Last night Dan Goldman lost his primary reelection bid, and Sean Hannity was incensed about the insulting loss for Goldman. WATCH:
It seems like an odd person to be sympathetic toward. Odd, until you realize the main concern for Sean Hannity was not the ideology or damage from Goldman, but rather something else entirely. Hannity is more concerned about his religion.

As for Sean Hannity, puffy face or not – he still is and always has been another arrogant idiot. His voice alone, whenever I hear it, makes me impulsively reach to change the channel. While his constant claim of being “a staunch Republican conservative” leaves plenty of room for further scrutiny should one even care to do so. I don’t care.

I saw him the other night while channel surfing, first thing I thought when I saw his face is that he is VERY inflammed! His face is quite puffy, that’s a sure sign of inflammation.
Same here. Just about the only way these days that Hannity gets on my screen is by accident.
In the meantime, I’ll let you know that I do my share of online commenting — I have a job, thankfully, that keeps me occupied gainfully for a good part of the day — and a good while ago I came to understand fully that life is way too short to spend much time listening to the lost and misleading Hannity.
The reason for that was I came to see programming such as Hannity’s as being consumed by what I now call the “Hannity Disease” or “Hannity Sickness” … which is media types, or anyone, really, who focuses on PROBLEM FINDING … while spending a disproportionately small amount of time, if any at all, on PROBLEM SOLVING.
As Americans, we know that our NATION has problems — LOTS of them; lots of challenges — and many of these are mirrored in our GOVT, but, for the most part, we are way too well aware of these shortcomings. OTOH, as a result, what we need more — what I am seeking more of — are those who propose and present and discuss realistic problem solutions … that is, solutions that are founded in Fundamental American Principles.
To put a point on it, there are those of the SDA, for example, who are more than willing to propose UNREALISTIC solutions based on socialist or fascist principles, but such, being anti-American, is un-American, and, as such, they are at cross-purposes with our fundamental terms and conditions of our nationhood. Alternatively and purposefully, I focus on those that are in agreement with our American Principles.
Getting back to Hannity: I found that all day long — on whichever of his many appearances — Hannity focused on litany after litany of problem after problem. Rarely, if ever, did he put forth much of anything resembling a solution. Nonetheless, looking at comment sections on various websites, one can see that many people, sadly, are attracted to this “red meat” style and appear more than willing to make the focus on PROBLEM FINDING a real group effort. I am assuming that Hannity is marketing to this crowd.
OTOH, as far as I am concerned, life is way too short for such endless negativity, so I’m pretty much with CTH [Sundance] in asking how this clown remains on the air. [Yeah, yeah, we all know the answer: ad revenues, etc.]
My solution to this challenge is that we need many more LEGAL American Citizens who understand fully that we are a NATION of Free Citizens, where, IF we are to continue as such, We The People, collectively, need to embrace our Patriotic DUITES — you know, the ones presented in our Declaration of Independence — and do the HEAVY LIFTING as is necessary to restore our NATION to the direction in which it was founded; and this means, to me and others, for us to focus on the POSITIVE — the problem solving — and to employ, only, our American Principles as our guidelines.

That was my first reaction too! It was gratifying to see smug, smirking, supercilious Goldman taken down a few pegs and to never have to listen to his drivel again during a Senate hearing. However, I am concerned about the steam Marxism is picking up in Congress and state houses around the country. Our dumbed-down citizenry know little to nothing about Marx or Engels, the “Communist Manifesto,” or the 20th c. death toll that arose from this radical socialist ideology.
