God has given you this ministry.
There are times when the best efforts of men produce the opposite of what they intend.
God loved Spurgeon before He created the world.
God made sure Spurgeon won’t go into condemnation in the Lake of Fire.
But what about those that end up condemned in the Lake of Fire?
Were they never loved by God? Not before God created them? Not while they lived? Not to be loved after condemnation?
Why doesn’t God save these people from before the world was created like he saved Spurgeon?
In the end, Spurgeon is describing a God that, with malice aforethought, decided to create people to hate and condemn, at the same time he created Spurgeon to love and save and give glory to God forever.
And the biggest irony of all is after describing it all as beyond any of us, he tries to motivate us to leave the hated group and join the loved group. And through our simple act, a work, we too can be assured that we are saved by God, loved from before we were created, with the surety that we will never suffer like those God doesn’t love.
The scriptures make it clear that God loves all of us and gave His Son that we may all be saved. He doesn’t fail anyone. But He also doesn’t force anyone. He makes it our choice! Yes, choosing is a work. Get over it. If you are going to follow Christ, there are more works you must do.
Nor is it done with just one choice. Paul would never had to write letters complaining of bad choices after the initial choice, nor would he have urged such bad choosers to repent.
This particular belief expressed by Spurgeon comes from picking and elevating certain scriptures while contradicting other Scriptures.
But it is very hard not to do that.
And it is harder still to develop a theology that doesn’t contradict some scripture, nor that doesn’t end up with internal contradictions such as a (hate filled) Loving God.

That’s just it, Jim, we all deserve nothing less than to end up condemned in the Lake of Fire.
We all deserve nothing more. We were all born dead in our sins and deserve eternal condemnation.
It is through the Sovereign grace of God that any of us are predestined to life eternal with Him; it is not by anything we do — no simple act.
God did not create people to hate and condemn, remember in the beginning mankind was God’s only creation that He called “very good”?
But sin entered the world through Adam and now everyone is born dead in sin. Which is why Jesus said we must be Born Again.
In what way did you help when you were born the first time? How did you help your parents make sure that was going to take place? What actions did you take to be born as a baby here on earth?
You did nothing.
In the same way everyone who is Born Again unto salvation does nothing to make that birth happen, either.
Nothing.
That’s why salvation cannot be gained by anything we do.
Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be Born Again and Nicodemus asked how that could even be possible.
Then Jesus said to Nicodemus, ‘Unless you are born of water and the Spirt you cannot enter the Kingdom of God. What is born of flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I say you must be Born Again. The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So is everyone who has been Born of the Spirit.’
The fact that God loves any of us — that He calls and draws and saves any of us — is only part of the wonder and glory of His great mercy.
There can be nothing more unloving and unjust than a God that made people to burn them in Hellfire forever.
And once you say God knew everything before He made it, He knew it was all going to Hell as he declared it good.
Think about it. Most people are going to Hell for nothing they did and there is nothing they can do about it.
I am not saying God didn’t love us all enough to give His only begotten Son.
But I am saying that God isn’t some evil jerk that creates people so that He can torture them for all eternity, except for a few whom He saves, whimfully, to keep as a contrast to those he tortures.
That is all right there in the words you use to respond to me. Just put yourself in the viewpoint of those God condemns, through no fault of their own, simply because they exist, and they exist because God created them. Predestined them to damnation.
BTW I find it funny that you quote Jesus laying out a work that must be done to get to heaven. Baptism.

Baptism was an essential part of Paul’s preaching. He usually left that act up to others, but he said he performed a few himself.
There are those that even go so far in denial of Christ’s path he laid out for salvation that claim Faith in Christ plays no role either.
Accepting Christ as your Savior is a work. Having Faith in Christ is a work.
Jesus tells us in Revelation that He stands at the door and knocks. He requires us to come and open the door.
Of course nothing we can do can save us. Only Christ saves. But Christ has laid out a path requiring us to participate in accepting His salvation.
Yeah, I realize there are many injustices not resolved. Lots of people never get that message in this life. Are they condemned?
As I said, it is very hard to come up with a theology. But it doesn’t matter what beliefs man creates.

