The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.
I wrote this several weeks ago. I agree Iran cannot have nuclear capabilities, and it must accept that freedom of navigation in international waters is without inference. Do I trust Iran? No. On Site verification must be allowed without any Iranian restrictions to time or place.

Weird people are normally outed when they attempt to convince people they are really normal, it’s a bizarre phenomenon I’ve seen countless times. It’s almost as if the brain accepts a wide range of behaviours, but is suspicious of fakery, triggering a gut-reaction that something’s not right.
In fact, some people characterise that intuitive response as anything but, seeing it instead as an unconscious analysis of micro-signals, leading to a conclusion not based on supposed illogicality but survival instincts honed over thousands of years.
So carry on Leftists, pretending you like the things we do, pretending you don’t despise us, pretending you are normal, you’re just helping trigger these instincts that many decent people usually over-ride for charitable reasons, an approach immediately exploited by their future abusers. Pictures like this though help reset these hind-brain survival mechanisms and allow them to function as designed.
Conversely, it’s Trump’s authenticity that helps cut through the MSM’s disinformation campaign and allows him to maximise the impact of his campaign appearances. We all knew he wasn’t really working a shift at McDonalds but it was obvious that the enjoyment he had from the experience was genuine, so an artificial backdrop becomes an authentic event. Same with the relish he shows when he tucks into a burger, or shows compassion with grieving relatives, or a grandfatherly delight being around children, or simply the way he communicates. it all speaks to an authenticity that Leftists think can be simply faked. It can’t , and it’s one of the reasons, among many, that they’re losing globally.
Authenticity is nearly impossible for our modern POS politicos. Obama’s sorry ass pulled it off with the idiot lot, but most of these thieves struggle massively.

My wife was an educator for 32 years. Toward the end of her career she often shared with me how lazy and apathetic students are today……… not all, but many. And don’t get me started on some of the sorry ass parents.
IQ is the key. Hard to accept, but the fact remains. Only a certain level of competence can be reached for MANY people.
Can’t speak for everyone.. and no disrespect to your wife who could be a rare gem.. but the quality of education, or indoctrination as the case may be, could be a factor in the declining student participation and grade averages of late. Teaching to the test might be important for teachers’ continued employment, but students find it boring to regurgitate answers that require little thought and pivoting from topic to topic without adequate depth or clarification of the material.
Those who are smart enough to appreciate the difference between education and indoctrination are often repulsed by their course material. I’m sure that today’s graduates are well versed about climate change, social justice and all sorts of lies that have no place in education. American history classes have been replaced by a class called global studies.
Even doctors can’t be trusted to learn about real medicine these days, only learning whatever big pHarma’s minions decide they should learn.
I would zone out too if I had to sit for all that passes for “education” these days. And sadly, the internet window to real knowledge is closing as well.
Thank you for your input. My wife is a rare gem. She taught 6th grade math for many years. She didn’t teach to the test. She engaged her students every. single. day! She pushed them and held up high standards for them. She devoted many hours outside of the classroom preparing lesson plans and planning for her classes. The parents loved her because they recognized her passion and commitment to her students. She is indeed a rare gem!
I’ve told this personal story before….
My younger daughter was hired about 6 years ago as a elementary school science teacher in Midland, Texas on the proviso that she get her Texas licensing to do so.
I’ve never seen anyone pour themselves into the project as she did.
She started by sourcing small local wildlife such as lizards etc and tanks into which she constructed their natural environments. Her room was colourful and instructive. She would take her charges outside so they could observe nature. She challenged them and filled them with enthusiasm. She would take one of her lizards, a bearded dragon, home with her on the weekends to make sure he was safe; and he became quite comfortable with her four young children. I have a.wonderful photo of one of her triplets reading while this remarkable creature slept on her chest, partially covered by a thin blanket…
One project was the hatching of chicken eggs. She scrounged for funding so she could do this; and if none could be offered, she personally contributed.
All this while she studied for and received the required qualifications.
My favourite story about her efforts came from a mother of one of her students who told her that her son would wake up excited every day with the exuberant greeting “It’s Science Day!!” He was just one of many…
Two years after my beautiful, loving daughter embarked on her journey to instill a love of learning in whoever came to her class, she was voted her school’s Teacher of the Year.
Blessed were her young students, WD, as I’m so sure those who had the great good fortune to have your wife as their teacher were also…
My daughter’s devotion will ensure that when they are grown, hers will remember her. So will your beloved wife’s. No price can be put on that.
Betsy, there are still outstanding educators. A friend (and former colleague) was just awarded county teacher of the year. She is in a class (no pun intended) beyond belief.

