Today is an opinion day at SCOTUS. Opinions start at 10 EDT. Live-blogging at http://www.scotusblog.com (not affiliated with the Court).
There are twelve argued cases still undecided from the 2025-2026 term.

Let’s pray that we get some sane decisions from the court.
I expect some big wins, but a few disappointments too.
My understanding of the birthright citizenship case is that it was not well argued and did not include several precedents that could have helped make it a stronger case. Even the conservative justices appeared skeptical during questioning.
Expecting to lose that one, and probably by a fair margin…6-3 or maybe even 7-2. 😢
I think it fails because it was done via Executive Order.
I agree. They could rule that the issue could be raised in a case in which someone has claimed birthright citizenship, such as a Chinese birth tourism baby, and his request for a passport has been denied., but the issue is not properly procedurally before the Court

You are correct, but it is morally repugnant. As the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, those issues and those issues alone, should be looked at before any other considerations are entertained.
In this case, it is indisputable, through both the 14th amendment congressional debates and the 1866 civil rights act that proceeded it, that it was not not geographical jurisdiction alone that was addressed, but in conjunction with allegiance, as defined within the phrase of “…subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”.
Once this obvious conclusion is reached, all other arguments and procedural rules, and even ineffective counsel, are moot. The absolute first duty is to the law.
President Trump’s Constitutional duty for faithful execution is all that is needed to issue this EO; any jurist finding to the contrary is violating their oaths. Any jurist–up to and including SCOTUS–ruling in opposition to such an obvious Constitutional Act is not acting in good behavior and needs to be impeached.
The unconstitutional rulings against this, have so far prevented the lawful execution of the policy that we the people voted for, effectively negating our right of the consent of the governed for 17 months, or 35% of President Trump’s term.
It does not matter how the birthright case is argued … it will NEVER be undone because there are 10’s of MILLIONS of BALLOTS at stake for both wings of the Uni-Part Vulture and controlling Puppet Masters.
Just like the Supreme Court ruling last week that creates a special Black Protected Class of citizens from being arrested or investigated by Law Enforcement until an exhaustive effort by Law Enforcement is conducted before a Judge PROVING they are NOT profiling or violating Civil Rights (another 7-2 decision).
Sorry, but WHICH case are you referencing that would prohibit arresting black suspects? This is news to me…

The case, U.S. v. Donte J. Carter, involved a Black man whose firearm and theft convictions were vacated after the D.C. Court of Appeals held that police seized him before they had reasonable suspicion. Officers later recovered a .40-caliber pistol from Carter’s pants and the government said the gun had been stolen from an FBI agent’s vehicle.

As stated above … this one was purposely slid under the media radar. I caught it in a single article on the Fox Website.
Besides the obvious damage to law enforcement, this ruling opens the door for reinstatement of the AG Holder “Historical Ratio Data” argument for use in proving civil rights violations … no matter if violations of rights are actually proven.

It’s not really about executive order but the wording and understanding of the amendment at the time it was issued. (14th Amendment). Trump just forced the issue with his E.O.
The Birthright ruling is existential for this country.
I do not retreat from that opinion.
Today’s decision which ruled that invaders, expectant mothers or otherwise, can be stopped at the border, that “arrived” does NOT mean simply ” showing up” at any US border, will be a potent tool to protect our nation in a great way from the mass transformation which has been allowed held decades. And which has already destroyed the intent of immigration laws with far reaching consequences.
So if the SC rules in favour of BC, the importance of unassailable Border Security and Scrutiny increases exponentially.
I am not hopeful a majority of black robed ideologues, protected from the impact of bastardized immigration law enforcement, understands that this ruling has the potential to alter America beyond the point of saving.
I agree 100% with all of your points! The ability to stop people from coming in is paramount to slowing down the deluge of anchor babies. Today’s ruling will definitely help that problem
But, unfortunately, if the justices rule, as expected, to uphold the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment, then we are still left with the issue of millions of people in this country being granted citizenship in the manner that the founders never would have allowed!
Unfortunately that horse is well out of the barn. We will have to accept that.
But at least we can still stop digging the hole deeper.
I expect the Robert’s court to give the dim base something that will raise their blood pressure and give them something to rally against, just in time for the midterms. Something that will either drown out or justify (in their minds) the crazy talk from the dsa.

That is going to be a landmark “failure to warn” products liability case. The EPA didn’t require a warning, so Monsanto could not be held liable on a “failure to warn” theory.
The plaintiffs’ bar is a heavy contributor to Dem candidates.

Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
Day 157 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius. History is being made in the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2026.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.
We are blessed to have President Trump as our leader. NO ONE else could measure up to his intellect and love and desire for our nation’s safety and improvement on every level.

This was a brilliant move by President Trump to bring the World Cup here.
Soccer fans are a happy bunch and it is so good to hear all of the good things about America and Americans being noticed and celebrated.
Yeah it wasn’t like this in 1994. I didn’t attend any games but remember it because I was in Chicago to visit when they held some games there.
The Rose Bowl hosted the most matches with eight, four of them in the knockout stage, including the final. Giants Stadium hosted seven games including a semifinal; Foxborough Stadium, Stanford Stadium, and the Cotton Bowl hosted six games each, and Soldier Field, Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, and the Citrus Bowl hosted five games each. Pontiac Silverdome, the first indoor stadium used in a World Cup, hosted four group-stage games, the fewest of any venue; it was also the only one of the nine used that did not host knockout-round games.
Reminds me of a story I heard in a sermon. It’s about a man whose hometown was flooded. As the water was rising in his neighborhood, sheriff’s deputies came through the area telling people to evacuate NOW. He waited however, because he had faith God would save him and his house.
As the water flooded his first floor, a family in a passing boat offered the man a ride. He declined due to his faith that God would save him.
By the time the water was up to the eaves, he was sitting on the roof, when a helicopter dipped down with an offer of rescue. Again he demonstrated his faith by declining the offer.
After the man drowned and went to heaven, he asked God why He never saved him. God replied, “I sent the deputies to warn you. I sent a boat and a helicopter to help you. What part of my mercy and providence did you not understand?”
What he is saying, without really saying it, is arm up Americans, and be ready to put down the communists that will destroy all we hold dear. They didn’t do that in South Africa, so let’s learn from their mistake.
We got the appetizer starting in 2009, and then got it shoved down our throats starting in 2020.

