Everytime I see that picture of Mark Carney giving the middle finger to President Trump I think about Marine Gunnery Sargent Carlos Hathcock, a very successful sniper during the Vietnam War.

Yes, very sad. I lost my husband to a rare disease. I hope there is a good outcome in his case. My sister in law’s husband had bone cancer and they had to completely wipe out his bone marrow (which renders you vulnerable to infection, you basically have to isolate at home for a long time). On the positive side, that was over 10 years ago and he’s in remission and leading a relatively normal life AFAIK. I bet the treatment is more sophisticated now than it was when my relative was diagnosed.

Understand GOD IS ALL LOVE … so I also sent GOD’S LOVE to all the LEFTISTS and terrorists, and all people on the earth.
What the human’s that have fallen need is our Prayers asking only to send GOD’S LOVE to all the children of GOD.

I hope Trump listens to Tulsi’s advice on a successor. She has done incredible work dismantling the silo system. She recently moved to have the entire FISA opinion on Section 702 abused de-classified.

This all sounds like fantasyland bullshit to me.
Maybe at one point Tulsi was considering a 2028 run. Part of her reasoning might have involved who decided to run on the Republican ticket. For example, if Vance ran she would likely support him, or at least that’s how some see it.
But now with her husband’s serious illness, a run seems out of the question. He likely will have difficult treatments and a long battle to recover.

Could Tulsi have taken ‘indeterminate leave’? It would have the same immediate effect, with a ‘deputy’ taking her place until the Senate approves a new nominee. And the Senate won’t approve anyone honest. And especially anyone nominated by DJT.
Perhaps DJT could appoint an ambassador or another perviously senate approved person, because DNI is the second most important position (Attorney General controlls law enforcement against fraud/traitors/crooks, so is the most important)

She is probably already starting to get burnt out from her current position and she will need tremendous strength, both physically and emotionally, to be the caregiver and medical advocate for her husband.
Her focus right now, is on her husband, whom she called her “rock.” She has made him her priority, which in a good, strong marriage is the way it should be.

The story of Cuba’s 1996 shootdown that led to Raúl Castro’s indictment–CBS News:
“… An investigation by the ICAO later concluded that the planes were shot down over international waters, several miles outside of Cuban airspace. Cuban and U.S. radar data conflicted, with Cuba claiming the planes were inside its airspace, according to the ICAO, so the organization based its findings on data from a nearby cruise ship.
The ICAO also noted that international law bars countries from firing at civilian planes, even inside their own airspace. And the organization found Cuba did not attempt less drastic measures, including communicating with the planes via radio or guiding them out of Cuban airspace. Intercepting civil aircraft is supposed to be a “last resort,” the ICAO wrote.
Cuba has long defended its decision to shoot down the planes, insisting that Brothers to the Rescue had encroached on the country’s sovereignty. Months later, Fidel Castro acknowledged to then-“CBS Evening News” anchor Dan Rather that he had given “general orders” to the military to stop planes from encroaching on Cuba, though he said that he and his brother, Raúl Castro, hadn’t specifically ordered the two Cessnas to be shot down on Feb. 24.
In an interview with Time magazine, Fidel Castro said after repeated incursions on Cuban airspace: “We instructed the armed forces that we would not tolerate it again.”
The U.S. reacted furiously to the shootdowns. Within weeks, Congress passed tighter sanctions on Cuba, and former President Bill Clinton suspended charter flights to the island nation and expanded broadcasts to Cuba by a U.S.-sponsored radio station.
“The planes posed no credible threat to Cuba’s security,” Clinton said in a speech a few days after the Cessnas were shot down. “Although the group that operated the planes had entered Cuban airspace in the past on other flights, this is no excuse for the attack, and provides—let me emphasize—no legal basis under international law for the attack.” …….
