Its always been bizarre. From what I have read it’s the same with the Jewish people. They saw the Democrats as their protectors during the civil rights movement. The Jewish people were targeted by the NeoNazis and some other radical extremists groups. They convinced them Goldwater and the John Birch society were out to get them. Of course the Democrats never did anything for them so they would stay in the Democratic party with promises, just like the blacks.
What has changed is the Democrats outright hate of Jews and harassment in the US. But many Jew, especially older ones cling to the old ways and still believe the Democrats will deliver on those broken promises.
Carter was an anti-Semite, Nixon and Kissenger saved Israel. Trump has done more for the Jews and Israel than any other President. But people hate to admit they have been scammed their whole life and cling to their beliefs.
White Europeans aren’t tribal but just about every other group is. All of those groups vote for dems in big numbers.
The way I explain it to myself is: there are people of Jewish heritage (J1) and people of Jewish faith (J2).
Many J1 are secular leftists of the “vote blue no matter who” variety.
Many J2 were successfully indoctrinated that National Socialism was actually right-wing and vote not-Red (blue or stay home).
That the blue team is or sides with people that openly state they will kill both J1 and J2 doesn’t click. Yet.
In NYC many of the rest leave that city.
I am Jewish and don’t understand the stupidity of the Jewish voting habits. Whether it is” Jewish guilt” or feeling sorry for the less fortunate, I still can’t understand it. I’ve been hearing “the Jews” coming from Bongino when discussing Massie and it’s really frustrating. Massie cannot be, as far as I have been able to tell, never voiced anything antisemitic. It has always been about not supporting Israel.

If you are critical of Israel’s behavior (USS Liberty, stolen US military Uranium, and more recently, performing attacks which prevented Trump from being able to discuss Iran’s future with Iran’s next-in-line leadership?) that doesn’t make you antisemitic unless you believe ALL Jewish people are on board with whatever the Israeli government does.

All through the summer of 2020, the MSM bombarded its viewers with a never-ending series of images of riots and masked citizens, in a pre-election barrage designed to help their political wing, the Democrat Party, create a narrative of plausible victory essential to the voter ‘fortification’ strategy.
