It is unusual for me to be up this late, but I couldn’t sleep. My sister informed me she has Thrush mouth. She has a vaccine cultist mindset. She is four covid shots in and numerous other vaccines like the Flu and shingles shots. I asked her to look up VAIDS. Of course, she used Google and it said debunked conspiracy theory. I have lost my favorite cousin, a longtime friend, my favorite uncle and now I am scared for my sister. They were healthy people until they took the covid shots.
Thrush is very treatable but she should look into boosting her immune system because this condition is a sign that hers may be weakened. A good doctor would be on top of that but the US medical system is not what it used to be.
Eating unsweetened yogurt may help……probably needs a medication called ‘Nystatin’. (oral antifungal)…
Also cutting back on sweets in the diet may help keep it at bay…but the cure is nystatin prescription from a trusted health care provider.
Usually thrush is a disease of infants. I agree older adults it is usually poor immune system or taking certain drugs. But there are many more reasons to like poor oral hygiene and diabetes.
Being ignorant of the medical condition, I wondered why having the mouth of a songbird is something to complain about.
Thrush is yeast overgrowth.
Usually, from taking antibiotics,
because antibiotics only kill bacteria.
By eliminating the bacterial competition,
you get a fungal/ yeast overgrowth
…and yes, sugar helps the growth of the anaerobic microbes.

Memorial Day Parade & Little League Opening Day – Blackwood & Gloucester Township, NJ
Those old-time neighborhood parades were the best! Memorial Day (Decoration Day), Veterans Day, and all the rest of them we always looked forward to. The brisk pace was good cardiovascular exercise too. I was stomping my feet as I watched this video. Unfortunately, this great grandfather can only move that fast when “marching” downhill! And not too steep either, or else I’ll trip and take out the poor souls ahead of me, LOL!
My grandfather was born in 1895 and never called it Memorial Day, it was always Decoration Day to him. He was a WW1 Vet. Traditionally it was always May 30th, but the Federal workers wanted another three day weekend so it became a rotating holiday in 1971.
Also don’t forget Flag Day, an area city nearby has a large Flag Day parade every year.

I don’t observe Juneteenth, June 19th is my brothers birthday and nothing else. I am tired of these made up holidays to make a small portion of the population happy.

I have been clearing out 3 generations worth of junk. And have been viewing the decluttering videos…after seeing a few, i realized its based on the boring minimalism concepts…which if that is your thing, then great…
Minimalism is a Gen Z thing…and also, IMHO, “you will own nothing and be happy”…this generation has no use for fine china, crystal or silver (and the work such as polishing silver to keep tarnish at bay)…
Decluttering is deeply personal and need not be done in a day as some videos are pushing…or buying more products to ‘organize’…
For me, a work in progress…
My dad used to clean house and throw a lot of stuff away. Then he would realize he still wanted it or threw out a needed item, like one boot of a pair of good boots. We would then have to go to the dump and sort through the garbage to try and recover the item he wanted to recover.
Cleaning out my mom’s house has given me a desire to not plague my child with having to clean out my ‘treasured’ belongings, collections, etc.
I am starting with my least favored books. Two to start off each garbage bag and two to top them off.
And to think I have been lugging this stuff around, paying movers, etc, stuff I don’t even want, because my library is ‘precious’.
Jim, please donate your books. I find the best stuff, even some inscribed first editions on my local library’s sale racks.
After reviewing numberless videos on this topic (a form of torture but undertaken on behalf of a loved one) there is one channel that seems to be an actual, real woman who deals with the matter with a human heart. She has a dry sense of humor, too.

With all the chaos going on in the world people are wanting to go back to safe homey curated environments. Beautiful floral drapes, antique furniture, fine china, crystal and silver.
Declutter as time allows. Some of what you think is junk may be another persons treasure. Good luck it can be overwhelming.
I am trying to do this too. I find it very difficult to throw away anything. It is going to take awhile. I am just going to use the silver for everyday. Quilts are just on the beds.

Biography: Copernicus, as well as an Astronomer was also a mathematician and physician. However it is for the formulation of his Heliocentric theory, where by planets revolved around the sun, that he is most revered.
Copernicus developed this theory throughout his life through study in Poland and Italy, reading of classical works and through his own astrological observations. The latter all done with the naked eye. His theory was finally published in 1543, the year of his death as ‘Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium’.