You are so right, Betsy. True teachers like your dear daughter and my wife are so passionate about their students. My wife has been retired 8 years now and occasionally we will run into a former student that she had 20 years ago and they will always tell her how much they enjoyed her class. So I can assure you that your daughter will be remembered in the same way. Teachers like this are indeed a rare gem!

I’ve noticed that my research efforts on engineering topics are buried under dross.
The AI algorithms provide answers which are not always true. They just aggregate information gleaned from the internet.
I have to dig deeper and search three to fives pages back (or more) to find some information which is not tainted by pre-programmed AI large language models.
I had a fun little exercise with AI when I asked it about climate change. Of course, it spit out a plethora of well-known climate change malarkey.
Next, I pinned down each AI point to it’s original source. The sources were flimsy at best. At one point I went off on a tangent about government propaganda, in which I boxed AI into admitting that AI itself is a well organized, government propaganda tool!
So many acquiesce and do the research for the lazy ones. They bring receipts only to be rebuffed in the end. “But goo gel says the opposite so ‘they’ must be correct.'”

This is not a slam dunk for any republican, in TX … especially with the State AG precluded, by State Law passed by the Republican TX Senate, from proactively pursuing election fraud.
Among the populations migrating to TX, foreign and domestic, the majority are predisposed to vote for socialist and democrat politicians.
For TX, the increase in the number of democrat registrations outpaced those registering as republican by almost 3:1.
While they were limited in their chances of gaining seats locally in Collin County TX, there were several Indian Candidates who registered at democrat and openly declared their intentions were to turn TX Blue on their banners, signs and political adds.
When they tell you what they plan to do, believe them!

Agree completely, but it is not only on the foreign side that Trump is working it, it is the domestic as well, and the integration of the two.

President Trump does “zoom out” and he is “shifting” the world.
The other day Susan Kokinda said something else we can all use. She said that while President Trump works effectively in the here and now, he “lives” in the future. He sees what can be. This was in reference to his comment about Iran joining the Abraham Accords.
He does see what could be and constantly works to achieve it. When he first mentioned Greenland being the 51st state I was surprised, but now I get it (future military strategy).
What we need to focus on now is the midterm election. We can support President Trump by talking to all the republicans we know about the importance of voting. Zoom out, shifting, and bringing the future to life are all good things to keep in mind.

Taking the elementary grades first sets an agenda on solid ground as those young students have minds like sponges and are easily molded mentally without them or their parents even realizing what’s being internalized. The need to stop both these issues in their tracks and start getting back our families and children is essential to fixing things, imo. We need to work on this everyday, all of us.

I noticed DHS Secretary Mullin is threatening to pull Customs (CBP) out of airports in sanctuary cities, which would mean no arrivals of international flights at those airports, unless (presumably) the passengers cleared at a non sanctuary airport, then reboarded and proceeded on. The idea has met resistance from the travel industry and airlines.
Here is my view, retired US Customs, a field inspector of humble grade, not a headquarters guy, not a legal analyst: The ports of entry are established by Congress, so essentially closing any of them would provoke a Congressional response. However, many airports that process international flights are not, according to regulation, actually designated as
international airports. In California, for example , LAX and SFO are “landing rights” airports, and as such, the Secretary could simply deny landing rights to flights arriving from foreign. There are also “user fee” airports, with the same vulnerabity to having an aircraft denied landing. I await Secretary Mullin’s next move, with interest.
If I perhaps wanted to cause consternation to California, for example, without hurting the travel industry, import trade, or inconveniencing passengers, I might direct CBP to cease enforcing California’s liquor and wine import laws. Actually, CBP has no authority to do this, its basically a favor that started in the 1970s. Or, CBP could cease providing California with import entry information, which the tax authorities use to collect a user tax on imports. In fact, the California tax on imports functions as a tariff, which states are constitutionally prohibited from levying without Congressional approval. Duties collected by a state are required to be paid into the US Treasury. Perhaps a demand letter for the millions (?) owed, plus interest? Just throwing that out there.
Denying international flights is going to have significant legal obstacles.
Pulling out ICE isn’t denying international flights. The flights have to be cleared somewhere else and can continue to LAX. Private aircraft do this all the time.
The disconnect I see is that Immigration and Customs is a Federal operation and not a local or state one. If they are messing up then yank those personnel and bring in new agents. The state and local governments have no say in the matter.
Most if not all of the airports are not set up to handle the influx of foreigners that were supposed to go to LAX or wherever. It’s not an efficient way at all. Imagine all LAX IC operations being shifted to Phoenix?

