Duh, the secret means God’s Covenant. But it can also be seen as separating the two.
I find the translations of this verse extremely varied. Some don’t mention any secret. Some equate the secret with the covenant. Some separate the two. One even likens the covenant to God’s demands of us.

The secret preexisted the KJV. A covenant is a two way promise. Fulfil your side and you have God’s absolute promise that he will fulfil his side. BTW, that can be seen as God requiring works.
From Abraham, God made Covenants with his people the Israelites. The 10 Commandments were also a Covenant.
There is a lot out there about Jesus ending the old covenant and establishing a new covenant.
Jesus taught that He was the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

Another little nuance. The old Testament is referred to as the Law, the Prophets and the Writings. They were all written and used at the time of Christ, but various groups had differences in what was canon. This vibrant variety inside Judaism did not survive the two revolts. Except for Psalms, the Writings won’t be considered cannon until later.
I read an analysis of Jesus using all, but He argued with individuals from within only the portion that individual believed was scripture. Sadducees and Samaritans only accepted the Torah, though they had different versions. Pharisees accepted the Law and the Prophets, but added oral law and traditions. Hellenistic Jews used the Septuagint which has all three plus what we call the apocrypha. Essenes kept many versions.
The Jewish Canon and text was probably finalized circa 200 AD. The texts are nearly the same as those of many Dead Sea Scrolls. Though there are many DSS not in the later Jewish Bible, and some different versions as well. Including Hebrew texts that are similar to the Septuagint.
We Christians used Greek and took up the Septuagint.
Oddly, the Gospels usually quote the Septuagint when Jesus quotes scripture. Mathew is analyzed as 10% from the Hebrew Bible and the rest from the Greek Bible. Jesus spoke Aramaic, read and spoke Hebrew and knew some Greek.
The Acts and Paul’s Epistles also mostly use the Greek Bible when quoting the Old Testament. I find this fascinating because even most skeptical scholars attribute 7 epistles to Paul. So the Septuagint was used by the church in Paul’s lifetime. And all of the New Testament follows the Greek.
It is not clear how we went from Jesus reading scripture in Hebrew and explaining it in Aramaic to having little Hebrew text in the New Testament. Outside Jerusalem Greek scriptures were relied on very quickly. But inside Jerusalem?

I was there for the 25 anniversary in 2005, the devastation even after 25 years was not imaginable.
Wildlife was just starting to frequent the 6 mile mark where Mr Johnston got footage of the explosion washing over him (no trace of him was ever found, just the film). There is a commemorative center constructed there, it had just opened when I was there.
Probably still looks the same today but with more plants & animals, I highly recommend visiting there to see what the devastation of an atomic bomb would look like only without the radiation.
Once you visit the site, you might realize that we/you (humans) are but ants on this planet.
Indiana got dusted with ash from it for quite a while, a boon to the local car wash’s I’m sure.
Guess it is closed at the moment 2027 at the earliest

I always had LG phones until they pulled out of the mobile phone market.
For the most part it is down to Samsung & Apple’s Iphone.
I have used Tracfone for a very long time & they still had LG phones for 5ish years after LG stopped making phones.
I can be rather hard on phones in a commercial environment, big plus is that Tracfones can be had cheap because they are usually old tech (about 5 years behind).
I never was much of a phone talker which used to be the expensive part of Tracfone but now that has shifted to DATA being the expensive part was 10$ a gig, now 10 for 3 gigs, mostly I just use WiFi.
Total cost 50.00$/year (by website only), texts are cheap & now talk time is cheap…. mobile data is the expensive part.
I have saved up over 10,000 hours of talk time, occasionally have to buy texts(5$/1000), since I use that the most.
Most stores sell an assortment of combined time/text/data cards, but no longer the individual ones but can still be bought on as needed basis on their website.
I see Tracfone now offers 144$ a year with unlimited talk/text with 12gig data (10$/3gig as needed) which is a much better deal than 30-50 month for “unlimited” x 12 months (360-600$)
Took a long time to get used to Samsung phone’s android setup tho & they break things like USB transfer of photos that currently works but found a work around when it did not so I was not forced to upload to the “cloud” to get my photos.

