Hemani”, justices found federal prosecutors overstepped by charging Ali Danial Hemani for possessing a firearm while being a regular cannabis user, without proving he was dangerous. This landmark decision significantly limits a federal law banning gun ownership and represents a major victory for gun rights and cannabis reform advocates, impacting millions as state cannabis legalization expands.

I was right yesterday when I said that FISA will still be used even though it has not been reauthorized. TJ Harker was just on WarRoom, he is the author of “American Scapegoat,” the story of how egregiously the judicial system was twisted to convict Derek Chauvin of murder, changing the death certificate and the autopsy reports after the fact.
Apparently 28 lawyers served on the prosecution; Chauvin had one attorney, easily buried in required but useless paperwork.
There were blatant Brady violations, exculpatory evidence which the prosecutors failed to disclose.

But I still think it was unjustified use of force. He’s cuffed and on the ground. You don’t have to do anything: let him flop around. Just wait for the police van to arrive, pick him up and throw him in. If he dies on the way, it’s not your problem.
It’s restraint, not use of force. Big difference. Just because the dude is cuffed does not prevent him from harming officers.

Just step away from him and, being cuffed and on the ground, he can’t harm you. He doesn’t need restraint. Just stand aside and wait for the bus.

That’s just 100% wrong. The restraint he used (and it was restraint – not use of force) was SOP for his department and had been in common use prior to the St George incident.
You do not punish a police officer for following standard operating procedure in the restraining of prisoners, especially one as large and violent as that one.
It was completely and utterly unworthy of punishment. That officer was innocent then and remains innocent today.
