Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent appeared before the Senate today to discuss the Treasury budget appropriation and respond to questions.
Senate Intelligence Committee Vice-Chairman Mark Warner could not contain himself and used his time on camera to question Secretary Bessent about something far away from Bessent’s sphere of influence. Warner began physically shaking and grasping for words to describe his outrage, his apoplexy and fury at the audacity of President Trump to appoint Bill Pulte as Acting Director of National Intelligence.

Not since Matt Gaetz nomination to AG have we seen such fits of apoplexy coming from within congress to the interim appointment of a cabinet member in an ‘acting’ capacity. Forget the sand, the gears of government are reacting to an iron wrench in their machinery. It’s awesome.
They’ve already threatened to withhold FISA-702 reauthorization, and if we get lucky, they’ll threaten to eliminate the income tax.
I would love someone from the administration to respond to this question with, “The President thought it was more important at this time to appoint someone who was 100% loyal to this country, and to no other global, financial, corporate, or agency interests.”
Messaging ain’t their strong suit. If corruption were a ballroom we’d all be better informed by the WH.

High level physical stress indicators, including shaking hands, excessive eye blinking, repeated licking his lips, his eyes. Most likely high blood pressure. I would not be surprised at all if he had a full-fledged heart attack or a stroke. By many visible indicators, he’s a ticking time bomb physically.
He also has red capillaries on his nose which he is known for excessive alcohol use.
So true! I didn’t even notice it as that red nose has become his “standard” look. Wouldn’t doubt that he’d had a liquid lunch before this meeting began.

That was great. From what I’ve read here, Warner was entangled in many questionable actions. Maybe fear, looks like it. Would the DNI release something related to Warner’s shady past. Maybe related to grand jury work. I thinks he’s getting a name to blame as another Trump lackey. The Lunacrates will use more colorful words.

His example of leadership, doing his job should bring shame to the cons, but no. They , the elite are too arrogant and prideful.