Baptism is not a requirement to salvation. The thief on the cross was never bapized, and yet Jesus told him he would be saved. Baptism is not a work, either. It is a glorious way to share with the world that God has redeemed you. You show the world you have been born of water in grateful thanks to God.
Those who throw Christ’s redeeming, finishing work aside are not Christians.

Think about this. We all deserve to go to hell. Period. We were all born dead in our sins. None is worthy, no not one. We all deserve to go to hell. It is only through the gracious and freely given gift of our Father that a single soul here on earth is saved, we do nothing more than acknowledge His mercy towards us when we were headed to eternal damnation.
And what a wonder it is to know we were chosen, by God, before the world was formed. We had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Now, in our joy and thankfulness, it is our love for the Father, Abba, His Son, our Savior, Jesus the Messiah, and with the help and by the power of the Holy Spirit that we tell those around us of God’s unmerited mercy on us — wanting to be used by God to spread His Word.

Others have pointed out how the Torah had different traditions skillfully woven together. Some by priests that worshipped Elohim (E), some by priests that worshipped Yahweh (J), some by authors of the priestly traditions (P), and later Deuteramistic additions (D). Though after I finally tried to understand this, it seems to no longer be the dominant scholarly understanding.
It is kind of funny to see this effort in Israel to make God singular to be used to declare the triune God.

The Jessica Chambers case still haunts Mississippi after she was found severely burned near her car and died hours later. Her final statements became one of the most debated parts of the investigation.
It seems it is still ongoing. The man charged with her death was just returned to Mississippi from Louisiana. He was caught in Louisiana using the credit card of a murdered woman.

Biography: Nicknamed ‘Old Hickory’, Jackson served as the 7th President of the United States (1829-1837). The son of Irish immigrants, he was orphaned at the age of 14. Jackson began his career as a lawyer in Tennessee, becoming a land speculator and was one of the 3 founders of the city of Memphis in 1819.
After joining the Tennessee Militia, Jackson rose to become the General in charge. He fought in the War of 1812, defeating the Red Sticks at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in 1814 and the British in The Battle of New Orleans in 1815.
Jackson ran for president in the 1824 election, but the House of Representatives voted in John Quincy Adams as president in the second instance of a contingent election after no candidate won a majority of electoral college votes. Jackson railed against this as a “corrupt bargain” and he and his supporters formed the Democratic Party in response. Jackson was eventually succeeded Adams in 1828 and became the 7th President.
His two terms in office were marked by several important events. Believing that the National Bank was a corrupt institution, he authorized its dismantling, and in 1835 he became the only president to pay off the National Debt. He confronted South Carolina during the Nullification Crisis, eventually ending the dispute by amending controversial tariffs and threatening to use military force. In 1830 he signed the highly controversial Indian Removal Act, which forcibly moved Native Indians to Indian territories, and he also vehemently opposed abolitionism.
Jackson retired from office in 1837, and though his reputation was initially positive it declined during the civil rights movement as a result of his opinions on slavery and his removal of the Indians.

I wouldn’t know. I gave up on Mac when upgrading the operating system meant I had to buy all the other software again. Had a Mac hard drive crash and bought a new one with OS installed. Restored my programs from backup and none would work.
Since then I have preferred torturing myself with Bill Gates computer crashes.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer Of Thanksgiving In The Evening
Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful night’s sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Guard all those that I love and may we all grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in the days that lie ahead. This I ask in His precious name,

Prayer Of Reflection On The Past Day
Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.
Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray.
Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself.
Give me a good night’s rest I pray, and may I rest quietly in Your loving arms in the knowledge that in Christ, I am eternally secure, due to Your amazing grace, for which I praise You. In Jesus’ name,

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,