Growing up, I only had the Atlantic. And, boy was I disappointed when I discovered how freezing cold the Pacific was! After all the beach blanket movies and surfer music I’d loved.
Funny, when I went on vacation with a buddy in 05 & we went to Mt St Helen’s & Cannon Beach OR, I expected it to be colder in OR as I knew CA beach was like sticking my foot in a bucket of ice when I was 16, but it was pretty much the same 500 miles up the coast. Nice to look at but wouldn’t want to swim it.
Only difference was you need to wear a sweat shirt on the beach in OR or you will be cold, you can still wear shorts tho as the legs stay warmer/tolerate the cold.
Way to used to swimming in the Gulf of AMERICA & Atlantic in FL as a kid, but I always looked like a Lobster by day 3 in FL.

A simple change of Kings can make a drastic change within a centralized system. Just look at the kings of Judah before the captivity in Babylon. Back and forth between ‘good’ kings and evil kings. He is denying a biblical lesson.
Truth is any system, centralized or decentralized rewards power, and the rest of the stuff he claims follows.
The genius of our founders was to use decentralization to diffuse power, and conflict between branches to limit abuse of power. This makes the gathering and abuse of power difficult. But it also requires a moral people.

Using Brave for TCTH has worked for me.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 27
The psalmist’s faith. (1-6) His desire toward God, and expectation from him. (7-14)
1-6 The Lord, who is the believer’s light, is the strength of his life; not only by whom, but in whom he lives and moves. In God let us strengthen ourselves. The gracious presence of God, his power, his promise, his readiness to hear prayer, the witness of his Spirit in the hearts of his people; these are the secret of his tabernacle, and in these the saints find cause for that holy security and peace of mind in which they dwell at ease. The psalmist prays for constant communion with God in holy ordinances. All God’s children desire to dwell in their Father’s house. Not to sojourn there as a wayfaring man, to tarry but for a night; or to dwell there for a time only, as the servant that abides not in the house for ever; but to dwell there all the days of their life, as children with a father. Do we hope that the praising of God will be the blessedness of our eternity? Surely then we ought to make it the business of our time. This he had at heart more than any thing. Whatever the Christian is as to this life, he considers the favour and service of God as the one thing needful. This he desires, prays for and seeks after, and in it he rejoices.
7-14 Wherever the believer is, he can find a way to the throne of grace by prayer. God calls us by his Spirit, by his word, by his worship, and by special providences, merciful and afflicting. When we are foolishly making court to lying vanities, God is, in love to us, calling us to seek our own mercies in him. The call is general, “Seek ye my face;” but we must apply it to ourselves, “I will seek it.” The word does us no good, when we do not ourselves accept the exhortation: a gracious heart readily answers to the call of a gracious God, being made willing in the day of his power. The psalmist requests the favour of the Lord; the continuance of his presence with him; the benefit of Divine guidance, and the benefit of Divine protection. God’s time to help those that trust in him, is, when all other helpers fail. He is a surer and better Friend than earthly parents are, or can be. What was the belief which supported the psalmist? That he should see the goodness of the Lord. There is nothing like the believing hope of eternal life, the foresights of that glory, and foretastes of those pleasures, to keep us from fainting under all calamities. In the mean time he should be strengthened to bear up under his burdens. Let us look unto the suffering Saviour, and pray in faith, not to be delivered into the hands of our enemies. Let us encourage each other to wait on the Lord, with patient expectation, and fervent prayer.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Until we awakened right on cue
We had no idea of what to do
Our daily agony just lengthened
Until we gathered and strengthened
Infiltrated extensively to the max
With enemy operatives in packs
Mesmerized imbibed and bribed
By the powers of darkness ascribed
Only God can disband this formidable foe
One that travels back and forth to and fro
That inhabits weak unsuspecting hosts
That of his successes he often boasts
The remnant petitioned the Throne of Grace
To bombard the enemy and deter his pace
With fire, fury and force He will outpace
With His Army of Angels He will displace
As pharaoh in his arrogance He smote
The Corrupt Cabal will miss the boat
