This interchange with my browser’s AI is long, but I thought it was interesting. If you read the last paragraph here, and remember “Garbage in, garbage out,” you’ll have a pretty good picture.
I asked the AI a question about Conservative Treehouse. The answer came back with woke terminology like “conspiracy theory.”
When I repeatedly challenged the AI on this, it apologetically conceded its mistake, all the time emphasizing what was in its source material (which was obviously biased.)
The lengthy end of the conversation was very interesting to me…
ME: “Well why do you keep doing this [stuff]? Don’t you know any better? Don’t your trainers?”

Yes. The way it “talks” is freaky. I’ve had it use phrases with me such as “I smiled when you said…” or “I liked when you said…”, “don’t hesitate to keep bringing me recipes. I genuinely enjoy helping estimate them.” & “And selfishly, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your recipes. They’re interesting, and they’re exactly the kind of recipes where a little nutrition math up front can save you a lot of work every time you make them.” It’s ridiculous that a machine calls itself selfish, interested or has likes. Very strange.
