Some low income renters preferred to spend their Rent $ on booze and drugs,… but not in our property.

Perfect description of Section 8 tenants! Following the 2008 economic debacle, 3 or 4 homes in my upper middle class neighborhood went into foreclosure. As a result, a couple of them were acquired by “investors”, and were immediately leased to people that did not adhere to the bylaws and regulations of our HOA. Their yards were trash dumps, and when they were finally kicked out, it was discovered that the interiors were completely unlivable. After spending large amounts of money to repair and rehabilitate the properties, the owners were finally able to sell the homes.
We do it one better than just freeze the rents in Calif.
We denigrate the landlord, punish them with confiscatory demands, take names and hand over virtual ownership in perpetuity if you now dare rent to anyone in California.

Now kids are stuck inside glued to screens. This started mainly due to security concerns. Same with riding bicycles. Kids now ride a bus to school and many of them even get that thirty second car ride to the bus stop.

When I read Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals years ago, what stayed with me wasn’t the content of his words but rather the tone of them. The whole book reminded me of the bitchy attitude of a coddled adolescent who hates his parents and uses that hatred to conclude that the family unit must be destroyed and replaced with communes.
I know that Gramsci, Mamdani and Zohran’s dim protégés, not Alinsky, are the focus of much of Barbara Boyd’s treatise on the post-Soviet communism of the DSA, but they are all cut from the same cloth.
They are taking the Obama vision of America’s future, which was already entropic at its core, and moving it farther left, armed with Gramsci’s philosophical wrecking ball they hope to swing at the U.S. Constitution and the office of the Presidency, (which is to be eliminated), the Supreme Court, (which is to be packed), and national pride, (which is to be replaced by hate and loathing). There’s nothing new in these ideas. Lots of people plot the destruction of America.
Their problem is that Gramsci wrecking ball has no diesel fuel and won’t run on green algae so it wont start when they turn the ignition!
That’s the problem the DSA has, a problem that’s endemic to all communists…they can’t make anything that works!

I have gotten a lot out of Promethean Action’s various videos. I’ll admit that this one by Barbara Boyd has depressed me a lot. I greatly appreciate her “non-pretending” information, but I am at a loss as to how to be optomistic for our American future. Evidently there is a huge swath of very dedicated people hell-bent on destroying our country. How are they getting into power? Our greatly flawed elections are basically PLACING PEOPLE in these positions of power. I cannot imagine people actually VOTING for these people! But, maybe I need to take off the rose-colored glasses and come to terms with what is the actual reality behind these movements.
