests with THE PEOPLE and not from government, then we have to abolish this kind of surveillance. As we have seen over time, it has become normalized and more and more invasive. We already know it has been used to defund, debank, disenfranchise and shadow ban citizens who simply acted to express their opinion and suspicions and in some cases actual evidence of corruption. So we already KNOW the threat is real and has increased and made our lives less secure, less private, less free.
President Trump…what are you thinking? and why have you not acted? Do you really need treeper at CTH to remind you that these same authorities were used against you and your own family? repeatedly. You do understand that the minute you leave the white house, they are coming for you…lock…stock and barrel. Now is the time to take a stand and do something very American…to save your own but also to secure this nation against the corrupt reprobate scoundrels who have and will continue to use these secret powers to punish Americans and to enrich themselves…intelligence of this kind is a power no one should have. it’s too tempting. it IS the ring that rules all. Toss the ring into the volcano President Trump….Do it and THE PEOPLE will celebrate your legacy for generations. You will truly change the world when you kick this off. Everything else matters little. But you will be remembered as a PROUD AMERICAN PATRIOT who fulfilled his oath honorably and secured the freedom and restored liberty. Do you not understand this truth?
it’s just plain wrong. Privacy IS SECURITY. Privacy IS freedom. Privacy IS liberty.
God Bless America
702 is obviously another front concealing deeper machinations.
And Limited Hangout.
By whom? That question suggests the outlines of the Hidden Hand “nudging” the trajectory of the US/West.
Toward what? Trace all trends forward – the growing surveillance panopticon, the sunset of the post-WWII US hegemony as China rises. The coming global end state comes into view.
Cui bono: What US entities might seek to steer the path of the inexorable tectonics to ensure their position in that coming panopticon end state? What entity above all?
It’s unlikely that Trump reads CTH. Especially when reader comments are overwhelmingly long and bombastic.
THIS. . .
“Tonight at midnight, President Trump can sign an executive order that immediately ceases the surveillance of the secret police spy state over US Citizens on US Soil”
🔥🔥🔥
OT: Today, at noon, Gov Beshear can personally visit or send staff to visit, in person, Mitch McConnell in the hospital — if, in fact, he is there and not six feet under somewhere.
I think it’s cute that as of today anyone believes our intelligence agencies have any intention of following or obeying ‘law’.
You either understand this as a given, or you are a child at large.
The Cameras Know Your Name and Pattern of Life: But are They Security or Surveillance State?
A follow the money on Flock Cameras and what you can do to stop it

“…I bet you didn’t think twice about it. But it read your plate, clocked the time, logged the make and color of your car, and filed it away. That camera belongs to a company called Flock Safety, and by itself it’s dumb as a rock. What sits behind it is what concerns me, because once I started pulling on that thread it went places I did not expect. Police logs with the reason field left blank two hundred million times, a former Israeli prime minister, Jeffrey Epstein’s money, and two venture funds sitting behind almost all of it…”

“…Let’s start with the hardware. Flock has more than 100,000 cameras up now, across five thousand-plus towns, and the network scans north of twenty billion cars a month. Twenty BILLION. Your car is in there. My car is in there. The company will tell you the cameras exist to catch stolen vehicles and find missing kids, and sometimes they do. Nobody is arguing cameras never solve a crime and nobody is arguing that using them to do just that is not great. The question I care about is what the thing does the other 99 percent of the time, and who gets paid….”