Thank you for these videos.. They remind me of my old neighborhood filled with colorful Irish, Polish, Italian, German and Jewish American familes.
All were grateful to be Americans, yet we enjoyed a melting pot of cultures. We boomers ran in packs, drinking out of garden hoses when thirsty, playing stickball and hanging out until the six o’clock whistle at the fire stations sent everyone home for dinner.
We enjoyed the best pizza, pasta, pirogies, knockwurst, spaetzles and knishes anywhere.
All the boys sported crewcuts in summer. One time my younger brother found himself pulled inside the neighbor’s house at lunchtime. It wasn’t until they looked twice while he was sitting at their table that my neighbors realized they took the wrong kid..
Now and again it’s nice to be reminded that it really IS great to be an American.

Love the idea that a progressive knows anything about an expansion joint, bat their wiki-deep understanding. My guess is that most of these losers would think it was a telescopic spliff.
We have DryLock sealant on our bulkhead, concrete patio and concrete slab in our living room that are both directly above sea water (when the tide is in). It would take sabotage for it to flake off or peel away. The patio has been pressure washed a few times and shows no sign of wear after two plus years.

There are reports that Israel did some shady stuff during 9/11. Not everyone believes them to be the friends as much as others. Just saying.
I don’t see them from either side. I see them as rational self-interested actors; as all nation-states should be.
However, there is about 65%~ of the time we are tightly aligned, truly, in what is the best action for them, and the USA, largely due to common challenges and enemies. However, the other 35%~ of the time, they do not calculate the status of “ally” in to their decision making. We do sometimes. I personally don’t blame them or think that is wrong.
But, that does mean that within that 35% , negative USA outcomes are part of what is best for them often. It is our duty to resist and stop that, each time it is happening, which in those situations, puts us as opponents. That’s fine too… we just need to win each of those.
I never understood why this reality has to turn in to Jew hatred OR Israeli worship— it seems to be one or the other.
It can be the case that Israel is our best ally in the middle-east, good that it is there, a western styled society, etc. and that we do many great things together, while at the same time knowing we have to do seriously consequential oppositional brinkmanship and conflict with them too. This is pretty much how the whole world SHOULD work in all but the absolute closest alliances that are more than just some military alliance.
People seem to be able to accept this reality about literally every other country on earth we deal with, except Israel. Again, that makes no sense to me.

It was an EO to federal departments not to recognize as citizens children born to illegal aliens or visa holders. States issue birth certificates, and Trump did not actually try to stop states from issuing certificates. The ACLU filed a class action, and the lower courts stayed the EO.

This housing bill from hell that is passing past the Senate last night and its final round is going to be rushed through the Senate and the House any moment put on Trump’s desk. He’s going to sign it and we have all this talk about the gridlock and the acrimony and the two parties that can’t get together and nothing could pass Congress except for the things that actually matter in which they pass almost unanimously. They pass with more Democrat support, often unanimous Democrat support signed by Trump and then a handful of Republicans voting no. This is true of these NDAs of these appropriation bills, of these farm bills.
And both in the first term and now in the second term, the few bills that actually do pass that are extremely consequential are horrible and frankly, things that if Democrats would propose under their stewardship, Republicans would probably oppose, but now they’re great. And this bill in totality, what does it do? In totality, it uses every effective lever that picks the lock of local Rhino Republican Councilman mayors and politicians along with their developer donors. To urbanize and densify suburbs, shove section 8 down our throats, overdevelop, rezone, to fundamentally transform Red America. All the things that Obama wanted to do to Red America, but didn’t have the support to do happened last night overnight with you almost unanimously under this president without anyone on the right batting in eyelash.
And before I delve into the details and the consequences of the bill and how it fits into the fundamental fight we have of our time, the multi-frontal assault on Red State land and communities continuity of culture and life, I just want to make a point about the politics of this. The fact that you could pass something this consequential and this big that is this devastatingly socialist expands HUD, expands the FHA, spends more money, but more importantly, the cultural aspects of it, of the fundamentally transformed transformation of Red America without any opposition, without any care or knowledge or care to learn about the bill.
The fact that I am the only one the last year and a half who’s been fighting this bill, who’s been even observing it, giving it attention, that in itself is an indictment of the fact that we do not have a conservative movement. We don’t have anything. I took around with people, I say, let’s say Obama care hadn’t passed. Okay, let’s say it wouldn’t be the law the past 16 years. You could have Obamacare be passed overnight on a suspension calendar and it wouldn’t even be news on the right. They don’t know what to believe or think unless it is licking Trump’s rear end or it’s something that is put on Twitter a reaction to the day-to-day, hour-to-hour banter back and forth with no continuity of observation of agenda, all reactive rather than proactive, we have no movement. They could come in and cut our balls off. They could come in and pretty much capture any landscape, pick the issue. And if it’s not put on the algorithms of the cool kids or Trump doesn’t talk about it or take a side on it, it literally doesn’t exist. That’s how paper thin this movement is. That’s how much we have nothing behind that drywall.
In other words, it’s a Commie 15-Minute City bill.
