Just read the Iran MOU and it is a kick the can down the road.
I personally negotiated with the Iran govt. in the days of the Shah. I can tell you that this MOU is nothing but a gain time deal for Iran. They want to survive as they are and this MOU gives them time to re group and keep control of their people.

The MOU reads as a near-total capitulation by Trump, structured as if Iran were the victor dictating terms.
It’s badly sequenced, heavily front-loaded in Iran’s favor, vague on nuclear enforcement, weak on proxies, and politically/legally fragile inside the U.S.
From Iran’s perspective, it is excellent. From the U.S./allied perspective, it gives up leverage before locking down the hard concessions.
The core problem: the document gives Iran immediate or near-immediate economic and strategic relief:
-removal of naval blockade within 30 days;
-oil export waivers immediately;
-banking, insurance, transportation waivers;
-access to frozen/restricted funds;
-pathway to all sanctions termination;
-at least $300 billion reconstruction/economic development plan.
But Iran’s hardest obligations are mostly soft, delayed, or left for later:
-“best efforts” for commercial vessel passage;
– nuclear stockpile disposition by a mechanism to be mutually agreed;
– enrichment issue to be discussed later;
– no clear missile restriction;
– no named proxy disarmament or command-and-control obligation;
– no specific inspection regime;
– no automatic penalties for breach.
This is undeniably bad. Our POTUS is now in the good company of Obama and Jimmy Carter, two weak, pathetic men he spent years mocking for exactly this kind of weakness.
MAGAcons love President Trump when he’s bombing or selling arms to proxies, but hate when he makes peace.