COMMENTARY FOR 1 JOHN 4:7
Believers cautioned against giving heed to every one that pretends to the Spirit. (1-6) Brotherly love enforced. (7-21)
7-13 The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love. He that does not love the image of God in his people, has no saving knowledge of God. For it is God’s nature to be kind, and to give happiness. The law of God is love; and all would have been perfectly happy, had all obeyed it. The provision of the gospel, for the forgiveness of sin, and the salvation of sinners, consistently with God’s glory and justice, shows that God is love. Mystery and darkness rest upon many things yet. God has so shown himself to be love, that we cannot come short of eternal happiness, unless through unbelief and impenitence, although strict justice would condemn us to hopeless misery, because we break our Creator’s laws. None of our words or thoughts can do justice to the free, astonishing love of a holy God towards sinners, who could not profit or harm him, whom he might justly crush in a moment, and whose deserving of his vengeance was shown in the method by which they were saved, though he could by his almighty Word have created other worlds, with more perfect beings, if he had seen fit. Search we the whole universe for love in its most glorious displays? It is to be found in the person and the cross of Christ. Does love exist between God and sinners? Here was the origin, not that we loved God, but that he freely loved us. His love could not be designed to be fruitless upon us, and when its proper end and issue are gained and produced, it may be said to be perfected. So faith is perfected by its works. Thus it will appear that God dwells in us by his new-creating Spirit. A loving Christian is a perfect Christian; set him to any good duty, and he is perfect to it, he is expert at it. Love oils the wheels of his affections, and sets him on that which is helpful to his brethren. A man that goes about a business with ill will, always does it badly. That God dwells in us and we in him, were words too high for mortals to use, had not God put them before us. But how may it be known whether the testimony to this does proceed from the Holy Ghost? Those who are truly persuaded that they are the sons of God, cannot but call him Abba, Father. From love to him, they hate sin, and whatever disagrees with his will, and they have a sound and hearty desire to do his will. Such testimony is the testimony of the Holy Ghost.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

The moral life of Christians is sustained by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These are permanent dispositions which make man docile in following the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. They belong in their fullness to Christ, Son of David. They complete and perfect the virtues of those who receive them. They make the faithful docile in readily obeying divine inspirations.
Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God . . .
If children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ.
The fruits of the Spirit are perfections that the Holy Spirit forms in us as the first fruits of eternal glory. the tradition of the Church lists twelve of them:
“charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, generosity, gentleness,
faithfulness, modesty, self-control, chastity.”
I am quite irritated. I went online taking a break from packing to check on the Indianapolis 500 race to see how it was progressing. The Brave A.I. attendant said this:

It proceeded to tell me that the race ran for over 3 1/2 hours and x many seconds – the problem with this????

Seems true to government standards – the garbage they develop with taxpayer money – is worthless, nonsensical, and used to mislead the public.
If they can continue to improve their weather manipulations – maybe they can calibrate the meteorologists to get it right more than half the time.
This also goes to show that the “predictive qualities” of artificial intelligence – are highly suspect. But what will be even MORE suspect is if A.I. correctly predicts this race.
Incidentally Conor Daly attended Savannah’s school K-12.

Been to the race several times but the best seat in the house is in my recliner. The sheer Americanism and patriotism of the opening Ceremonies is something to see even if you aren’t a race fan. When weather enters the mix, as it did this year, anything can happen.

Don’t you find it interesting that A.I. predicted 1st and 2nd place finishers over an hour before it ended? Third place wasn’t Conor… he finished 12th but I guess he held strong in most of the race.
Yes, it’s a massive event for Indiana… but I’ve never had inclination to attend.

Hi Treepers. My family is in desperate need of prayer right now.
From Friday evening to Sunday morning, my Dad’s health has utterly collapsed.
He’s now in the hospital and my Mom has asked me to come home. The doctors haven’t said it’s the end, but they have told her that things are very serious right now.
As I type this, I’m at the Dallas Love Field and a storm has forced a ground stop on top of the delays that will have me arriving home well after midnight.
Please pray for my Dad’s health and for me to reach Chicago safely without having to rebook my flight or scramble for overnight accommodation.
May the Lord’s Will be done, but, please, dear Father, don’t take my Daddy. Don’t take him away from us…

Lord Jesus Christ,
I come before you today with a prayer for my friends sick family members. I give you thanks for your unending love for Tinuvials Dad. I know you are aware of their illness and what it is doing to them. I pray that you may have compassion and heal them from their ailments.
Jesus our Lord, we all know that we are not worthy to receive you but only say a word and all our sickness shall be healed. Lord, forgive us and cleanse us from our sins. Your Holy Word says that when you healed those who were sick, you did that by forgiving them their sins.
The Holy Bible tells us that whatever we shall ask in Your Name shall be given. The blind man, Bartimaeus called out your name and begged to see again, and you restored his sight. Jesus, today I come to you in prayer shouting in faith to you that you restore Tinuvials Dad health.
Amen.
Praying that The Lord will give you gentle journey home to your Father. Praying for your Father that he stabilizes and improves and that this journey home to him will encourage him and bring him great comfort.
