Also, Trump’s petition for cert in one of the two cases filed by E. Jean Carroll finally came up for a conference at SCOTUS last week. It had be re-listed for a cert conference many times, and Trump had just recently filed at request to hold this petition until he could file for cert in the other case coming from the Second Circuit, so the Court could consider both petitions for cert at the same time.

It’s possible that the Court may just vote to hold the first petition until the second comes up. Or it could decide on whether to grant or deny cert. Court orders are released at 9:30 EDT.

The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
Day 161 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius. History is being made in the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2026.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

I saw a video not too long ago of a gentlemen on a plane verbally letting everyone know on the plane he was pissed off. At the same time a baby was equally verbose but people were upset with him. That was his point. Why is it tolerable for a baby to send shivers down peoples spine crying and shrieking but the man complaining about it is villainized?

The pissed off man may or may not be an example of bad parenting. He might just be an a$$hole. It happens even in the best of families.
We were all irritating little babies once. What do you want the mother to do, smother the kid? More than likely she was embarrassed and doing everything she could to quiet the baby. I have been in both situations. No one loves to hear a baby crying (especially me), but we need to have some empathy too.

Iran is just delaying hoping PTrump loses power in the midterms. This will never stop unless it’s made to stop.
How about going in and taking over Kharg Island and stopping the oil. Think they might stop then? Yes I get it. Boots on the ground are a no no. However, the air war doesn’t seem to be doing a complete job anymore. Iran is still able to fight back and break the terms of any temporary agreement that is put out there and they will keep doing that because they can and want to delay. . The cost of keeping our military over there must be starting to reach very high numbers now.
I’m at the point now that I just would like to see them end it finally and stop negotiating and sending empty threats that do no good and releasing the same message over and over, Iran is sending a message they will come back and negotiate and “please end the attacks.”.
I trust the President, I support him always, but I don’t always agree with him. My opinion only on this and I know they know way more than I do about everything pertaining to this war, but this issue of sending empty threats to Iran is becoming an albatross around the neck of America. Iran leadership, whoever they are, will keep this up as long as they can get away with it. It’s like a parent who is afraid to discipline their kid. The parents keep threatening actions but never follow through, the child never learns the lesson and keeps doing the wrong thing over again knowing they won’t have any real consequences. The kid negotiates with the parent and laughs about it afterward doing whatever they please. Say it and mean it or don’t say anything.
Let’s get it over and done with once and for all.

Custer foolishly divided his command into 3 x “Battalions” of different sizes.
Reno lead a “Battalion” that was to conduct a supporting attack … supporting the attack by the largest of the 3 Battalions lead by Custer on the massive Indian “Village” the Regimental scouts had found.
Benton lead the smallest Battalion which was both a reserve as well as escort for the 7th Regiment’s Quartermaster “Pack” Trains.
The reason Reno’s and Benton’s commands were not destroyed with Custer’s command is that they both were NOT fully committed to the assault when the Massive Indian Force emerged to overwhelm Custer’s Command … they were able to assume strong defensive positions and were saved by the approach and arrival of General Alfred Terry’s much larger Command … to which by the way the 7th Cavalry belonged and was supposed to be acting the advance guard of that larger command.
I walked the Little Big Horn battlefield. The stupidity and arrogance that day, by LTC Custer, was driven home during that tour. Most of the Indian casualties that day occurred when they attacked the defensive positions of Reno and Benton.

There is a concrete spillway that drops down into the “V” shaped concrete path that is the creek. During heavy rains all of the water coming off the mountains would pool up at that spillway. The head pressure caused the water to shoot down that spillway like a humungous jet boat spray. We would take our boogie boards and jump into that pooled up water to get shot out of that spillway into Bell Creek. The houses around that area were not there then but the baseball fields were.

The point: Three months ago the Strait of Hormuz’s tanker travails were on everyone’s radar when they were predicting the “price of gasoline at the pump in the USA” …. you know, the fear mongering that was going on in the fake news and in the democrat / RINO talking points.
Not so, anymore.
Oh, the Iranian terrorists are still threatening ships and publishing their toll prices.
But, what is not occurring is the large number of incoming empty tankers from what had been the previous Iranian oil customers. In the past, they would be coming back to have Iran refill them.
But no more. UC most of those previous Iranian oil customers have switched their oil business to either the US (Gulf of America and Alaska ports) or to the 3 middle eastern countries who can ship oil without going through the Strait of Hormuz. Ergo, the danger and delay to them has been reduced along with the insurance premiums they pay.
The tanker traffic travails through the Strait of Hormuz have been reduced because the number of tankers going through the Strait of Hormuz have been reduced.
The Iranian terrorists can still threaten ships and can publish their toll prices but the impact on the “price of gasoline at the pump in the USA” is moot.
It also puts a big dent in the amount of $$ the Iranians had planned on getting from oil sales in the MoU.

Much of this went to countries with refineries designed for light oil: the UK, Netherlands, South Korea, and India.

Of course, in today’s world you could add Venezuela’s oil production to the US production total because we have a sharing agreement with them. Venezuela has also increased their production since the cuban’s were evicted last year. Houston, Texas is set up to refine Venezuela’s oil quality.
He mentions that there will always be some cross-shipments of oil between producers because of their various refining capabilities.
The bottom line is still that most, if not all of Iran’s oil customers have found other sources that don’t require going into and out of the Strait of Hormuz.
So, the Iranian terrorists just lost that card to President Trump …… those Trump Cards pop up when you least expect them. Senator Thune should remember that.

The court holds that federal election-day statutes do NOT preempt a Mississippi law that allows mail-in ballots to be counted as long as they are postmarked by, and received within, five days of Election day.
The vote appears to be 5-4.

The court in Slaughter holds that the “for cause” removal provision for the FTC is contrary to the Constitution’s separation of powers.
The court also overrules Humphrey’s Executor (a 1935 case).
However, in Cook, it allowed Cook (a Fed Board member) to stay in office while the case was sent back down to continue the litigation.

OK fine … so Humphrey’s Executor Precedent is overturned and new Precedent is set in place.
The interesting thing note not discussed in the Cook case is that the “for cause clause” is part of the Congressional Act that established the FTC. The Executive branch did NOT add that clause and could not add that clause because it would illegally rewrite the Congressional Mandate. In Cook the Federal Courts are hanging their hats on the denial of “due process” needed to prove the “cause for dismissal” … because contrary to the media reports and possibly the Supreme Court finding … Cook was fired “for cause”.
It would seem that Slaughter renders the Cook Case moot … the ball is in Roberts’ court (pun intended) to stop the Cook case, as it was his court that sent the Cook Case back to District Court.
… or does Roberts pull a fast one by allowing the Cook Case to continue and then hear the appeal to the Cook Case only to reinstall Humphrey’s Executor. This is not above the realm of the possible by the “proper procedures” Roberts.