But that DOES NOT mean data centers should just drain public power. I’m dead set against any data center that has a SINGLE line feeding them power from the grid. But some are generating their own power and giving the excess TO the grid. Those are two very different scenarios.
Thankfully, Kevin O’Leary has said his data center project in Utah will generate its own power. THIS IS A MUST. Just like railroads, factories, oil, and electricity powered previous generations, the future will run on AI computing, powered by massive amounts of energy. We need both to stop China from dominating the world. China knows this and is trying to turn data centers into a boogeyman.
There’s evidence out now from the Bitcoin Policy Institute that foreign influence networks are actively feeding this anti-data center movement in the United States. They traced several overlapping campaigns, all aimed at slowing American AI infrastructure down, directly to China. Strong countries build infrastructure. Weak countries fear it. We can’t fall for their trap. But we must also build strategically without sacrificing public resources.

A radiator is a close loop system that uses AIR to cool.
A steam turbine is a closed loop system that uses WATER to cool.
A steam boiler and turbine is a somewhat closed loop system. Steam is generated, sent to a steam turbine that makes electricity and returns the boiler as condensate. But there are losses like steam traps, leaks and blow-down. Makeup water is needed to combine with the condensate to make feed water but that is not the real water user.
A steam turbine needs a vacuum to function. That is produced by having the steam cooled in the condenser. If the condenser gets to hot vacuum is lost and the turbine trips offline. So cooling WATER in great volumes is needed. There are two types. Once through and cooling towers. Once through uses big reservoirs of water like rivers, lakes and sometime the sea water. It uses screens to remove debris that could lodge in the condenser. They create thermal pollution.
Cooling towers can also do the job in areas without a lot of surface water but they need a lot of water often sucked from aquifers. The warm water is run down the inside of the tower with big fans at the top supply air, this causes lots of evaporation back into the atmosphere. That loss demands huge amounts of makeup water. That moisture (water is lost and may be part of rain hundreds of miles away). That is a little simple but explains it well enough for here. Anyone that has seen a power plants cooling towers has seen the huge plumes of steam rising off them at times. Depending on the ambient temp the plume may not be visible. If the air is hot you won’t see the plume, it the air is cooler you will see the plume.

The foibles of a narrow view – water usage of data centers has nothing to do with the external power generation. Originally very old systems used air cooling and traditional industrial air cooling systems. As the power consumption took a sharp bend skyward, the majority switched to open loop water cooling.
Centers from 10 years ago had water usage measured in the millions of gallons PER day. The newer mega centers being built dwarf the older centers by 2 orders of magnitude in power consumption. Power consumption is heat produced is corresponding scaling for cooling needs.

Old systems were very inefficient and ran at low pressures compared to today. A combined cycle I worked at ran at about 2600 psi which the steam temp is 722 F. That is a big difference for cooling. Also years ago were once through that used water from lakess and rivers that the water was immediately returned. That’s not the the case with cooling towers.
We got off on power plants because yesterday someone said a closed loop cooling system uses no water. But air or water must be used to dissipate the heat inside the closed loop.
Harrison is correct in power plants for AI data centers are only part of the problem. The needs of A/C and server cooling will amount to millions more gallons a day. A mid size city of 10.000 to 50,000 will consume about 5 million gallons a day. The AI data centers will use that or more, with and estimated 60-80% lost to evaporation from what I have read. 1 megawatt power about 1000 homes, but is a small percentage of generation. 20-40% the rest is industrial commercial. So the places at risk are low available water, with declining aquifers.
One of the things that I’ve not seen from any of the plant designers is the use of ground cooling – i.e. making use of the near constant 55 F ground at relatively shallow depths for the heat sink side of an outer closed loop. It’s been done for housing for a while now. Considering the footprint of the facilities…
As far as the places as risk – as shown in the article I shared, with examples from actual sites, their current methods also drive up the cost to the surrounding community for water.
My father worked at and supervised a Zinc Smelting Operation in Western PA, that had its own electrical power plant and used water as part of other smelting processes.
As far back as about 1973, the EPA (founded in 1970) was monitoring the water return outlets from the plant into the Allegheny-Ohio River … for return water temperature and purity.
The same goes for the power plant exhaust stacks as well as “smoke” stacks associated with the smelter .. monitored for purity, content and temperature.
There were even “amateur” environmentalist who watched the plant 24/7 … constantly filing frivolous law suits with their photographic evidence as well as running a constant BS Stories in the local papers.
The concerns and technologies have been around for over 50 years.
Same reasons manufacturing was happy to move overseas – no environmental regulations.
Don’t misunderstand …. I am all for clean environmental regulation. I grew in Southwestern PA and remember well the stuff pumped out of the steel mills and coke ovens … into the air and dumped into the water. Even in my hometown there was a large B&W Tubular products (unique source of seamless piping at the time) and a Cork Works …. both dumped allot of bad stuff.
I have no issues with allot of the clean air and water regulations.
However, I do agree that it was the cost of compliance even with clean air and water ACTS that saw many industries move off shore to escape the cost … which in my mind is just as criminal as the dumping they were performing. This is also an issue whereby Tariffs and Penalties would have fixed the issue by leveling the competitive environment vs those who produced off-shore ignoring the environmental impact. Lack of penalties and tariffs highlights the hypocrisy present among “environmental advocates” in government and politics.
True story … I can remember my dad having to go to the Local Federal Court in Pittsburgh to answer why the outputs into the air and river from the Plant were actually CLEANER at the OUTPUT Pipes and Stacks than at the INTAKES to the plant … to avoid an EPA sanction vs the plant.
Well a good example is a large modern paper and pulp mill will use about 20 million gallons a day with 5-20 percentage loss of water to steam leaks and evaporatation. Smaller mills use about 5-10 million gallons a day. Mills are currently focused on saving water with some down to one million gallons a day. The pulping process uses more of the water.

News flash …. pension and retirement funds have been funding the “data centers” of the Tech and Communications Companies that are NOW part of their managed fund portfolios by the Financial Management Industry (i.e. Blackrock, Vanguard, Fidelity, Schwab, Edward Jones, Hathaway, et al).
Data centers have existed for at least the past 40 YEARS … and have always grown to keep pace with the computing technologies that feed them. This need for EXPANDED or NEW data centers is not new .. what is new nefarious methods being used to expand them.
Technology has hit the part of the “Moore’s Law ” growth curve where the number of data centers required will have increase at a faster pace to match the output of the technology.
No matter the moral or immoral intent of the AI-SOFTWARE Technology feeding the data center … the expansion of the number of data centers was ALWAYS going to happen.
The intent of the AI-SOFTWARE capabilities is based on the Humans who own it as are the data centers. Sure battle the growth of AI and associated support structure on moral grounds but do so understanding that there will be growth.

Gee, I’ll bet after all the hours of work they devote to their communication they will be just so happy to hear what a helper they have in you. Maybe they can contact you for coaching? After all, delivery perfection is important, especially when you put out content several times a week.
Maybe if they spent less time delivering facts they could concentrate on “you know.”?
That said, I have a hard time understanding that is your takeaway given all the ideas they document and discuss.
However, in your quest to make them aware of how they can improve (style matters!), the least you could do is contact them yourself.
The leaker was well liked.

Humor to a point…I was one of those parents, 40+ years ago, that had to pay out of pocket for every damn thing my child needed.
I have always wondered why some of them give such a huge smile in what appears to be a “booking” photo.
Because nothing will ever happen…except maybe to a few token perps…IMHO of course…
At some point, we need to start sentencing people to life in prison with no possibility of parole the first time they are convicted of ANY fraud against the US Government – no exceptions!
Right now, they get a slap on the wrist and we, the taxpayers, are still out the millions of dollars they stole! (Multiplied by thousands of fraudsters and suddenly we understand why we are almost 40 TRILLION dollars in debt and Congress hasn’t managed to pass a budget for 20 years!)
With all of this fraud being discovered, the federal funding for these programs needs to be reduced by at least the amount of fraud discovered.
